We were having dinner at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg when a Squirrel sat down at the table next to us and ate a chip.

Keeping chickens requires more than just feeding and collecting eggs. Cleaning the coop is necessary on occasion. My coop flooded during recent rains so the hay and wood flakes on the ground were pretty nasty. In this video I clean it out, add some more sand, then put out fresh wood shavings. I also feed and collect eggs. Let me know what you think about my coop.

Our dog is cheap entertainment for us. She is a border collie/heeler mix. She is very smart and attentive. Border Collies are said to be the smartest dogs and our dog definitely learns fast. These buttons are a fun way to train them to do things.

I eat eggs daily which is one reason I really enjoy having a flock of chickens. In this video I make a simple toasted egg and cheese sandwich. June 2023 - When we visited Anakeesta in Gatlinburg for the first time, we purchased tickets to the Astra Lumina night walk. It opens after the sun goes down. I recommend seeing visiting Anakeesta and seeing Astra Lumina at least once. It was a neat experience.

June 10, 2023. We visit Gatlinburg every year, but this was our first trip to Anakeesta. This place is really neat and you must visit it at least once. Then again, they are steadily adding new attractions, so future return visits are likely for us. On this trip to Anakeesta we went in the evening after 5pm. There are many places to sit in a chair and take in the surrounding mountain views. Anakeesta has multiple restaurants offering a variety of food options. We settled on the Smokehouse restaurant. The mountain mac and nachos were delicious. If you're not into riding chair lifts that are becoming more and more popular in Gatlinburg, there is a shuttle bus that runs up and down the mountain. We did not do the dueling zipline, but I hope to in a future visit.

We find it entertaining to have our dog push buttons for things like food and going outside.
