In this video, we review the 14th Amendment; which guarantees that all persons born or naturalized in the U.S, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States: nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without the process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. And the 9th Amendment guarantees certain unalienable rights to every man, woman, and child. Those unalienable rights include not only the freedom of life, liberty, property, speech, assembly, and due process, but any right or freedom which is not specifically granted by the Constitution to the government. If the Constitution does not assign a specific right or freedom to the government, then we all have that particular right or freedom. We go over those freedoms, including; the right of self-determination, homeschooling, a choice of suppliers of products and or services, choice of lifestyle, food, drink, and any right or freedom that does not infringe on the right rights and freedoms of others or is a threat. We take a good look at the 2 ways that have been or may be used to challenge the private association and how they just don't make sense. 1. An argument that states the private association is formed for the purpose of avoiding federal or state laws and regulations. LOL - yep. We have the right to contract and conduct private business activities. 2. An objection that the association rights are limited to free speech and advocacy, not activities. This is asinine as our right to free speech is already protected. In this video, I'm beginning a series of four that covers why (and how) the First, Fifth, Ninth, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments protect the private domain and the private association. I go into a quick definition of each Amendment, followed by two types of crime. Mala En Se Crime is a crime of substantive evil such as murder, rape, robbery, human sacrifice, and hurting children. Mala Prohibita - a crime that was not a crime until legislation is put into place making it a crime to protect the "welfare" of the public. I talk about how the Amendment protections and crime go together and what it means for you in your private healing association or ministry, giving real-life examples. In this video, I go over the purpose for the EIN# in the private domain, what form to fill out (SS4) and the boxes to check. **For my paid clients I give a referral that takes care of this for you. It's totally worth it. ; ) ** In your association/ministry, the EIN# is for banking purposes only. When you receive the EIN#, you'll get a letter from the IRS with the #. it also contains "scary" language that makes us all think we need to fill out a form 1023, which we do not because a filing exception does belong to us as unincorporated Faith-Based Organizations. Furthermore, under the U.S. federal tax code 26 U.S.C. Section 508(c)(1)(a), "churches, their integrated auxiliaries, and conventions or associations of churches," fall under a "mandatory exception" to the filing requirements that charitable organizations must follow to receive tax-exempt recognition by the IRS and are therefore not required to file form 1023. The mandatory exception of section 508 is recognized and confirmed in the instructions for Form 1023 as well as supported by IRS Publication 557. We talk about the tough part of PMAland -unlearning unhealthy ideas, asking permission from authorities out of their lane, and learning styles. In a PEA you can choose the curriculum you want (and don't want), you get to choose what is best for your children, such as life skills, schedules, documentation, and adaptability.
