I moved from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Entebbe, Uganda on July 23, 2023 to be with Sharon, a Ugandan citizen and the woman I love. We married two weeks later. We recently did our first Live on TikTok together to talk about my experiences so far, including our two weddings (one a civil marriage and the other a traditional African wedding), dancing in church, and riding boda-bodas (motorcycles) as the primary means to get around.
