Otis the cat has a healthy respect for the sandhill cranes who have their eye on him at all times. The cranes have no problem letting Otis know when he comes too close!

Watch these Sandhill Cranes taking care of their little newborn during it's first week of life by digging up grubs and feeding them to their baby.

This wild deer returns to this home for some food after surviving the year with a badly broken back leg. What a strong survivor!

Otis and Floki go on a tour of their property that is usually covered in water but has frozen over with a snow fall. Awesome!

Zoe the cat knows how to appreciate the beautiful nature around her. Look where she decides to hang out!

Junior Deerski pays us a special visit. It's hunting season in Wisconsin and we hear shots ring out at the end of the video but the Deerski Family are safe if they stay on our land.

Meet the first of our 3 homestead cats, Otis. He's the newest addition, coming to us in February 2018. He is an AWESOME HUNTER and full of personality. Thank you, Otis, for doing your job well!

Floki cat sure does love play time with his toyz! He shows his skills on the ladder and at the end he also shows us that he will not willingly succumb to mind control techniques.

Floki came to us as a kitten who was very scared/nervous/jittery/cautious. It took him a good 2 years to fully accept us but here he is today, lovin' the attention! You will see him grab my hand as I'm about to step away.

Otis recruits Zoe and Floki for a thorough investigation of an old stump. These cats ain't stupid. If they're investigating then there's somethin' in there!

Floki Cat displays a behavior called Food Caching which is how wild cats save their food for later. Food caching is thought to help preserve any left over food by keeping it cool. It is also a way to protect against other animals dining on their hard won catch. In this case, Floki is hiding his food from Zoe Cat. The Prowlers get locked up at night for their safety and our sanity. Floki has a real problem with this and he's happy when we open the door to let them out of their Cat Palace. Floki and Otis go check out all their areas to make sure nothing is amiss.

Homestead cats Floki and Zoe make a visit to the veterinarian for their routine shots and Floki is a little confused when he comes home.
