While the conflict in Ukraine heats up, Western media have been pushing out stories that have no bearing on reality. 36,000 Ukrainian women are said to be fighting on the front lines. They are not. The Ukrainian Katniss posing for Instagram with an airsoft pistol notwithstanding, it is almost exclusively men who are doing the fighting, and the dying, as always in real armed conflicts. We don’t often get to witness a turning point in history but the Russian invasion of Ukraine signals the end of the eastward expansion of NATO. Therewith, the end of the United States Empire is in sight, for empires only survive as long as they can keep expanding. This historic event carries the same weight as the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest when Germanic tribes halted the Roman Empire's northward expansion. The war raging between Russia and Ukraine informs us that wars are still fought in conventional ways, with boots on the ground, and missiles in the air. But this war was not born out a primitive need for territory. Russia has plenty of land to feed its many peoples. Russians, the only white tribe historically excluded from the West, are fighting for a greater cause. After decades of perceived humiliations, they are fighting for dignity and recognition.

"Speak softly and carry a big stick," said Winston Churchill. Did American powers really drop atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, ushering in the age of atomic war and nuclear stockpiles? Or did the Americans use conventional firebombs instead, fooling the whole world? According to the 1995 book by Seymour Lipset and Earl Raab, "Jews and the New American Scene" (Harvard University Press), Ashkenazi-Americans on average earn twice as much income as non-Ashkenazi. But the authors don't explain why. The answer is: For over 5,000 years, the Jews and their ancestors have been urban-centric peoples. Today, Ashkenazi-American Jews are more likely to live in the big U.S. cities. They find better education and job opportunities there, and they have adapted for city life both culturally and genetically. In times of economic collapse, the rich and powerful are overcome by a panic response. They will tighten the belts of society and begin cutting away middle-class fat. Today is the twentieth anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City. Many born since that day will only know of the event as historical. Under extreme anxiety, fear, or stress, people’s minds can detach themselves from their bodies. But when we permanently dissociate from ourselves and from reality, we are suffering from Leftism, or Dissociative Politics.

The philosopher Bertrand Russell argued it was religious people’s job to prove the existence of God rather than shifting the burden of disproof to others. That burden should be carried by people who make the unfalsifiable claim. But it turns out that Russell’s reasoning itself contained an unfalsifiable claim for which no proof has ever been submitted, namely the assumption of materialism.

According to the dogma of materialism, everything in existence in the world must be matter in motion, progressing itself toward some economic utopia. It is the belief in Universal Darwinism, a mechanism of evolution and selection that operates on the (sub)atomic level. It is a concept of reality that denies the need for a mind, a consciousness, a soul, a free will, or a God. And this belief is the foundation for what we call modern science. The scientific worldview is neither scientific nor a view of the world. It is a myopic view of economics that limits scientific research to the study of matter in motion.
