We got to play with this one a little bit after donating some wading pools to the Temple Animal Shelter. We've heard that all the dogs and puppies got a turn, and really enjoyed it!

These feline friends are at the Temple Animal shelter in Temple, Tx. We donated toys for each cat there and played some. They were wonderful!

After looking at the Daily Wire's report on Leander ISD, I examine Senate Bill 7 and Texas Law as it pertains to educators.

Tune is as a State Rep. interrogates someone's name. For so long the Left called behavior like this problematic, but I'd wager that there will be crickets when this is brought up. Unbelievable. My respect to Mrs. Jacobs for her testimony, her courage, and her grace-- downright graceFULNESS standing up to these ridiculous questions and being calm and steady. Governor Gregg Abbott declared that Texas will NOT have a complete shut down again. It's a good start.

The more I think about it, the more important it is that some of us be a source of positivity on social media while we seek the truth about this election. At the same time, it will be equally important to leave once the truth has been settled.

Seeing some young people reacting to the possibilities of closures is morbidly fascinating. I will be interested to see how they will reflect on this year in a decade.

Serious question for those who cling to the Main Stream Media-- why are you still in front of the television? The internet has delivered information to everyone, it's time that everyone started participating in that exchange!

My rant and my thoughts on how people deal with change. From a teacher's perspective, I'm seeing more and more young people with out personal responsibility and the ability to cope with change emotionally.

This became somewhat of a rant. I had to cut myself off near the end, because I could feel myself getting angry. These teachers seem to have forgot what their titles imply. They aren’t teaching when all they do is require that “tasks” be completed; they need to troubleshoot and problem solve with their students! Teachers and students are adapting to online learning together, and there is no reason to be so inflexible and patronizing. The winds were high as a winter storm was incoming.

This one came up late in the day and joined some others around the pen.

This day was mild, though the wind picked up. The temperature dropped 30+ degrees the next day, then snow fell on Thursday. Southwest Texas can take in so many climes as they blow in from the North and South!

Spotted these two waiting for some doe or bigger buck. Had to wait for the hog to get in position away from the feeders and the deer. From South Texas, the Middle of Nowhere.

So, no family, no friends, but go buy stuff. CONSUME! OBEY! Rinse, repeat.
