'Climate' Agenda to March on Regardless of Trump or Voters: Sen. Coons
The "climate" policies being pursued by the Biden administration and congressional Democrats will continue "regardless" of whether Americans believe in the man-made global-warming hypothesis or elect government officials who want to stop it, declared U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Delaware) in response to a question from The New American magazine's Alex Newman. The exchange took place at the United Nations COP28 Climate Conference in Dubai.

DRAGU: Feds won't ban abortion drug Mifepristone (RU-486)
There will be no federal ban on the abortion drug, mifepristone. The Supreme Court has issued an order that allows the abortion pill, also known as RU-486, to remain available by mail-order. The ruling is the latest in a controversial legal battle over the pill. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito issued dissents to the order. The drug works by first killing the unborn child then by inducing delivery. Erik Baptist, Senior Counsel for the Alliance Defending Freedom -- a group representing plaintiffs in the case, said this makes the drug especially concerning, and dangerous. "Inducing labor and delivery -- that's just an inherently dangerous thing to do in the first place," Baptist said, "and outside of the medical setting without a doctor examining a woman before she takes these drugs to determine even if she's pregnant, confirm her gestational age, or even identify a life-threatening octopic pregnancy which these drugs will not help and treat but can mask the symptoms of and create a life-threatening complication ... is just so dangerous...."

DRAGU: Former Intel Officials Lied to Put Joe Biden in the White House
In testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Michael Morell admitted that current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken organized the effort to create the infamous letter form former Intel officials that called the Hunter Biden laptop revelations Russian Disinformation. That letter, signed by dozens of former intelligence agency officials, including James Clapper, Mike Hayden and Leon Panetta, and John Brennan, said that the Hunter Biden Laptop revelations had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."
It is well-known now that that contention from the intelligence officials was simply untrue. But, the letter had the effect of discouraging discussion of the laptop scandal when it was most likely to scuttle the Biden candidacy. Why did the intelligence officials engage in this now transparent and successful attempt at undermining the integrity of the presidential election?
Even mainstream media have now been forced to report the answer. For example, Newsweek reported:
"Appearing before the House Judiciary Committee Morell said he was contacted by Blinken 'on or before' October 17, 2020, which 'triggered...that intent' leading him to organize the letter, which was provided to Politico.
Morell admitted he acted because 'I wanted him [Biden] to win the election.'
He added that Biden campaign chairman Steve Ricchetti later called to "thank me for putting the statement out.'"
Is it any wonder that conservatives and even many liberal Americans harbor increasing doubts about the legitimacy of the election results that put Joe Biden in to office?

Tech and Ethics
Edward O. Wilson said, "The problem with society is that we have paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions and godlike technology". One of the guardrails against us destroying ourselves is ethics. But what happens when we live in an age that venerates intelligence and not wisdom? An age where people in government are now openly talking about dispensing with moral standards?

Capitalism Must be Smashed to Save "Climate," Activists Say at UN Summit
SHARM EL-SHEIK, EGYPT--The world is ending because of the profit motive and capitalism, and the "system" must be overturned to prevent planetary destruction, explained Lydinyda Nacpil with the Asian Peoples' Movement for Debt and Development in this brief interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman at the United Nations COP27 climate summit. Nacpil organized a protest with dozens of activists inside the UN venue demanding "system change, not climate change." When asked what should replace capitalism and what nations she believes are closest to her vision, she declined to answer.

Feelings Over Facts
In the UN's new document, entitled "Human Development Report 2022," they complain about how emotionalistic language is being used to discuss scientific issues. This is a reversal from trends starting in the mid-19th Century. The reality is that this coincides with the legalization of propaganda in 2012. Propaganda relies on irrational emotion and usually uses the vocabulary of overblown sentiment.

Grassroots Candidate Challenges Wisconsin Bigwig—and May Win!
Grassroots challenger Adam Steen was endorsed by Donald Trump and almost took out Wisconsin House Speaker Vos, who stopped pretending he was interested in election integrity as soon as the primary was over. In this interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman, Steen talks about his surging write-in campaign to oust Speaker Vos and explains why it's so important for Americans to run against establishment incumbents. Because of early voting, most voters did not even know Steen was endorsed by Trump when they voted. But now, he hopes they will go vote as fully informed citizens.

Maine Towns Where Over 100% of Voters Voted, Warn Election Volunteers
There were multiple towns in Maine where more than 100 percent of voters supposedly voted in the 2020 election, warned election-integrity advocates John and Marlene Daley, who represented their state at the Moment of Truth summit hosted by Mike Lindell to expose and stop massive voter fraud. Speaking to The New American magazine's Alex Newman, the Daleys said they used official data to discover the problems. When they raised concerns with officials, non-sensical excuses were invented to cover up the fraud, they said.

More Good News from the Supreme Court
Among the various governmental injunctions in our country, there are laws and regulations. Of the two, laws are the most powerful. These are rules made by the state legislature for a society to follow, and that are in force over long periods of time. A regulation, by contrast, is the interpretation of a law made by a government agency (akin to a President's executive order). Oftentimes, such regulations do not have the force of law. They are "strong suggestions" made by administrative agencies. But, as in all things, if you give an agency an inch, it will take a yard. If the legislature passes a law curtailing the IRS's taxation power, for instance, containing the collection of taxes to 4 basic groups of people, the Internal Revenue Service will create an internal regulation, claiming that they can tax everyone. The Supreme Court just ruled against the EPA in their habit of doing the same thing. What this means is that a precedent is now established to push back against out-of-control deep state bureaucracies who have taken the law into their own hands, unconstitutionally. On the balance sheet, this is a check in the box of freedom: a point scored for rule of law.

Carrying in the Workplace - Interview with Jeff Gonzales
2A for Today’s Zoe Warren spoke briefly at the 2022 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Houston with former Navy SEAL Jeff Gonzales, who is now a firearms and tactics instructor and president of Trident Concepts, LLC.
Gonzales presented a session at the convention on “Carrying in the Workplace: Carefully Considering Your Options.” In this interview, he and Zoe discuss issues related to that, as well as the idea that establishments that prohibit firearms should be held responsible for the safety of those on their premises — both preemptively and after the fact should harm occur.

QUX’s Gavin Wince—Using Tech to Battle Big Tech
At CPAC 2022, The New American’s Alex Newman interviewed Gavin Wince, the president of QUX, an incredible and exciting solution to Big Tech’s banning of conservatives.
According to Wince, “If you don’t control the hardware and you don’t control the software, at any given time you can be removed” from social media. “If we don’t have tech to battle big tech, we’ve already lost.”
The solution? QUX, a new operating system with encrypted messaging, encrypted tv-to-tv communications, a shopping feature, and much more—and, most importantly, absolutely no collection of data.
