On today's powerful episode we welcome a gentleman that I've gotten to know over the years who is the real deal. He's a pastor of Influence Church out there in Orange County area in California. He also is an author, and he's got a brand new book out called "It's Midnight In America". His name is Pastor Phil Hotsenpiller and we talk about his book that fearlessly uncovers the alarming slumber within the church, drawing parallels to the biblical narrative of Samson. Just as Samson unknowingly lost his power, the American church finds itself in a similar state, unaware of its diminished influence and complacent in the face of critical challenges. Through this book, readers will be awakened to the urgent need for revival and transformation.

Today we stand at a crucial juncture, a moment that demands our utmost attention and spiritual discernment. The devil, our adversary, has cunningly laid out a buffet of spiritual "junk food"—distractions, falsehoods, and trivial pursuits—that sap our strength, dilute our devotion, and divert our gaze from the eternal to the ephemeral.
1. Hebrews 5:12-14 (NKJV): "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."
2. Matthew 4:4 (NKJV): "But He answered and said, 'It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’"
3. Ephesians 6:17 (NKJV): "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;"
4. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV): "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
5. 1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV): "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
It is here, in the presence of God and in the pages of His Word, that we find the strength, wisdom, and sustenance to face whatever lies ahead. let us lay off the junk food, beloved, and let us feast on the real meat of the Word. Amen.

Tonight we gather in the presence of the Lord today to address a critical aspect of our walk with Christ—closing the wrong doors.
1. Revelation 3:7-8 (NKJV):
"‘And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.’”
2. 2 Timothy 2:22 (NKJV):
"Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
3. James 4:7 (NKJV):
"Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
4. Ephesians 4:27 (NKJV):
"nor give place to the devil."
5. Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV):
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Closing the wrong doors means consciously choosing the narrow gate, despite its difficulty and the fewer numbers who choose it. The theological depth here is immense; our salvation and sanctification are worked out as we choose, again and again, the narrow way of Christ over the broad ways of the world.

Today, we're exploring the profound moments in Scripture where human ability fades, and divine strength shines brightly. It's at the end of our rope that we find the beginning of God's power.
"The Miracle at Cana"
Scripture: John 2:1-11 (NKJV)"On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, 'They have no wine.' Jesus said to her, 'Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.' His mother said to the servants, 'Whatever He says to you, do it.' Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, 'Fill the waterpots with water.' And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, 'Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.' And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, 'Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!' This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him."
"Gideon's Army of 300"
Judges 7:1-22 (NKJV)"Then Jerubbaal (that is, Gideon) and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the Well of Harod, so that the camp of the Midianites was on the north side of them by the hill of Moreh in the valley. And the Lord said to Gideon, 'The people who are with you are too many for Me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel claim glory for itself against Me, saying, "My own hand has saved me." Now therefore, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, "Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn and depart at once from Mount Gilead."' And twenty-two thousand of the people returned, and ten thousand remained. [...] The Lord said to Gideon, 'By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people go, every man to his place.' [...] And they stood every man in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled."

Obedience holds a central place in our Christian faith for several reasons, touching on the very essence of what it means to live a life aligned with the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.
Samuel 15:22: "But Samuel replied: 'Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.'"
1 Samuel 15:23: "Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king"
Genesis 22:1-18: "Some time later God testedAbraham. He said to him, “Abraham!”“Here I am,”he replied.2Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah.Sacrifice him there as a burnt offeringon a mountain I will show you.”3Early the next morningAbraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about.4On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.5He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”6Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together,7Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lambfor the burnt offering?”8Abraham answered, “God himself will providethe lambfor the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.9When they reached the place God had told him about,Abraham built an altarthere and arranged the woodon it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar,on top of the wood.10Then he reached out his hand and took the knifeto slay his son.11But the angel of theLordcalled out to him from heaven,“Abraham! Abraham!”“Here I am,”he replied.12“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God,because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”13Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram[a]caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.14So Abraham calledthat place TheLordWill Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of theLordit will be provided.”15The angel of theLordcalled to Abraham from heavena second time16and said, “I swear by myself, declares theLord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,17I will surely bless youand make your descendantsas numerous as the stars in the skyand as the sand on the seashore.Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,18and through your offspring[b]all nations on earth will be blessed,[c]because you have obeyed me.”
Jonah 3:1-10: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.”3Jonah obeyed the word of theLordand went to Nineveh. Now Nineveh was a very large city; it took three days to go through it.4Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming,“Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.”5The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.6When Jonah’s warning reached the king of Nineveh, he rose from his throne, took off his royal robes, covered himself with sackcloth and sat down in the dust.7This is the proclamation he issued in Nineveh:“By the decree of the king and his nobles:Do not let people or animals, herds or flocks, taste anything; do not let them eat or drink.8But let people and animals be covered with sackcloth. Let everyone callurgently on God. Let them give uptheir evil waysand their violence.9Who knows?God may yet relentand with compassion turnfrom his fierce angerso that we will not perish.”10When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relentedand did not bring on them the destructionhe had threatened."
Luke 22:42: "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

Is "Once Saved Always Saved" Biblical? • The Todd Coconato Radio Show
Website: www.PastorTodd.org

Here are the full scriptures referenced in the argument against the "once saved, always saved" doctrine:
Hebrews 6:4-6 (ESV): "For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt."
2 Peter 2:20-22 (ESV): "For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. What the true proverb says has happened to them: 'The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.'"
Matthew 24:13 (ESV): "But the one who endures to the end will be saved."
Matthew 13:18-23 (ESV): "Hear then the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty."
James 2:14-26 (ESV): "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and filled,' without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, 'You have faith and I have works.' Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness'—and he was called a friend of God. You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead."
Galatians 5:19-21 (ESV): "Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Hebrews 12:7-11 (ESV): "It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?

In Christian eschatology, the "end times" refer to a period preceding the second coming of Christ. It's believed that during this time, believers will face unprecedented trials and challenges, testing their faith like never before. This concept is based on various biblical passages and themes.
Here are ten scriptures from the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible that emphasize standing firm in faith and not backing down in the face of enemy attacks or discouragement:
1. **Ephesians 6:13** - "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
2. **1 Corinthians 16:13** - "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong."
3. **James 4:7** - "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
4. **1 Peter 5:8-9** - "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith..."
5. **Isaiah 54:17** - "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord."
6. **2 Timothy 1:7** - "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
7. **Joshua 1:9** - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
8. **Psalm 18:39** - "For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me."
9. **Philippians 4:13** - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
10. **Psalm 44:5** - "Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us."
Without faith, we can’t please God.

Complete Victory: The Triumph of Easter Sunday • Sunday Service
Complete Victory: The Triumph of Easter Sunday • Sunday Service
Welcome to Resurrection Day 2024 Sunday service—a day marked by joy, reflection,
and the profound truth of our faith.
Today, we gather to commemorate the story of the cross, the pivotal moment in history
where complete victory was achieved, not by swords and might, but through sacrifice
and love.
"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing"
Luke 23:34 (NKJV)
"As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ Then “‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!”
LUKE 23:26-30 (NKJV)
"...and to the hills, “Cover us!”’ For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?” Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots."
LUKE 23:31-34 (NKJV)
The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.” The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.” There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
LUKE 23:35-39 (NKJV)
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[d]” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
LUKE 23:40-43 (NKJV)
It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things."
LUKE 23:44-49 (NKJV)
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits."
1 Peter 3:18-19 (NKJV)
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said"
Matthew 28:6 (NKJV)
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)
"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (NKJV)
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
John 16:33 (NKJV)
"But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere."
2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV)
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Ephesians 6:10-12 (NKJV)
