A nurse shark and a huge stingray engage in a competition for food from a fish bait tube. The shark actually works its way under the stingray to get at the fish. Sharks and rays don't normally tolerate each other but nurse sharks are not even the slightest bit aggressive.

This little red squirrel adores his peanuts, but he has a hard time when he finds one tied down to the deck with an elastic band. He literally goes in circles trying to figure out how to free his treat. He even pauses and looks curiously at the camera as he reconsiders his approach. His perseverance wins in the end, proving that it's hard to outsmart a red squirrel when peanuts are on the line!

Three monkeys enjoy an afternoon tousle until one of them notices that they are all being filmed. The fight gets forgotten - briefly - and they grab at the camera curiously. After a few moments the fight resumes and even the most reluctant monkey gets dragged back into the action. Monkeys are probably so fascinating to us because of their strong resemblance to ourselves. Any brothers who have wrestled know how much fun can be had. These monkeys are much like hairy little humans with impossibly long arms!

Briva is an elderly Great Dane who used to chase squirrels off the cottage deck with great agility. No sensible squirrel would ever have dared to come this close when she was in her prime. Now that she's eleven years old and her sight and hearing are failing her, she has gone into retirement. Somehow, this bold little red squirrel understands that she is no longer up for the chase. He scampers around and even taunts her by sitting only inches away from her while he plays with the peanut before running away. It is almost as if he wants to rub it in that he's not afraid of the giant dog. Briva has found her peace with the cottage critters and prefers to stay comfortable in a sunny spot while they gather their nuts. She spends a good part of her summer days lounging in the sun or exploring the island in Parry Sound, enjoying the smells. It's always nice to see an elderly pooch that loves a good and comfortable life. Her owners must love her very much, and after all this time – she is basically a part of the family. Now she can remember her hunting days with nostalgia while she lounges on the sun.

This critically endangered hawksbill sea turtle is a very unique character. Rescued as a hatchling, the turtle spent her first year in a centre where she was cared for by humans. She was released in the ocean in a remote area off an island in Papua New Guinea. Although wild, and completely independent, she responds well to the scuba divers who occasionally come here to explore and to check on the turtles that they released. This turtle is critically endangered, among a population that has been declining due to illegal hunting and also due to habitat loss and destruction of nesting areas. This scuba diver was fortunate enough to be among a group of biologists who came to this site. The diver was meeting the friendly turtle for the first time. Curious and unafraid, the turtle latched onto Kristy like they were old friends. She followed Kristy around the coral head, watching everything that Kristy did. Kristy pried some yellow sponge out from between two rocks when the turtle was unable to get to it and the eager little turtle munched away happily. After a few minutes of feeding this adorable little creature, Kristy made her way back to the boat and up to the surface, saying goodbye to her new friend. Kristy is a seasoned scuba diver who has explored many waters and she has seen many of the ocean's animals up close, but this was one of the most memorable dives that she has had. You can see on her face that this little turtle completely captured her heart.

Kristy and Dave were on vacation on San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos. It's a beautiful part of Ecuador where the pace is relaxed and the surroundings are beautiful. On an evening walk along the beachfront, Kristy decided to go to a nearby souvenir store. She left her husband, Dave unsupervised for a few minutes as she did so. He was sitting on a park bench beside the beach with the understanding that she would not be gone long. But in five minutes, a lot can happen. Moments after she walked away, a large, female sea lion waddled across the sidewalk and decided to climb up on the bench not far from Dave. This is not unusual behavior for San Cristobal sea lions. They live in complete harmony with locals and the tourists, often sleeping on sidewalks, quiet roads, gutters, and on any bench or table that is located near the beach. They spend a lot of their day and most of their nights sleeping. They can be found in flower planters, under shrubs, on unattended boats or anywhere that a sea lion thinks makes a good spot for a nap.

Ghostrider is an anonymous philanthropist who keeps his identity a closely guarded secret, His face is always hidden behind a mask and only a select few know who he is and what he does. He uses his Lamborghini Aventador SV for charitable causes whenever he can. A proud member of the North face Rally, Ghostrider and other club members use their beautiful exotic machines to make dreams come true for deserving children. They host rallies and community events to raise funds for toy drives, Cops for Cancer events, and other charities and causes. But Ghostrider uses his Lamborghini for fun things too. He loves to feel the incredible power of the car under full throttle, and he appreciates the beauty and style of this piece of moving art. The throaty growl of the 10 cylinder engine brings a smile to his face, although you can't actually see it. Ghostrider takes the car almost everywhere he goes, including camping. Because Ghostrider also appreciates nature, along with the quieter moments in life, a getaway in the forest is always a good thing. Excited as anyone would be, he buys the right snacks and supplies for a little camping excursion. Packing the car isn't what you might be used to though because a Lamborghini trunk is up front, and it barely holds what he needs. He jams in some Jiffy Pop popcorn, a few marshmallows, some charcoal for a campfire and he's off. Who can blame him for being in a little bit of a hurry to get out in the woods and relax? The engine roars as Ghostrider flies along the country roads on his way to the woods. Finding a peaceful spot in a stand of pine trees, he realizes that he has no lighter or matches to start a fire. But one of the advantages to having a Lamborghini is that flames are not hard to produce. All it takes is a little revving of the engine. Ready for a snack, he begins to heat things up and makes an attempt to roast the marshmallows on a stick at the exhaust. There's certainly enough heat but the exhaust just melts and blasts the marshmallows off the stick. Ghostrider didn’t get to where he is by giving up easily. He is a persistent fellow so he tries another approach. He lines up a few sticks and a little charcoal and sets them up behind the exhaust. He's going to summon his inner boy scout and make a campfire that any outdoorsman would be proud of. Yet again, the powerful exhaust simply blows the sticks away. With a little more effort and another attempt, the exhaust lights the fire and the flames are roaring enough to get those marshmallows toasted properly. And when the marshmallows are done, it's time for a little popcorn too. Bring on the Jiffy Pop! As darkness sets in, and the campfire burns, all that is need needed are a few ghost stories, or better yet GhostRIDER stories and this scene will be complete. In typical Ghostrider fashion, even this video will be used to assist a young child who needs help with medical expenses as she battles cancer. Water snakes can grow to 1.5m (4.5 feet) in length. They are often confused with venomous rattlesnakes and cottonmouths. Snakes strike fear in the hearts of many, even though they are beneficial to our own existence. Perhaps it is the fear of the venomous snakes that could potentially cause us illness, or worse. Perhaps it is more rooted in the common fear of snakes that is the second most common fear in the world. It is helpful to at least understand which of the snakes pose a threat and which do not. Unprovoked attacks by snakes are rare and most of these are caused by an accidental close encounter that makes the snake react in self defence. Another common cause for mishap is when snakes are handled irresponsibly. This common northern water snake has similar markings as Massassauga rattlensnakes and cotton mouths. They are often mistaken for the more dangerous varieties. Water snakes swim beneath the water, able to hold their breath and completely submerge while hunting or moving in the water. Rattlesnakes keep their head above water when they swim. Watersnakes prey on fish, frogs, and other small animals along the shore. Although they can inflict a painful bite, they are not capable of seriously harming a human. Even the bite of a Massassauga rattlesnake, Canada's only venomous snake, is not powerful enough to cause life threatening symptoms for most humans. These snake make a loud buzzing sound when threatened and people and animals often have ample opportunity to avoid a regrettable encounter. Understanding snakes and their benefit to us is an important step in avoiding a problem with them, and preventing unfounded fear. Without them, rodent populations would go unchecked and we would have serious problems with parasites and other illness. Rodents are also an extreme problem for farmers, causing crop damage and increased costs.

Baby groundhogs are so cute that they resemble small stuffed toys more than they do wild animals. These baby groundhogs had just emerged from their burrow to explore their surroundings and follow their mother on a quest for food. The babies will not venture far from the entrance to the burrow. They seem to be very aware that the world is a dangerous place for a chubby little creature such as themselves. Groundhogs of this size are vulnerable to hawks, foxes, coyotes and dogs. It would not be difficult for a large bird to carry one off if it strayed out into the open. But some kind person has been watching these beautiful little babies and they have placed a few apple slices in front of the hole. The babies still rely on their mother for milk, but they will also eat plants. They don't see apples very often but it doesn't take long for this one to catch on that the fruit is delicious. Even at such a young age, these groundhogs have enormous claws. They will need those to dig burrows of their own soon enough. Throughout the summer, they will eat as much as they can to store fat for their winter hibernation. They will dig burrows of their own and venture underground below the frost line. They will sleep for 4-5 months before they emerge, starving and eager to start eating again. This little fellow couldn't be cuter as he holds his treat and nibbles away happily.

These raccoons were orphaned at a very young age and grew up in a large outdoor cage as they were cared for. They are about to experience something for the very first time since they were tiny... Freedom! And trees! Watch how they instinctively climb like naturals. They will be supported for a year until they are independent.

Pufferfish inhabit a subtropical climate: the ocean waters of the Far East, Southeast Asia, the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean, but is also found in large freshwater habitats of the Niger, Nile, Congo, Amazon, Lake Chad estuaries. All pufferfish species belong to bottom non-migratory fish, they live most often at a depth of no more than 100 meters. Older fish of this species stay in the bays, sometimes swimming out into salty waters. The giant pufferfish has one of the most adorable faces in the ocean. This one was very fascinated with the camera and he stares into it, giving an interesting view of the saucer-like eyes. These fish can't swim quickly but they can inflate large enough that they can't be swallowed. They also have thousands of spines and toxic skin. Life of the puffer fish remains a <a href="https://rumble.com/v47l8l-mystery-creature-swimming-in-singapore-river.html" target="_blank">mystery </a> to this day. Researchers know just bits and pieces about these poisonous predators. So far, we know that these fish are not able to develop high speed in the water because the aerodynamics of their trunk does not allow it. However, these fish maneuver easily, forward head or tail, deftly turn and even swim sideways, if necessary, just like the smiling specimen in the video above. Another interesting feature of puffer fish is their sense of smell. They can pick up smells so faint that only a dog snoop and this is why local cultures in their native languages have named them what literally translates to “fish dog”. Few of the inhabitants of the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3iq6d-playful-sea-otters-show-off-underwater-acrobatic-skills.html" target="_blank">underwater</a> world can compare with puffer fish in the art to distinguish smells in water.ands of spines and toxic skin.

These nine beautiful little pups are as fluffy and adorable as puppies can be. Their mother, Stella is a beautiful Bernese Mountain dog with a lovely disposition. Her father, Dexter, is a strapping and handsome Maremma. They are the perfect parents to these nine gorgeous dogs with equally beautiful personalities. They are love children, born after Dexter and Stella found a quiet moment to run off into the woods and start a family. Their love tryst came just before they were scheduled for a little family planning surgery at the veterinary clinic. But their love could not wait and they managed to beat the clock. It was a blessing in disguise since their puppies are so adorably perfect. Dexter and Stella could not be more proud. They play with and care for them well. Stella nurses them daily and they are slowly being weaned off their mother's milk. In a few more weeks they will be brought to their carefully selected forever families. Until they leave, the puppies will continue to enjoy life on this wonderful farm. They have meadows to play in, a forest to explore, streams to traverse, and a few small animals to get acquainted with. Their life is as perfect as they are. On this sunny, summer day, a visitor has come to see them and he has brought them a stuffed toy that is as big as they are. He tosses it on the grass and the puppies instantly know what to do with it. One grabs it and runs. Another latches on and soon the puppies come from everywhere, all trying to get their teeth into it. The result is the most adorable tug-o-war imaginable. They pull and growl playfully, beautifully clumsy as they trip over each other in the struggle. These pups are living the best life possible.

Dive master Nito is followed by an affectionate baby nurse shark as he leads his group over the coral reefs in Belize. It seems more like a lost puppy as it swims behind him. It then comes face to face with Nito and he gives it a little back scratch before they continue along together. Nurse sharks are harmless and very curious about divers.

Ospreys, also known as fish eagles, are Canada's second largest bird, with a wing span almost six feet across. Second only to the bald eagle, they are a formidable predator and an impressive sight. They return to the same nest each year to mate, lay eggs, and raise their young. <a href="https://rumble.com/v3169w-osprey-delivers-fish-to-his-mate.html" target="_blank">Ospreys</a> nest in areas around open water in order to find fish, their staple food source. With keen eyesight and razor sharp talons, ospreys can spot fish at the surface and then swoop out of the sky to capture them. Barbs on their talons prevent the fish from wriggling free, but these barbs also make it impossible for the osprey to release their grip while in flight. An osprey must land in order to pull a fish from its claws. Areas around lakes and rivers are often the home to competing ospreys who also hunt for food for their families. An osprey will chase others who have caught a fish, in an attempt to steal their catch. Two ospreys have begun the task of adding fresh sticks to their nest and the male has gone of to a nearby lake to find a meal. He returns soon after with a large bass, intending to feed the female who is guarding the nest. She can be heard squawking excitedly as he flies near. Her sharp vision allows her to see that it is her mate and that he has fish, but she can also see a female osprey following him and she shrieks a warning. As the male tries to land, the aggressor flies in behind and above, rendering the male's neck and spine vulnerable. He knows that an attack from this angle with her talons can be fatal. He can't release the fish and he can't easily turn around so he drops off the edge of the nest in a desperate effort to gain much needed speed to escape and lure her away. The intruder has a brief squabble with the nesting female and then takes off after the male with <a href="https://rumble.com/v30liw-osprey-feeding-on-a-fish.html" target="_blank">the fish</a>. He returns and makes another attempt to land. He still hasn't got the time needed to release the fish from his grasp and he continues past. His mate takes wing and the two females chase each other around the nest. The male perches nearby, joined by his female and the two hastily rip chunks from the fish. When the defeated female flies away, the lady of the house returns to the nest, followed by her mate and the two enjoy the rest of the meal in peace. Competition for food is a common sight among most animals, and it is the same for many birds of prey, but aerial battles such as this one are rarely caught on film.

If you sit quietly and patiently in the woods for long enough, the animals can sometimes become curious. It also helps when they can smell apples and carrots and even hear the crunching of these tasty treats. These deer live in a very remote area where their rare encounters with humans are non-threatening. Apple chunks on the ground brought the first deer close as Chris sat motionless. With very slow and careful movements, he was able to hold out some of his food to share with a beautiful doe. You can see the joy on his face that comes from earning the trust of a wild creature!

Dave is an animal lover to the extreme. He lives very close to a beautiful farm in Millbrook, Ontario, where the cows are extremely happy and well looked after. They have ponds with fresh water to drink, acres of lush, green meadow to graze and forest at the edge of the pastures. The farmers run a very ethical operation and the cows are living the good life, as close to what nature intended as possible. The farmers were leaving town for a few days and they asked Dave to keep an eye on the cows and move them from one pasture to another the following day. Excited for this opportunity to "babysit" the cows, Dave took the job very seriously. He happily wandered among the cows as they grazed and enjoyed the sunshine. As it turns out, cows are more curious and inquisitive than we might imagine. With an intellect that is similar to dogs and personalities that are also similar, the cows soon approached Dave and figured out that he made a good scratching post. More than happy to rub their heads and scratch their chins, Dave was kept very busy, petting them with both hands. Fiona and Flossey are sisters (half sisters, with Gus the bull being their father), born last spring. Fiona was enjoying a head and face rub while Flossey rubbed her head on Dave's leg and her chin on his shoulder. Deciding that it was her turn to be the center of attention, she put her head down and squeezed between Dave and Fiona, completely pushing her sister out of the way. Fiona puts her ears back and looks like annoyed. Half-heartedly, she even nudges Flossey to remind her not to hog the attention. Anyone who has two or more dogs has seen this behavior when one of them sees that the other is getting too much petting. Cows are generally more aloof and may not see humans as being so approachable, but these cows show how affectionate and pet-like they can be when they are used to being treated well. Completely unaware of how large and powerful they are, these cows actually bump and knock Dave around a little as he tries to keep up with their demands.

An exceptionally friendly deer eats corn and apples out of this man's hand, but he didn't expect it to bite the hand that feeds it! Don't worry, no fingers were missing as a result.

The porcupine fish is a bizarre looking creature with a face that is almost human. Its big eyes and small mouth make it look like a wide-eyed child with a curious stare. They swim by flapping their dorsal fins and pectoral fins, not their tails. Luckily, they do not need to be fast swimmers. Highly toxic and able to inflate to more than triple its size, few predators are interested in touching this fish. This one seems to be curious about the camera and the straight on view creates an adorable image!

A few curious monkeys manage to get a hold of a GoPro and immediately begin to bite it, lick it, fight over it and even film themselves. The baby monkey turns out to be a great film star!

Divers swimming above Kristy watch her photograph a fish, oblivious to the enormous Spotted Eagle Ray approaching her from behind. You can hear one of them frantically dinging his tank to let her know. She luckily turns and raises her camera just in time to capture the unbelievable video of this rare and beautiful creature that had come within inches of her. This specific kind of ray can be found globally in tropical regions, including the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. They are recognizable by their flat disk-shaped bodies, and the deep blue or even black with white spots on top. Their flat snouts resemble a duck's bill. These distinctive features make the spotted eagle ray a very coveted aquarium attraction, although they aren't kept for private purposes and can only be found in public aquariums. They do not pose a significant threat for humans, which is a good thing to know when/if you find yourself in Kristy's situation. She had an amazing opportunity to see one of these creatures, but to think she almost missed this once in a lifetime encounter! She would've regretted it for sure! But she managed to film the whole thing, and now we also get to see this wonderful creature's grandeur.

Piranha are one of the most feared fish in the water, second only to sharks. Despite their small size, they are more than capable of killing a large animal, or even a human in a matter of minutes. Living in large schools and able to smell a drop of blood in the water from a distance, they attack their prey and retreat, returning to bite again. In great numbers, such an attack can inflict serious injury rapidly. Piranha have large, razor sharp teeth and powerful jaws with a bite force that is greater than most other fish. As a result, they can tear a chunk of flesh off an animal with ease. Piranha don't often attack healthy humans in the water, but they have been known to do so when food is scarce or when a person is injured or incapacitated. Thrashing and splashing in the water will attract them, making children more frequent targets than adults. Although it is believed that their attacks are coordinated, cooperative hunting, it is more of an individual attack that coincides with other piranha in their school. Schooling is actually a means of protection from predators. They are even known to attack their own species when stressed or extremely hungry. Piranha are generally no larger than 1 foot in length but some species can reach 20 inches. They live in most fresh water lakes and rivers throughout the Amazon basin. This video was taken with a GoPro camera that was dipped in the water of a lake at a small and secluded lodge, situated on a remote inland lake connected to the Napo River, one of the largest rivers in Ecuador. Meat was dangled in the water by a local fisherman and the piranha were recorded as they swarmed the bait. The fisherman caught a larger adult and displayed the teeth for a group of Canadians who attended the nearby lodge. This was part of an educational program and the fish was immediately released back into the water unharmed. Despite the fact that these piranha are capable of posing serious risk, people occasionally swim in the lake and are generally unharmed. It is not advisable to do so, especially if the swimmer is injured.

Tourists in Thailand saw something swimming that defied description. They can be heard guessing if it is a cross between a snake and an otter. They are mystified! They were likely seeing a very large water monitor. It is incredibly rare to see these creatures swimming. They spend most of their day basking on a log or a river bank.
