When you realise that very little in politics is accidental, and that mostly it is all by design with strategy being decided at the highest levels and the actions seen by the population are just fulfillment, you look at the world in a more sober and definitely less naive light. So let’s look at Afghanistan. Originally the US went in there to ‘hunt down Osama Bin Laden’. When they didn’t find him there and especially after they allegedly killed him in Pakistan, they should have exited Afghanistan … but no, they stayed. The cost of this thing has been in the trillions already and by the time the interest is paid off on the debt by roughly 2050 (debt mainly to the respective Central Banks of the allied countries who participated) the total cost will be closer to USD7 trillion dollars. Now that is a debt on top of the 100’s of billions of dollars in debt that has been created in the name of fighting an illness for which a $2.49 treatment provides both preventative treatment and cure. So what about the withdrawal. It was so sloppy it creates the impression of an air of urgency. It suggests that everyone suddenly had to scramble. That they were taken off guard and had to get out fast. Of course getting out fast meant leaving behind billions of dollars of some of the most advanced military hardware including BlackHawk attack helicopters and more. Much more. Remember also that back when the US were fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan, the Taliban were their allies and they were training them in all areas of military disciplines. So let’s just say it’s not a case of leaving something behind that the locals won’t be able to use. Of course, BlackRock won’t mind. Likewise Vanguard and State Street Corporation. As with all large companies in the world these three asset management firms own Lockheed Martin and Lockheed Martin owns Sikorsky that makes the BlackHawk. When you consider what happened with the GFC and BlackRock’s role and how they benefited, it kind of puts the 1971 federal government USD$250 million (about USD$1.4 billion today) bailout of Lockheed Martin into perspective doesn’t it. Admittedly Larry Fink, CEO and founder of BlackRock was only 19 years old at the time of the Lockheed Martin bailout and he hadn’t yet been instrumental in creating and developing the mortgage backed security instruments that ultimately became the fuel to ignite the GFC. But he learnt well from both history and his mentors that had influence in the 1970’s and earlier. But enough about BlackRock for now. We have a series coming up about them next. Why this Afghanistan withdrawal is a strategic withdrawal but not in the way you think, is because it sets up the next big conflict. Yes I realise the most unimaginative person in the world can probably imagine that one. It’s obvious that when you have a perceived aggressive state and a bunch of people who want to have you believe that they are the root of all evil then you can just see the next war on the horizon. If you watch any of the reporting coming out of Afghanistan, the Taliban appear to be saying the same types of law and order things you’d expect to hear in western societies. They appear to want a peaceful existence. I’m not siding with nor defending any of the things we’ve come to understand of the Taliban nor of Sharia Law and especially what they do to women, physically, psychologically, sexually, generally or any other -ly you can think of. I personally find it a repulsive way of being. I’m simply saying that they are (most likely purposefully and possibly genuinely … not sure on that last one) making all of the reasonable overtures one hardly expects. But back to the primer…. Naturally, the lid will be kept on the powder keg of Battleground Afghanistan until just the right moment. Several companies and governments need to milk this for as long as they can and until the timing is right for the next big thing… BTW … the next war against the Taliban is not the next big thing. The next Afghanistan War will be one of several distractions used at a time when the big push to a single world government is either just starting, or has started and they need a distraction before they play their Ace card. All the bikie gangs should put their differences aside for the time being to unite with truckers and vets and the ordinary everyday hard working Aussies. Everything else is nothing more than brotherly bickering at this stage. Every once in a while brothers in arms have to stop bickering amongst themselves to face a common threat. The reality is that there is a close cooperation between the bikie gangs and law enforcement. It’s similar to the USA and the USSR during the Cold War or like the Biden Administration and China now … okay … maybe not as incestuous as the Biden Administration together with the Biden Crime Family and China respectively the Chinese Communist Party, but you get the picture. It’s on a different scale, but the principle is the same. Nonetheless, setting aside differences to fight a common enemy is as old as time. You can agree that bickering over turf and who did what to whom is temporarily less important than it is important to stand for what is right. During The Crusades the Anglos, Celts, Barbarians, Romans, Goths, Norsemen etc. all put their differences aside to fight back a common enemy. During those days enemies become brothers. You know you do it already with law enforcement but it is now time to change sides. Of the law enforcement operatives you collaborate with already, you know the greater majority to be corrupt. It’s how you get leverage over them. The only leverage they have over you is they can use the law and their powers under the law to (mock) raid you anytime they want and then the lawyers and judges get a pay day as well through the backend of how the system works. History has shown that tyranny is always defeated. If you continue to stand with your corrupt law enforcement connections, instead of with the people of Australia, when the police turn on you with full force to enact some of their final phases of this oppressive regime, there will be no sympathy from the people. They will most likely stand in line to applaud in the same way they are lining up like sheep to the slaughter to be jabbed with experimental biological agents. Stand and be the strong people of the image you project and support the people from whose tables you feed (we are all interconnected) instead of standing for and supporting whatever will line your pockets like the politicians and bureaucrats do. Regime change is coming in Australia. It is coming to all freedom loving nations around the world. Get on the right side of history now. Become champions of the people, champions of freedom and help those less organised, less strong, less capable than you to fight for what are their inalienable rights. Here is some more about Simon. His education is a Bachelor of Applied Science in physics and geology, his PhD was in Mining Engineering, done at the JKMRC, graduating in 2006. Thesis title: Analysis of Fines Generated in Blasting. Most of his work experience is from the Australian mining industry. Simon studied and worked for the JKMRC (Sustainable Minerals Institute) for 18 years, where he was involved in several high profile industry funded research programs. Simon worked in the private sector in an EPCM company called Ausenco in their Technical Solutions division, servicing mining corporate clients, where geometallurgy was used in support for a Pre-Feasibility Study. Simon worked in Belgium for 2 years as a Senior Research Officer in the GeMMe Dept of Géoressources Minérales & Imagerie Géolgique at the University of Liege. Areas of interest was recycling of industrial waste, sorting, hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy. His role was also to develop department capability in electrodynamic fragmentation using a Selfrag EDF instrument. Simon was required to develop alliances and partnerships between the GeMMe department and stakeholder groups across Europe (other universities, independent R&D groups, private sector corporations, EU government entities). A series of research proposals were written and submitted to H2020 and EIT KIC. His areas of technical interest are rock & material characterization, comminution, blasting, electrical dynamic fragmentation, process engineering separation, material science, and multi-phase data analysis of geometallurgical data sets and modelling the mining process as a dynamic system. Despite what the IMF says on their website, the SDR’s ARE a currency. A currency is defined as a system for a medium of exchange. Money is defined as a medium of exchange but it is not the only one. For all intents and purposes SDR’s are a currency and they are the world’s first global single currency. Furthermore they have been around since 1969 to give you an idea about how long this has been coming. The collapse of Bretton Woods in 1973 was a bit of a hiccup for them…. or was it … nonetheless, as history shows, once a government has enacted something neither they nor their elite paymasters are going to give it back easily so they kept the SDR’s. Now they are going to use them to pay each other interest and bonuses, shift money between their entities and bankrupt the entire system to push through The Great Reset. One of tenets of the The Great Reset is the forgiveness of personal debt and as a trade off, the renunciation of personal assets. If you're not sure what that means, it means that you no longer own anything. Not your house, your car and a lot more that I won't go into here, because if you don't understand that bit yet, you'll probably just label me crazy and move on in a comfortable bubble. However, what if it doesn't stop at personal debt? What if forgiveness of sovereign debt (country national debt) is the next step? Or maybe two steps away? Look around the world. You have countries doing or benefitting from other countries' quantitative easing like there is no tomorrow. If you're not up to speed with what Quantitative Easing is, check out Episode 08 of MainUNStream, which I did together with Associate Professor Simon Michaux on the fragility of the financial system and quantitative easing. How are they going to pay that back? Oh taxes of course. But with Universal Basic Income and no personal assets the tax base is severely reduced. Max is an economist with a PhD in the History of Economic Thought in which he peels back economic theory's relation to the history of ideas. His views on the economy at both the macro and micro level prompt you to think more consciously and critically about the world you see around you. Max is also a published author since 1990 and his book "Carl Menger And The Origins Of Austrian Economics" is being republished later this year. That was at least his former life that creates an interesting background for our talk. These days Max helps professional services clients create content the speaks to their clients, literally, through video. Max speaks four languages and has lived in several countries throughout his career. On this episode of MainUnStream we cover more than any one conversation should handle including: - Generational moral debt and who should pay it, - Smartphones, technology and the necessities of or for life, - The younger generation and their preparedness - Training and retraining in the context of society's needs, and - The pro and cons of a couple of different political systems As said more than one conversation should handle so we'll have to ask Max to come back at least once more and I suspect several times to dive deeper into each of these topics.
