A hunt at 2 schools in 2020 after recovering from Covid before it was a thing.

First hunt of the year on a solo hunt trying something new and only for a couple of hours. Found some things and dirt glitter. Not a bad hunt for the first of the year! The powers that be are allowing us to be normal so we can start accessing areas again! Hope you all are well!

I meet up with the guys at Grant High School to see what we can find and I do a little detecting at my favorite local spot.

Out with the guys from 503 Diggers hunting some high school grounds in SE Portland.

Detecting the curb strips through Gladstone on a main road through a neighborhood.

Acquired permission to hunt an old home site of a daughter to one of the city's founders! Not on the original build site but house was moved here in the 1920's and demolished in the 1990's.

Got my machine out to show my mom and her boyfriend what all the features were as they have an old gauge with needle type detector from a hawk shop. They wanted to see if I would find anything after they had scanned the entire yard. This video is just some items and probably a couple dollars in clad coins.

I head out to a local school yard near old electric trolley tracks an begin a journey of many visits to find history and some shiny stuff!
