Maddie & Ellie the Great Danes love going out for afternoon snack & have specific tastes. Watch & laugh as Ellie enjoys an ice cream cone & a cup of ice cream while Maddie passes on ice cream, preferring to chow down on a cheeseburger.

Maddie the Great Dane loves going for a car ride with Mom because usually car rides involve drive thru windows & treats. Watch & laugh as Maddie realizes that something is different with this car ride, as Ellie is not joining them & the destination doesn't have a drive thru window. When Maddie gets inside she quickly realizes that the place doesn't smell like food either. Even though Maddie has not been to this Vet before she knew something was up. Maddie tries to make herself comfortable in the empty waiting room after weighing in at 136.4 lbs / 68.2 kg & then gets checked out by Dr Yassa who confirms Dr Mom's diagnosis that Maddie has mastitis again. Maddie was rx'd 84 Keflex antibiotic pills & 21 Carprovet antiflammatory pills to hopefully get her on the way to recovery. Mom wishes our mobile vet still came out to our area - it was so much more relaxing for everyone.

Maddie the Great Dane loves all the features of her pool. The walk in steps, the tanning shelf aka the splashing & dashing shelf & the waterfall. Watch & laugh as Maddie has great fun sharing the pool fun with 18 month old Will as his tours around the pool in Grandpa's arms for a walkabout. 33 lbs Will is much easier for Grandpa to carry in the pool

Ellie & Mikey the Great Danes love to play with their Jolly Balls. Watch & laugh as 3 year old Ellie enjoys pouncing & bouncing with the Jolly Balls with almost two year old Mikey. Ellie is quite the Jolly Ball athlete & shows off her moves to Mikey.

Two year old Auntie Maddie the Great Dane loves to swim & wants to show 18 month old Will how much fun it is to swim together. Watch & laugh as Maddie shows Will her cannonball dives & paddles around keeping a close eye on Will as Grandpa Larry takes Will for walkabouts in the pool. The underwater view of Will & Maddie standing together is so cute.

Maddie the Great Dane instinctively knows to be careful around wee Will & the pool. Watch & enjoy as Maddie becomes Will's self appointed lifeguard as he explores the tanning shelf/kiddie pool, keeping a very close eye on Will & on Grandpa Dad as they all enjoy their first dip in the pool together.

Maddie and Ellie the Great Danes love playing with their toys & also love pestering Jack to play. Decisions. Decisions. Watch & laugh as Ellie has fun shaking & snorting as she plays with a stuffie & Maddie takes Purple around the house & outside for a game of catch & fetch.

Sharing is caring, especially when it is Treat Time! Watch & laugh as Jack & Maddie enjoy sharing the Cat Treats & Maddie does a great job of catching the little fish sticks. Maddie loves to crunch the treats one at a time.

Jack the Cat & Maddie & Ellie love their afternoon naps together. Watch & laugh as Doorway Guard Jack, slowly wakes up with a yawn & a smile & a tummy rub from Mom before deciding it is time to visit the treat cabinet. With his cute post yawn overbite, Jack is channeling his Count Jackula. Ellie likes her treats delivered while Maddie decides to join Jack at the treat cabinet.

Ally Cat loves the new previously enjoyed patio furniture that Mom scored on Facebook Marketplace. Ally had a front row seat for Dad's first lighting of the fire table. Watch & laugh as Maddie wisely takes a step back when Mom hears the Poof! of gas & Dad's first lighting of the fire place table flames up a little more than he expected. Ally Cat went flying off the chair at the Poof of Fume Flame. All went well, but let our experience be a serious warning to be careful of the propane in the air, when lighting a table.

Maddie the Great Dane loves toys & still has her rainbow puppy stuffy ball that she brought with her from her breeder family when we welcomed her into our hearts at 4 months of age. Watch & laugh as to both Maddie & Mom's surprise, Maddie executes a pretty cool Volleyball bump of her rainbow ball, catches the rebound & circles the sofas in a victory lap before cuddling up with her toy on the loveseat.

Water Loving Maddie loves playing in the pool & fetching & catching her Piggy. Watch & laugh as Maddie has great fun fetching Mr Piggy & squeaking him while enjoying a swim with Mom.

Maddie and her Michigan besties Nora & Eva dig playing together & really love digging big holes together. Watch & laugh as the girls go wild excavating not one, but two holes as Mom tries to figure out how she is going to hide the holes from Dad. Good luck with that Mom. Maddie is looking forward to another visit from her buddies in November. Mom better stock up on grass seed.

Jack the Cat definitely finds his sisters Maddie & Ellie to be amusing. Watch & laugh as after a quick game of Whack A Dane, Maddie moves on to a game of Tug A Toy with Ellie, with a wee little toy, which doesn't have much to tug. There is so much excitement before the girls head out the front door.

Maddie the Great Dane loves her Piggy toys. Ellie & Mom & Dad & Jack love the Piggies even more after a Squeakectomy has been performed! Watch & laugh as upside down Maddie happily & QUIETLY nibbles on Mr Piggy allowing Ellie to enjoy some quality nap time without a squeaker serenade.

Maddie the Great Dane loves when her buddy Boone comes over to visit, but isn't thrilled when Nosy Boone gets his nose in her private business or near her treasures. Watch & laugh as Maddie proudly carries the "Cardboard Core Bone" from the replacement screen & then proceeds to unravel the core. Maddie makes it very clear to Boone that she doesn't want him nosing around her precious stick or her back end. Unfazed by Maddie's "smiles" Boone just keeps coming back for more & Maddie keeps dishing it out.

Maddie loves it when her buddy Boone the German Shorthaired Pointer comes over to play. Watch & laugh as Maddie & Boone have a blast running full speed zoomies across the putting green, around the back yard, beside the pool & through the tanning shelf. Maddie has figured out how to keep Boone out of her private business by jumping into the pool. Not easily deterred, Boone follows Maddie in for a swim together. Mom is convinced that just watching all Boone & Maddie's exercise burns calories...lol

Chef Maddie and Ellie the Great Danes love spaghetti & meatballs night. Watch & and laugh as the girls slurp up their spaghetti & and sauce & and patiently wait for their meatballs!

Jack the Cat does enjoy a good game of Whack A Dane. Watch & laugh as Jack enjoys double the fun, with doubling whacking of both Maddie & Ellie from his strategic position under the dining room chair. Once everyone has enjoyed a bit of morning exercise, Jack & Maddie & Ellie head of to the kitchen to enjoy their breakfasts.

RIP Jimmy Buffet. Thank you for all the Five O'clock Somewhere memories. Max & Katie loved dipping & sipping in the pool with Katie balancing the Five O'Clock Somewhere tumbler on her floatie.

Maddie the Great Dane loves to be involved with Mom's projects. Watch & enjoy as Maddie eagerly rearranges the sticks in the firepit bowl & then checks out the before & after patio & lanai furniture redecorating by rearranging & then celebrates a job well done with a quick patrol for squirrels & a leap into the pool.

Maddie the Ellie the Great Danes are very polite when they sit down for dinner . Watch & laugh as Maddie isn't terribly impressed with corn on the cob & Ellie & Maddie turn their noses up at Mom's mashed potatoes, but Maddie happily cleans the meat & sauce right off the rib bone. Ellie enjoyed her taste of ribs too. Mom's secret recipe for perfect ribs every time is to cook them low & slow. Mom covers the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan with rib sauce & then the ribs go in meaty side down & she pours the rest of the sauce on top of the ribs & covers the pan in foil. The ribbies bake for 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees and then Mom flips them over & cooks them for another half hour uncovered.

Maddie the Great Dane enjoyed a special breakfast treat. As, delivery of our regular dog food was delayed by the weather; Maddie enjoyed breakfast with Mikey. In 2021 Mikey was chosen to be the Large Breed Guy to be photographed for the new Halo Elevate dog food bag formulated for large breed dogs. Watch & enjoy as Maddie is very impressed with Mikey's kibbles & polishes off her whole bowl. Due to her more rain & her Hurricane Hangover, Ellie was enjoying breakfast in bed.

Maddie the Great Dane is such a great greeter when Mom comes home. Watch & laugh as Maddie proudly brings her new Alligator Toy from Fairy Godmother to greet Mom as she comes home, smiling with her Alligator Teeth. Maddie takes Mom & Mr Alligator for a little tour before Mom & Ellie say hello, from Ellie's laid back spot on the loveseat.

Maddie the Great Dane enjoys checking out our Florida weather. Watch & enjoy as Maddie checks out the early afternoon bands of Hurricane Idalia as the weather smells different as the early winds begin to pick up.
