Just a quick little Bible journaling I did. It could be better but I had fun doing it and that's what counts. I love the way the watercolors make my Bible pages crinkly. That may bother some people but it actually makes me happy. The watercolor did bleed through the page. To avoid that I could have used Gesso. After reading my devotion for the day, I printed the picture of the stairway from a google search. I prepped the Bible page with clear gesso (which I will probably not do next time until after the tracing is done in pen). After putting the gesso on the page I used a blow dryer to dry it. I then traced the picture onto my Bible page in pencil, then used a micron pen to trace over the pencil. I then erased the pencil and colored it with watercolor pencils. (The brand I have is no longer available on Amazon). Next I went over it with water. Lastly, I used a Tombow brush pen for the lettering.
