Biden: “I know there’s some attention paid to some language in the report about my recollection of events. There is even reference that I don’t remember when my son died. How in the hell dare he raise that? Frankly, when I was asked the question, I thought to myself, wasn’t any of their damn business. Let me tell you something. Some of you have commented. I wear since the day he died, every single day, the rosary he got from Our Lady of — every Memorial Day we hold a service remembering him, attended by friends and family and the people who loved him. I don’t need anyone, I don’t need anyone to remind me of when he passed away. The simple truth is, I have sat for a five-hour interview, over two days of events, going back 40 years at the same time I was managing an international crisis. Their task was to make a decision about whether to move forward with charges in this case. That was their decision to make. That’s the counsel’s decision to make. That’s his job. And they decided not to move forward. For any extraneous commentary, they don’t know what they’re talking about. It has no place in this report. Bottom line is, the matter is now closed. I’m going to continue what I’ve always focused on, my job of being president of the United States of America. I thank you, and I’ll take some questions.” DOOCY: “President Biden, something the special counsel said in his report is that one of the reasons you were not charged is because, in his description, you are a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.” BIDEN: “I’m well-meaning and I’m an elderly man, and I know what the hell I’m doing. I’ve been president, I put this country back on its feet. I don’t need his recommendation. It’s totally —“ DOOCY: “How bad is your memory and can you continue as president?” BIDEN: “My memory is so bad, I let you speak. That’s —“ REPORTER: “Do you feel your memory has gotten worse, Mr. President?” BIDEN: “My memory has not — my memory is fine. My memory — take a look at what I’ve done since I’ve become president. None of you thought I could pass any of the things I got passed. How did that happen? You know, I guess I just forgot what was going on.” REPORTER: “Mr. President, for months, when you were asked about your age, you would respond with the words ‘watch me’. Well, many American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age.” BIDEN: “That is your judgment — that is your judgment. That is not the judgment of the press.” REPORTER: “They expressed concerns about your mental acuity, they say that you are too old. Mr. President, in December you told me that you believe there are many other Democrats who could defeat Donald Trump. So why does it have to be you now? What is your answer to that question?” BIDEN: “Because I’m the most qualified person in this country to be president of the United States and finish the job I started.” BIDEN: “The House is in negotiation — look. I’m of the view, as you know, that the conduct of the response in Gaza, in the Gaza Strip, has been over the top. I think that, as you know, initially the president of Mexico, Sisi, did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate. I talked to Bibi to open the gate on the Israeli side. I’ve been pushing him really hard, really hard to get humanitarian assistance into Gaza. There are a lot of innocent people who are starving, a lot of innocent people who are in trouble, and dying. And it’s got to stop. Number one. Number two, I was also in the position that I am the guy that made the case that we have to do much more to increase the amount of material going in, including fuel, including other items. I’ve been on the phone with the Qataris, I’ve been on the phone with the Egyptians, I’ve been on the phone with the Saudis, to get as much aid as we possibly can into Gaza. They’re innocent people, innocent women and children who are also in badly need of help. And so that’s what we are pushing. And I’m pushing very hard now to deal with this hostage cease-fire, because, I’ve been working tirelessly in this deal — how can I say this without revealing — to lead to a sustained pause."

YELLEN: "We don't have to get the prices down because wages are going up. And a metric that is worth knowing is that the median American house worker –" KENNEDY: "We need to get these prices down? Chicken is up 23.5% coffee is up 30%, gasoline is up 44% and new cars and trucks are up 20%, because people – that is used cars! People cannot afford a new car they're up 24% under Bidenomics and you don’t think we need to get these prices down?" YELLEN: Wages are also up. KENNEDY: They're not up 24%. They're not up 27%. Not up 23. Not up 31.

I have no idea why President Trump thinks Bud Light should be forgiven for their radical ad campaign with so-called influencer Dylan Mulvaney (who is a man, not a woman.) The hired a VP who hated the brand, and the people who drank it. They attacked their users with obscene politics, and they haven't remotely come close to apologizing. HOCHUL: “You don’t touch our police officers. You don’t touch anybody.” [Clip ends] HILL: “I mean, we’re hearing a change when it comes to immigration in general from President Biden on down, to hear her talk about that. It is also directly related to the fact that these were police officers. Does that have any impact? Does that change anything?” MILLER: “Well, it’s so complicated because you’re a New Yorker. You move through the city every day as I do. We see these people. We touch these people. They’re out looking for work. They’re delivering our food. They’re at the gas stations and the car Wash. I mean, these are people who came in waves, 170,000, probably to New York City. But within that group, these hard-working throngs of people in search of hope and a better life, there is this one-percenter criminal element that looks at a different opportunity here. These individuals, I went over their rap sheets yesterday, multiple charges, grand larceny, robbery, attempted robbery, grand larceny, grand larceny. This particular crew operated on mopeds and scooters. They were doing organized retail theft. They were doing snatches on the street, iPhones, iPads, clothing, so on and so forth. One of them that they are still seeking has 10 charges on one day because he’s part of a pattern that’s been going on. And I’m looking at the dates that their arrest started, which is probably close to when they got here. They’ve only been here a couple of months. So, what the detectives are telling me is they have crews here that operate in New York, do all their stealing, then go to Florida to spend the money and then come back. And I’m like, well, why don’t they just stay and steal in Florida? And they said, because there, you go to jail.” MATTINGLY: “Great reporting. Keep us posted on this.”

VOTER 1: “I’m trying to grow my business. Therefore, the Biden — I haven’t seen Biden really care about business like that. And my concern is having my business so that I can build generational wealth so my kids can see and have something to take upon with. I’m not here.” Lee: “You’re hearing that too, that there’s some people in your orbit who are either voting for Donald Trump or considering it?” GIVENS: “For sure. A lot of my friends are — obviously, so we’re a little younger. We only voted once, you know, for our president, and Trump is kind of all we know, and they’re kind of — Trump and Biden — they’re like, ‘Well, we were broke with Biden, we weren’t with Trump.’ And that’s kind of the only thing that I’m hearing and over and over again, over and over again, is that with Trump we had money.”

Austin: “But in my first week back in the Pentagon, I did want to address my recent hospital stay and some of the issues around it. I’m recovering well, but as you can see, I’m still recovering, still having some leg pain and doing physical therapy to get past it. I’m deeply grateful to my doctors and the nursing staff at Walter Reed. And I very much appreciate all the good wishes. But I want to be crystal clear, we did not handle this right, I did not handle this right. I should have told the president about my cancer diagnosis. I should have also told my team and the American public, and I take full responsibility. I apologize to my teammates and to the American people. Now, I want to make it very clear that there were no gaps in authorities and no risk to the department’s command and control. At every moment, either I or the deputy secretary was in full charge. And we’ve already put in place some new procedures to make sure that any lapses in notification don’t happen. In the future if the deputy secretary needs to temporarily assume the office the — the duties of my office, she and several White House offices will be immediately notified, including the White House Situation Room, so will key officials across the department. And the reason for that assumption of duties will be included in writing. Now, I want you all to know that — to know why this happened. I was being treated for prostate cancer — the news shook me, and I know that it shakes so many others, especially in the black community. It was a gut punch. And frankly, my first instinct was to keep it private. I don’t think it’s news that I’m a pretty private guy, I never like to burdening others with my problems. It’s just not my way. But I’ve learned from this experience. So taking this kind of job means losing some of the privacy that most of us expect. The American people have a right to know if their leaders are facing health challenges that might affect their ability to perform their duties, even temporarily. So a wider circle should have been notified, especially the president.”

HOCHUL: “Get them all and send them back. You don’t touch our police officers. You don’t touch anybody. Thank you, everybody.”

Graham: “Mr. Zuckerberg, you and the companies before us, I know you don’t mean it to be so, but you have blood on your hands. You have a product — (Cheering and Applause) — you have a product that’s killing people.” (Applause) Lee: “Instagram recently announced that it’s going to restrict all teenagers from access to eating disorder material, suicidal ideation themed material, self-harm content, and that’s fantastic. That’s great. What’s — what’s what’s odd, what — what I’m trying to understand is why it is that Instagram is only restricting — its restricting access to — to sexually explicit content, but only for teens, ages 13 to 15? Why not restricted for 16 and 17-year-olds as well?” Zuckerberg: “Senator, my understanding is that we don’t allow sexually explicit content on the service for people of any age. The — the —“ Lee: “How’s that going?” (Laughter) (Applause) Zuckerberg: “You know, our — our — our prevalence metrics suggest that I think it’s 99 percent or so of the content that we remove were able to identify automatically using AI systems. So I think that our efforts in this while they’re not perfect, I think are industry leading.” Zuckerberg: “Senator, our tools for identifying that kind of content, our industry leading, that doesn’t mean we’re perfect. There are definitely issues that we have, but we continue to invest — “ Blackburn: “Yes, there are a lot that is slipping through. It appears that you’re trying to be the premier sex trafficking site.” Zuckerberg: “Of course not, senator. Senator, that’s ridiculous.” Blackburn: “No, it is not ridiculous.” Zuckerberg: “We don’t want this content on our platforms.” Blackburn: “Why don’t you take it down?” Zuckerberg: “We do take it down.” Blackburn: “We are here discussing we need you all to work with us — “ Zuckerberg: “We do more work to take it down than — “ Blackburn: “No, you’re not! You are not! And the problem is, we’ve been working on this — Senator Welch is over there — we’ve been working on this stuff for a decade. You have an army of lawyers and lobbyists that have fought us on this every step of the way. You work with NetChoice, the Cato Institute, Taxpayers Protection Alliance and Chamber of Progress to actually fight our bipartisan legislation to keep kids safe online. So, are you going to stop funding these groups? Are you going to stop lobbying against this and come to the table and work with us? Yes or no?” Zuckerberg: “Senator, we have a — “ (Applause) Blackburn: “Yes or no?” Zuckerberg: “Of course we’ll work with you on — on the legislation.” Blackburn: “Okay. The door is open. We’ve got all these bills. You need — you need to come to the table. Each and every one of you need to come to the table and you need to work with us. Kids are dying.” (Applause) HAWLEY: “Let me ask you this. There’s families of victims here today. Have you apologized to the victims?” Zuckerberg: “I —“ HAWLEY: “Would you like to do so now?” Zuckerberg: “Well —“ HAWLEY: “They’re here, you’re on national television. Would you like now to apologize to the victims who have been harmed by your product? Show him the pictures. (Applause) Would you like to apologize for what you’ve done to these good people?” Zuckerberg: “I’m sorry for everything you have all been through. No one should go through the things that your families have suffered and this is why we invest so much and we are going to continue doing industry-wide efforts to make sure no one has to go through the things that your families have had to suffer.” Kennedy: “If you think that Instagram is not hurting millions of our young people, particularly young teens, particularly young women, you shouldn’t be driving. The Biden Administration is talking tough about protecting the border. Of course, they're only talking tough because it's an election year. And they're only talking tough because the border is a disaster; politically, economically and on a humanitarian level. For three years, the GOP - and America! - have been asking, talking, begging and screaming for something more to be done. In those years, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has failed to move on existing policies, toed the Biden Administration party line and has presided over the largest numbers of illegal immigration ever...if not near ever. The GOP now moves to impeach the Secretary. ALSO: The Biden Administration has yet to respond to the killing of three U.S. soldiers by Iran. Meanwhile, the administration tries to claim that they've been tough with Iran and getting results. However, the facts don't back up the claim. And "Don't" is not a policy. Biden: “Donald Trump, when he was commander-in-chief, refused to visit a U.S. cemetery outside of Paris for fallen American soldiers, and he referred to those heroes, and I quote, as suckers and losers. He actually said that! He said that! How dare he say that! How dare he talk about my son and all of us like that!”

The drone strike that killed three U.S. Service members was just another attack in the continued war with Iran. Yes, between Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, Iran is at war with the United States. Sadly, the Biden Administration doesn't understand this reality. Biden has promised a response, but who knows when that will happen...or how. On the Right, there are plenty who are demanding a swift and forceful response in Tehran. Then there is the Tucker Carlson, who see this as war mongering and feel no need to respond. That side asks, "What are we doing there to being with?" ALSO, a border deal is in the offing, but the GOP is already balking. While the details are not yet out, they are not wrong to assume what they've heard is true: This bill doesn't go nearly far enough to deal with the border issues. And what is President Biden talking about? Pass the bill and I will shut down the border? He can do that right now! MSNBC and CNN claim decency and objectivity, so why do they continue to broadcast vicious incitement of violence? Joy Reid Reid: “And very quickly, this massive resistance, it sounds like the old Southerners who said that we will resist integration by any means necessary, that Chip Roy language. How does that read inside of the Latino community?” RAMOS: “It’s very — it’s very simple, no? If you’re the Republican Party, you’re allegedly the party of laws and order. And you’re essentially telling local authorities to break the law. So I think once again, going into this image of, you know, who is the party of law and order and who is the party for democracy. I think that’s where we have to highlight the hypocrisy regardless of the politics. They’re essentially telling people to break the law. “ HARRIS: “... November of — of 2024 binary. And on the other side, you’ve got someone who has said that if he were back in office, he would weaponize the Department of Justice. Someone who has openly applauded insurrectionists as patriots. Someone who has said that they will go after their political enemies and — and applauds dictators, indicating that he would be one. So, let’s be really clear about what’s at stake, and then yes, of course, there is then a desire that let’s get out there because we can’t lose this democracy. We can’t.” CARVILLE: “He’s exactly right. This is not a typical election. And there is a massive effort to normalize this. You see The New York Times column saying, well, the Trump people have a case. You see the head of JPMorgan Morgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States, saying, well, they’re right about some things. You see reporters with Jason Miller in the Des Moines hotel, reminds me of a bunch of German reporters in some Munich bar in 1935 saying, ‘Hey, Goering, he was an entertaining guy. I tell you what, he had some great stories.’ Nothing is normal about this at all. And if you watch his speech last night, it was completely unhinged. And what I am obsessed with is, stop treating him like he is a normal candidate, that this is some kind of Bob Dole, Mitt Romney. This is really not."
