Anita Working Out In Willmore Park
Anita is very committed to making her tummy flatter. (For the record, I think it's fine, but I totally support her goals.) She's been learning some kind of tunny-flattening dance, some sort of zumba or belly-dancing thing. She sure has fun with it. :)

Holiday Bread Pudding!
My wife has learned how to make my family's traditional bread pudding recipe for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She loves it so much, we are making an extra batch today even though we are between those holidays. As a child, my family stuffed the turkey with it and called it stuffing. I didn't realize until later on in life, when I was an adult, and was having Thanksgiving with a different family, that stuffing in a bird is apparently NOT normally sweet and yummy. The bread pudding stuffing has apples, raisins, brown sugar, cinnamon, and other yummy stuff. You can make it in a baking dish like this or stuff a bird with it and have the bird juices add their flavor to it.

Adventures with Bunnies
More adventures with bunnies! Bunny harnesses arrived from Amazon, but they were too small for our bunnies. My seamstress wife fixed that. Here she is outside sharing sunshine and fresh air with them. In her generation in the Philippines, the animals around were not pets, they were all there for a purpose. The pigs were for pork. The chickens for eggs, etc. Only in my step-daughter's generation did kids in her village get the luxury of pets. My wife is loving these bunnies like a little girl with her first pets because they are her first pets. She's very cute with them.

Each Snowflake is Unique
Yesterday was one of those days in Spring when Winter tries to pretend it's coming back. It wasn't my FIlipina wife's first snow here in America, but as we watched it coming down through the windows of our home, I explained what most Americans learn as little kids, that each snowflake is a unique crystal structure, unlike any other. I showed her pictures of individual snowflakes on the internet and she was so inspired that she had to go outside and observe individual flakes for herself examining them on her gloves and sleeves.

Easter 2021 at the Klement house.
A belated Easter post: Last weekend, my wife found an albino, red-eyed bunny in our yard. It docilely came up to her and ate from her hand. It must have escaped or been dumped by previous human owners. Pet rabbits have NO survival skills so we rescued it. My son Ian noticed that right after we saved it, a dog came into our yard and followed the rabbit's scent trail, everywhere it had been in our yard. Welcome to the family, little Snow White. (Yes, our house is a little trashed in some of the pics. We are in the process of moving.)

Episode 18: How to Teach Science to High Schoolers: Controversial & Fake Science: The Radium Craze
The purpose of education is SUPPOSED to be to prepare our young people for adult life, and to be the next generation of adults in our world. Critical thinking is needed more and more to navigate propaganda and ulterior motives presented as "science". How can this delicate topic be approached with teenagers?
