Whole Bible Prophecy: The Rapture (no verse music)
This is the same video as our other popular video of almost the same name (Whole Bible Prophecy: The Rapture https://rumble.com/v1gq571-whole-bible-prophecy-the-rapture.html) without the music for the verse readings. We had several people suggest that the music was too loud (particularly my wife). So my wife suggested uploading another video without the music. Below is the description from the other video too.
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com shows what the Bible actually says about the Christian doctrine of the Rapture.
There's not a lot of quibbling over the fact of the Rapture in the Word, but there is quite a bit over the timing. Bruce used to be a solid dispensationalist. He taught and defended a pre-tribulation rapture quite well. But then he read the Bible more thoroughly, without the dispensational filter, and discovered something very different (which you will too if you read the Word and do what it says).
The Bible doesn't talk a lot about the Rapture, but it says lots and lots about the Resurrection (and the timing). The Rapture, without a doubt, is appended to the Resurrection. So if we can figure out the timing of the Resurrection, then the timing of the Rapture is a piece of cake.
Tony's book 'Rapture or Resurrection: Which Should We Be Looking For?,' mentioned in the video, can be found on Amazon at https://a.co/d/i7xp6h7 if you'd like to take a look at it.
A video of the '70's song we mention, 'I Wish We'd All Been Ready' by Larry Norman can be viewed at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyOjmhqDGkM
It's a pretty dopey song (biblically speaking), and Larry apparently is a pretty dopey example of Christianity, as are the people behind the Left Behind series of books, but we guess they're trying. Sort of.

Point by Point through "Freedom from Sabbath Keeping" by Ray Comfort
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com goes point by biblical point through an article by Ray Comfort titled 'Freedom From Sabbath Keeping.' Mr. Comfort does a lot of good work in some areas, but in this one he doesn't do so well.
His article is filled with so many typical church teaching half-truths, unsupported statements, misunderstandings, logical fallacies, biblically incorrect teachings, and misleading statements that it serves as an excellent example of what we have been trying to correct all these years.
Ray's article is only a few pages long and Bruce's comments are pretty short too. There is more that can be said on the subject of freedom from Sabbath keeping but this covers most of the highlights.

Head Coverings and Bible Study
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com takes extra time to go through the issue of head coverings along with some Bible Study techniques because there is so much misinformation and authority abuse involved.
It's sad that this teaching takes up so much of believer's time. The article on which this video is based http://www.wholebible.com/head_coveri... is one of the top ten pages visited on our site. Why? Why does this subject generate so much passion, aggravation, splitting, and false teaching? There is so much else we need to learn and practice in His Word without throwing something in there that is only mentioned vaguely in one small section.
In this video (and the article) Bruce uses some of the concepts of Bible Study to look at 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Since we've already been through this ourselves, we can also tell you that a head covering as proponents practice it is simply not there. There. Now the people with minds already made up and a cloth on their heads can move on to another video that will confirm what they already believe. The rest of us can take some time to look at the subject objectively and arrive at the truth.

Whole Bible Applications: Modesty
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com lays out another application of whole Bible Christianity, this one concerning modesty.
We frequently run across articles or videos preaching modesty. Usually the message is directed at women, and amounts to finger pointing about the way they dress. But what does the Bible actually say about modesty? Are there specific guidelines about skirts versus pants, or hemlines, or head coverings? We think not, and uncover the biblical reasons for what we think in this video.
We also look at the best way to bring about modesty, from a biblical standpoint. We don't think preaching about the amount of exposed skin really covers the issue very well. The problem is not outside. The problem is inside, and the only power that will make a change is the Word of God. We think we should be concerned about modesty, of course, but the way to encourage it is not by thundering condemnation from the pulpit. We encourage it by living the Word, and teaching the Word.

Whole Bible Applications: Sex
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com takes on a difficult subject of applications from the Bible in the area of sex.
This subject always gets people's attention, doesn't it? God's Word tells us that sex is for a man and a woman in a marriage. There is no other place for it, even though perverse people keep pushing the envelope.
Some of the sex laws overlap with clean and unclean. Most of these are in Leviticus 15 and our video Whole Bible Applications: Clean and Unclean and can be followed with great profit. As I've said before, we don't always know the connection between laws and consequences, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. It also doesn't mean that consequences are the only reason for the law.
Rules concerning sex are some of the clearest examples of our stupidity. How far has the person drifted from God who needs a law about sex with animals? (Leviticus 18:23.) What soul is so cut off from the light of God that it gives itself over to sex with the same gender? (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1.)
Perverse acts arise from lightless depths of hatred for God and all He is or has created. It is very clear that people who practice perversion are driven by hatred to the extent they want to destroy God, starting with His Word. In the process, they destroy other people in addition to themselves. If we are in the light as He is in the light, hate cannot continue.
This is not an all-inclusive guide to sex. I'm just covering some of the rules that directly bear on it. Many other "laws" come to bear also, such as loving others as God has loved us and love others as you do yourself. As far as I know there isn't any action prohibited between two married people of opposite gender as long as parts go together as they are designed to go together. Sensitivity and compassion should be the rule for figuring out what's an acceptable activity and what is not.
Sex is the physical expression of a spiritual connection. It isn't just physical. It is only right and fulfilling when it is done with God. Where two people are gathered together, He is there in the midst. It is like the two angels over the Ark of the Covenant with wings touching and God speaking from between them. That's why sex outside of the way He designed things induces guilt and hateful feelings. When our spirits are wrong, so is sex. When God isn't involved, sex is worse than physical injury because the soul itself is burned or seared.
Good sex is not an end in itself. It is just a stronger connection point coming out of daily devotion to each other. It is necessary in some ways because our bodies are designed for it, but it's not just the body that's involved. It involves the heart and soul too. It is necessary for the soul as well as the body.

Whole Bible Applications: Clean and Unclean
One of the things that infuriated God about Israel was the failure of her priests to teach His Word properly. Especially the differences between clean and unclean.
26"Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. (Ezekiel 22:26 NASB95)
It's fashionable in the church nowadays to ignore the differences between clean and unclean also. Most teach the "cosmic eraser" of Jesus - that we can do pretty much anything we want because Jesus cleans everything. This is biblically false. Not the idea that Jesus cleans, but that believers don't still have to pay attention to all of God's Words, especially those on clean and unclean.
Jesus eliminated the penalty for disobedience to God's Laws (death) but that does not mean God eliminated the Law. We still wash our hands before we prepare food. Ignorance is not bliss.
Another huge point is the fact that WE HAVE TO BE TOLD WHAT IT IS. We don't naturally know the difference between clean and unclean. If clean was a snake it could bite us on the nose and we still would have a hard time figuring it out. Like Moses in Exodus 3:5, God has to inform us of something as simple as taking off our shoes when on holy ground. We are supposed to have a knowledge of good and evil (from eating of the wrong tree), yet we have to be commanded to do the simplest things.
15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work. (Titus 1:15-16 ESV)
It is one thing to have His blood and quite another to wallow in filth again, physically or spiritually. If we presume on God's grace by ignoring His instructions, we can't just keep going back and taking a bath in the Blood. This is worse than lip service (Hebrews 10:26-30). We can be clean and yet still have to be cleansed every now and again, much like the washing of the feet Jesus did for the disciples (John 13:5-15). Here's an interesting side question for those who think everything has been declared 'clean.' Why in Revelation 18:2 is fallen Babylon said to be the dwelling place of "demons and a prison of every unclean spirit" and "every unclean and hateful bird?" Obviously because clean and unclean doesn't get dismissed just so some can eat their pork and shellfish.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. (Psalm 19:9 NASB.)

Whole Bible Instruction: Read the Word, Do the Word
Bruce S. Bertram, the guy with no initials from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com scores again talking about the application of the Word to daily living. God gives us easy guidelines in His Word, and Bruce starts on numbers one and two of 12 in this video. Simply put, a whole Bible walk with God starts with reading and doing. Seems like it should be more complicated, but all we really need to do is read and heed.

Suicide Silence
If you don't like honest talk about the increase of suicide and some of the causes then you might want to skip this video. Contains some personal testimony and experience with the connections between divorce, homosexuality, and the silence surrounding them. Includes stories of a friend and a relative who both took their own lives. I don't think it is a coincidence that the rise in depression and suicides is in proportion to the rejection of God in society and God's Law in the church. But Christians are not allowed to say that divorce or homosexuality increase the chances of suicide (or are generally destructive period), or warn people who participate in such behavior of what is likely to happen to them. Our silence allows people to fall into tar pits of sin and we don't even mark the trail as hazardous. To be politically correct is to be practically useless.
One survey says divorced people are three times more likely to die from suicide as married people (National Institute for Healthcare Research). Children of divorce are more at risk for depression and other behavior problems (such as homosexuality) because they often blame themselves for the breakup or they just don't have the stability that two parents (of opposite gender) bring. Homosexual men are six times more likely to attempt suicide than straight men (highest of any group). These facts people will dismiss as coincidence. We can't talk about it. We don't like the fact that there are connections between selfishness, divorce, homosexuality, depression and suicide. We don't want to be reminded that our choices have consequences, which is at the heart of our silence, and silencing others. We're not allowed to explore the potential causes in order to stop the self-slaughter. Many would rather the depressed person just off themselves and be permanently quiet. They are making too much noise. However, I for one am taking the duct tape off and speaking out.
P.S. When I titled this video/article, I did not know there was a rock band in California somewhere that used this name.

Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy and Whole Bible Prophecy: Horror and Hope are now available on Amazon.
Take a look at the testing of Jesus with Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com. He wasn't supposed to pass. But He passed in ways that the rabbis were not prepared for. He also passed in ways that the church has misinterpreted over and over again. The rabbis screwed up His teachings, and the church does so in the exact same ways. It's not that hard to get it right. All we have to do is use the whole Bible and stay consistent with His ways.

A Whole Faith: Six Assumptions About Bible Interpretation
Our books Whole Bible Christianity, Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy and Whole Bible Prophecy: Horror and Hope are now available on Amazon.
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and Http://www.wholebible.com gives more biblical insight from the last part of chapter four in the book Whole Bible Christianity. There are six assumptions behind and driving the whole Bible Christian's view of Bible interpretation. One is that it is the highest authority. We might learn from other writings too, but only one has authority. Two is that it reveals God's will and plan, it doesn't conceal. Three is that it is clear and easy to understand, if we do it as well as read it. Four is that it means what He intends. This is literal interpretation at it's best. Five is that the Bible explains the Bible. If we get stuck on meaning, we can look at other examples to figure it out because God keeps repeating Himself over and over. The sixth is that it requires a response. We don't get to sit there with our thumb in our, um, ear and not do anything about it. It will bring us closer to God or our pride will drive us away. The Bible can be trusted because the canon of the Law is the basis for all of the writings. None of the books repudiate the Law, all teachers in the Bible from Noah down to John take it as absolute truth, teach it without spiritualizing every word, and assume it to be true. Besides, God repeats Himself so often (because we are so hard hearted) that there is no mistaking what He requires of men.

A Whole Body: The Nicolaitans
Our book, "Nicolaitan: Lords of Hypocrisy," exploring this issue further, is on Amazon. You can also order it from almost any bookstore (they probably don't stock it). There's also a Kindle version and an audio book (about 5 hours long). In the book we expand on the ideas presented in this video and our other book with lots of Scriptural connections. Check it out! https://www.amazon.com/Nicolaitan-Hyp...
Our other books Whole Bible Christianity and Whole Bible Prophecy are also available on Amazon.
Like the Nicolaitan book you can order these both at almost any bookstore, or you can get them in Kindle and Audiobook formats!
We're not sure of the meaning of Nicolaitan. It is mentioned only twice in Scripture, both in Revelation 2. We know that nico = conquer and laites = lay people, so the literal meaning is to rule over lay people. We tend to think that Nicolaitans were only in existence long ago, but sadly they have a large presence in the church even now. Who are these people? Bruce Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and www.wholebible.com lets you in on the biblical methods of detection and gives encouragement for those who feel condemned by them.

Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com made this video to help believers understand salvation. There are so many false definitions going around, and some who wear the Name imply that following all of the Word (including the Law) is not a "salvation issue." A false teaching has arisen in recent decades that pictures salvation as merely "believing in Jesus." Well, demons believe, and tremble, yet are not saved. So what does it mean to be saved?

Christian Faith and Practice Through Passover
A whole Bible Christian view of Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits for believers from Bruce S. Bertram of http://www.wholebible.com and The Word of God Ministries. We review the difference between tradition and biblical guidelines, and encourage practice of this appointed time with Jesus by every believer. The Bible instructions are simple and easy to understand, when the teachings of men are cleared away and the Bible is allowed to speak for itself. We encourage believers to start somewhere and not to be afraid of doing something because of tradition.
We also discuss calendars and give our opinions on timing (hint: it's what's in the Bible that is important). We use the examples of King Josiah and King Hezekiah as a guide for our own observance, remembering Jesus as our Passover lamb while having a nice lamb barbecue. We also talk about the place of the Temple and the "place where (He) puts His name."

Christian Faith and Practice Through The Mark

Atheism: The Seinfeld of Religions
Bruce S. Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com presents a short video on Atheism as a religion. Better yet, the Seinfeld of Religions, because it's "all about nothing." We have comparisons on giving, deaths in war, what's good in Christianity compared to the accomplishments of atheism, and etc.
This video was made for Christians and other truly open-minded people. We want to help expose atheism for what it is - a morally bankrupt religion about nothing. There is nothing to it, nothing in it, and nothing worth trading all of what God gives believers for it. The reality is that atheists are full of hate for God, and disguise the hate with a whitewash of devotion to the god of science and self. The original hater and atheist (sometimes called Lucifer or the deceiver) tried to sell this "you can be as God" lie way back when and started us down this road of misery, pain, suffering, and death. Don't fall for it again. Atheism is in fact another word for hate.
You'll notice there are gaps in the comments, where it looks like a response is given to a non-existent query or statement. This is because comments have been deleted (usually by the atheist). When we first posted this video, we were hit with a surge of atheists commenting. All of the dislikes came at that time, all from atheists. Which means of course that the video is right on track. We could see that we must have been the subject of discussion boards somewhere, and several atheists took it upon themselves to attack. Probably there are roving packs of atheists on the web just looking to jump Christians any time something against atheism is posted. Just so you know.

A Whole Bible Look At: Romans 13 thru 16
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com illustrates the many ways that the church has departed from what the Bible actually says in the fourth and final part of our Romans video commentary series. You are going to be surprised at the simplicity and ease of understanding you gain from the Bible with the few simple observations here. We present Romans in much the same way the original recipients would have. It was addressed to average believers, and they would have read it straight through many times. Later they might have debated specific points in small groups, but overall the letter was not a mystery to them. It shouldn't be to modern believers either.
Along the way we point you to a number of our other videos to explain certain words and concepts. Not because the book itself is so hard to understand, but because much of the meaning has been obscured by church tradition and teachings of men.
As with our other commentary videos, below is a list of time marks that are links to specific chapters and verses so later you can skip to certain parts for a refresher if you need it. Thank you for watching and subscribing, and may the Father continue to bless your studies.

A Whole Bible Look At: Romans 9 thru 12
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com lays out the third part of his series on Romans. This one on chapters 9 through 12. Links to specific verses and videos are below.
You probably haven't quite heard Romans this way. We are going through it like we would've had we been the original recipients. The original audience would not have just read three verses at a time, talked about them for an hour, and taken a whole year to go through the letter. No. They would've eagerly devoured every word right straight till the end. Then they would've read it again. And again. Then they might've discussed parts in small groups over dinner.
The Romans were also not a bunch of theologians. They were just regular joes like you and me, using the tools they had (the Old Testament and maybe a couple other letters) along with perhaps some input from their Jewish brothers. In short, anyone can understand Paul's letter(s). All they had to do was read it and do it.
What makes it hard to understand is all the extra-biblical church or synagogue traditions that overlay the plain meaning of the Word. Cut through that malarkey, read it, and do it, and suddenly the meaning jumps right out there. But you knew that, didn't you?

A Whole Bible Look At: Galatians
Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com gives a one-hour tour of the book of Galatians. Many people use this book to throw out God's Law. Happily for believers, Paul teaches no such thing. The subject of the book is stated very clearly. The Law is not in question. Three times Paul tells us his meaning very plainly: 2:16; 3:11; and 5:4. He is talking about the difference between justification by works and justification by faith. The misuse of the law for earning merit is discussed, but not throwing out the Law.

A Whole Bible Look at Romans 5 thru 8
Second in a series of four videos on the whole book of Romans, Bruce S. Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com takes a whole Bible look at chapters 5 through 8 with an eye toward explaining the way Paul looks at the Law of Moses.
Far from being a worn out, old way of doing things, that God didn't mean in the first place, Paul presents the Law in very positive terms. He points the way to the manner of living the Law with love and the Spirit. There are many people who misunderstand the book, and try to use it to get rid of the Law, which man has been trying to do since the Garden. Others, many in the Messianic movement, cannot adequately explain the Law in context with teachings such as these, which usually leads to throwing the New Testament away. We think that Paul's teachings line up very well with the rest of the Word, if they are properly understood in the context of that Word.

A Whole Bible Look at Romans 1 thru 4
The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com presents Bruce S. Bertram with a Whole Bible look at the Book of Romans, chapters 1 through 4. Many believers who have discovered that all of the Bible (including the Law) is for all His people are troubled by some of Paul's writings. It appears that Paul wrote some contradictory ideas concerning the Law compared with other parts of Scripture. Many so-called Christians think that Paul converted to Christianity and immediately began changing Words that could not be changed. Partly this is from deliberate misinterpretation and application.
Paul's views and God's views of the Law are identical. So we are putting together some commentary/preaching type videos explaining how Paul is not so different from our Father. His teachings have just been so layered up with all sorts of tradition and errant theology that it makes them hard to see clearly. If we just read Paul's words the way they were supposed to be read (the plain meaning), interpretation problems will clear right up. We hope these videos will help clear things up for you too.
This video covers Romans chapters one through four. Below is a list of time marks (that are hyperlinks) with associated verses in case you want to skip to a certain point. There are three other videos covering the rest of Romans with four chapters in each video. Also we have links to other videos explaining certain concepts further.

A Whole Bible Look at Revelation 1, 2, & 3: The Empire Strikes Back
In this video Bruce Bertram from The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com gives his opinion answering the question: Why did Jesus pick these seven congregations for specific letters out of all the others at the time?
The answer may lie in their proximity to Constantinople and the taking over of Christianity by the emperor Constantine to make it the state religion. The (satanic) empire strikes back at believers. But instead of defeating believers, Rome just co-opted the movement for a time. The church was born; believers lost even though they appeared to have won, but the rebellion of believers continues. The church sells out, the Nicolaitans take over, but the battle of the Kingdom continues and we will ultimately win if we just persevere in our testimony of Jesus and obedience to the Word.

A Whole Bible Look at Revelation 1,2 & 3: The Parting of the Ways
Bruce Bertram of The Word of God Ministries and http://www.wholebible.com delves into the letters to the seven congregations of Revelation 1 through 3. This first video gives some background and church history like you've probably never heard it before. From the resurrection of our Messiah to about 325 A.D. Jesus believers were under persecution from both Jews and Gentiles, especially because the Jesus believers were caught up in the rebellions of the Jews against the Romans.
Why did believers get persecuted along with the Jews? Because in every way the believers were following the Torah or what is now known as the Old Testament. It was difficult to tell the Jews apart from the believers because they followed the same holidays, ate the same food, and even sacrificed at the temple (while it was still around). As the believers (Jew and Gentile) increased, factions developed. One of these were the power-grabbers we think were the Nicolaitans. They wanted to control the believers (or "rule over the laity") often from good motives (such as stamping out heretical doctrine) but as time when on more often from just wanting to rule. Much like the rabbis in Judaism, eventually these Nicolaitans (priests, popes, bishops, and so on) got the control they desired. A big victory for the Nicolaitans was achieved when Constantine in 325 A.D. made Christianity the official religion of the Roman empire. This we can call the birth of the church.

A Whole Bible Look at Revelation 1, 2, & 3: There is No Church in the Bible
A startling statement perhaps, but we here at The Word of God Ministries are not afraid to make it. We stand on His Word, and it's important to understand that many churches do not, and therefore have abdicated any authoritative position they would have had if they had stayed with the Word.
Second in a series on Revelation 1, 2 & 3, Bruce Bertram continues making the connections between church reality and a Bible picture that is much different. Before we get much further into the letters to the seven congregations we need to realize that Jesus is talking about the church in a much different way than most people think. The church is blinded to the identity of groups like the Nicolaitans because they do not realize that, in the words of Pogo, "we have met the enemy, and he is us."
The present day church has duplicated many of the mistakes Jesus is identifying in the seven congregations. But the church (in general) continues to make them because they do not want to admit their faults, repent, and be cleansed. They (in general) are blocking the way into the Kingdom while refusing to enter themselves. We do not need to fear them or even pay attention. We just need to concentrate on God's Word, take it in and do it in spite of the admonitions coming from those who want to rule over the laity.
