Who Are We Pt 5 A Solid Foundation 03/05/2023
Today's message is by Pastor Richard Lister of Electric City Fellowship in Anderson SC. As we seek a deeper walk with Jesus Christ, we must build a solid foundation. We must hear, read, and study God's Word to learn more about Christ as we try to live like Him. The history of Scripture's, the consistency of the Scriptures and the evidence of changed lives, tells us that the Gospel is true and faithful.
Engaging with Scripture and prayer is essential to developing a stronger relationship with Jesus. As we read and study the Bible, we can learn how to trust in God’s power and love. We can also gain insight into how to live in a way that honors and pleases Him. Practicing daily prayer and meditation opens the door to being filled with the Holy Spirit and being guided by the Lord.
The more time we spend in prayer and reading the Bible, the more our faith will grow and our understanding of the Lord will deepen. As we become more familiar with the words, teachings, and stories of Scripture, we can learn how to be more like Jesus, and we can deepen our relationship with Him. We can learn to trust in His promises and be inspired by His example. We can also gain the courage and strength to face any challenge that comes our way.

Complete in Christ Pt 2 04 16 2023
The Sermon was delivered by Pastor Richard Lister of Electric City Fellowship in Anderson SC on April 16, 2023. Our walk with Christ goes from Grace to faith to Discipleship. Once we have become a believer by faith in Christ as our Savior, we move into a lifetime of discipleship. Learn more as we move through this series.
Grace:
Grace is God’s unmerited favor and love for us. It is not something we can earn or deserve, but is freely given to us by God. We receive grace through faith in Jesus and His death on the cross. As we accept His love and forgiveness, we are free from the burden of sin and can enter into a relationship with Him.
Faith:
Faith is trusting in God and His Word. It is believing in His promises and trusting that He will do what He has promised. Faith is not based on our feelings or circumstances, but rather on the fact that God is true and faithful.
Discipleship:
Discipleship is the process of following Jesus and learning to live like Him. It involves studying the Bible, growing in our relationship with God, and living a life of obedience to Him. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love others as ourselves. Discipleship is a lifelong journey of spiritual growth and transformation.

Who are We Pt 2 Living by God's Love and Grace 02 12 2023
Part 2 in the series by Pastor Richard Lister of Electric City Fellowship in Anderson SC. We are looking at the way God's Grace influences our lives and the way God uses it to lead us to a deeper relationship.
In Part 2, we look at the way God's grace is used to lead us to repentance and change. We see in Scripture that God's grace is intended to bring us to a place of repentance and change. It is not enough to simply accept God's grace passively; it is meant to transform us and lead us to a more intimate relationship with Him. We are encouraged to actively seek and receive God's grace so that we can experience the transformation that it brings.
God's grace is not only offered to us, it is also meant to be sought after. When we seek after God's grace and accept it, we are able to experience the freedom and transformation that it brings. This transformation leads us to a deeper relationship with God as we learn to trust Him and rely on His grace. We also learn to accept ourselves as we are, and to offer grace to those who have hurt us.
God's grace is also used by Him to convict us of our sin and to draw us closer to Him. As we accept God's grace, He uses it to bring us to a place of repentance and change. We are encouraged to confess our sins to Him and to seek His forgiveness and grace.

Steadfast Pt 1 The Shaking Dan 1 v1 thru 7
Daniel is a prominent figure in the Old Testament of the Bible. His life and experiences are chronicled in the Book of Daniel, which is considered one of the major prophetic books in both Judaism and Christianity. The Book of Daniel provides valuable insights into the life, faith, and visions of this biblical character.
Daniel's Early Life:
According to the biblical account, Daniel was born into a noble Jewish family in Jerusalem during the reign of King Josiah. He lived during a tumultuous period when the Babylonian Empire was rising to power and eventually conquered Judah. In 605 BC, when Daniel was still a young man, Nebuchadnezzar II, the king of Babylon, besieged Jerusalem and took many captives back to Babylon, including Daniel and his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.
Daniel's Education and Rise to Prominence:
In Babylon, Daniel and his friends were selected for their intelligence and potential to serve in the king's court. They were enrolled in a three-year training program where they learned the language and literature of the Babylonians. Despite being immersed in a foreign culture, Daniel remained faithful to his Jewish beliefs and refused to defile himself by eating the royal food. Instead, he requested a diet of vegetables and water, which God blessed by making them healthier than those who ate the king's food.
Through divine intervention, Daniel excelled in his studies and was granted wisdom and understanding beyond that of his peers. He became known for his ability to interpret dreams and visions. One notable event that showcased Daniel's gift was when he successfully interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dream about a large statue representing various kingdoms. This interpretation demonstrated God's sovereignty over human history.
