Odesa, Ukraine located in Southern Ukraine is right next to the Black Sea. A city and resort that has been a favourite of Ukrainians and those from the East to get some needed R&R for decades. A city I've personally spent much time in over the last 10 years, and a city I've seen change before the Russia 2022 Invasion and since that invasion. I found myself back in Ukraine (I was a Resident when Putin invaded) as I had friends that needed help here. This video is some brief clips of some of my time spent in Odesa Ukraine during Summer 2023 - each night I was there the Russians attacked Odesa or relatively nearby. Those living with this everyday, never asked for this, and most can't pack up and leave and why should they? This is their home and their country and they rightly love it. The illegal occupation of Ukraine continues and with each day that passes Ukrainians are losing their lives, losing their homes, their livelihoods and possibly being permanently displaced forever. Nations around the world continue to provide humanitarian aid and the supply of arms to Ukraine but until we actually stand up to the Dictator Putin this war will likely ravage on. I went once again to the Russian Embassy to meet the Russians who are against the illegal invasion of Ukraine. Being outside Ukraine during this time has left me feeling helpless so I try my best to speak out for my friends who can't leave Ukraine in this time of nightmares. I recently found myself trying to understand Finnish Sauna Culture while staying in a snow cabin in the Lakelands of Central Finland at a resort called Revontuli. Revontuli is where people go when they want to experience the Northern Lights and an escape from the stresses of the big city. "Revontuli" is the Finnish word for "Northern lights". While I was exploring the Hankasalmi region where Revontuli is I got to explore an array of different types of Sauna and tried my best to understand Finnish Sauna culture while an ice storm tried its best to make seeing the Northern Lights impossible. Jyväskylä is a city in the western part of the Finnish Lakelands. It is located about 150 km northeast of Tampere, the third-largest city in Finland; and about 270 km north of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Famous for hosting the world rally championships and attracting a large student population to its University. I took in the city while it was suffering under the poorly thought out idea of curfews.
