The Master Mystery part H
The Master Mystery part H is damaged, which is a true pity. Houdini is captured (again), tied up & thrown in the river -- which he escapes. Later, he does his famous packing crate escape -- but we see him put *into* the crate, but sadly the escape itself is lost footage. After several more escapes & recaptures (lost footage, unfortunately) he's tied into the "chair of death" - the electric chair.

Battling Butler
Battling Butler (1926) starring Buster Keaton, Sally O’Neil, Francis McDonald
Buster Keaton remarked that Battling Butler was his favorite of all his films. Based on a Broadway play, the story revolves around a case of mistaken identity between two Alfred Butlers. One is an effete millionaire (Keaton), the other the heavyweight champion of the world (Francis McDonald). Coincidence brings them to the same backwoods Kentucky neighborhood, where Keaton finds love with a mountain girl. But not before antagonizing Butler-the-brute into a Madison Square Garden grudge match.

The Master Mystery part 4 - Houdini
Rampaging robot chases the heroine! Houdini escapes from a straitjacket!
"The Master Mystery stars Harry Houdini as Justice Department agent Quentin Locke, who is investigating a powerful cartel that’s protected by a “menacing” robot (referred to in the film as “the Automaton‘); the cartel is using a gas weapon called “the Madagascar Madness” — and, given that this is an old-time silent film serial, there’s a cliffhanger ending at the end of each chapter. And, since this is a Houdini film, there’s plenty of escape artistry to get out of them."
