Vedic Guidance on Relationships and Marriage
The traditional institution of family constitutes the very heart of Vedic culture, society and civilization. It is within the context of family relationships that spiritual concepts can practically and meaningfully come to life. Family itself is predicated upon a man and a woman falling in love, getting married, and sharing a successful and nurturing life together. As we are vividly aware, however, it has become increasingly difficult in the 21st century for both men and women to experience healthy and long-lasting relationships that are based upon deep spiritual values and integrity. Despite these difficulties, it is vital that we not give up on the desire to find a partner who we can love and grow with.
In this important Q&A session, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya answers questions on every aspect of romantic relationships between men and women. How do I make myself ready to be with a partner? How do we have a healthy relationship with the opposite sex in which both of us are happy? How do I ensure that my partner and I have a wonderful marriage and create a beautiful household? What is the best way to raise our children? How do we keep God in the center of our family? Whether you are currently looking for a meaningful relationship, are dating or engaged, or have already been married for some time, this very special session will help answer your questions on relationships and marriage.

The Benedictions of the Vaishnavas
A Vaishnava is defined as a transcendental personality who has strived with all sincerity and honesty to know the Supreme Absolute in His highest and most intimate form. A Vaishnava is a sage who has practiced the very opposite of egotism and selfishness. He has performed complete self-surrender at the lotus feet of God, and has thus achieved God's most intimate company and blessings. It is in associating with, and serving, such liberated Vaishnavas with sincerity that we achieve the greatest of benedictions, and that we too can come to know God intimitely. In this special livestream, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya comments upon the teachings of Lord Shiva, as found in the Narada Pancharatra, on the nature of the benedictions of the Vaishnavas.
“Mahadeva (Shiva) said: Alas! Wonderful are the glories of the Vaisnavas who are always engaged in unalloyed devotional service at the lotus feet of Lord Hari, while controlling their senses.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.17)
“Wonderful are the glories of the Vaisnavas, who are adored by LaksmI; by Brahma, who sits on a lotus flower; by Nagas, headed by Ananta; and by the demigods; and who meditate day and night on the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord, from Whose navel sprouts a lotus flower.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.18)
“For their own purification, all of the holy places and the earth itself eagerly desire the association of Vaisnavas and receive the dust from their lotus feet.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.19)
“The knowers of spiritual science call that person a Vaisnava, a purifier of the entire world, who has received a Krsna mantra from the mouth of a twice-born spiritual master.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.21)
“As soon as a person receives a Krsna mantra, he becomes situated on the same platform as Lord Narayana Himself and easily delivers one hundred generations of his family.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.22)
“There is no doubt that a person who accepts a Visnu mantra from a foremost twice-born spiritual master becomes liberated from the contamination that has accumulated from millions of births.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.27)
“The demigods constantly desire to have the association of Vaisnavas. As such, it can only be concluded that there is nothing more sanctified within the universe as Vaisnavas.” (Narada Pancharatra, 1.9.30)

Dīpāvali: From Darkness to the Light of Dharma
On Sunday, November 12, 2023, one-billion followers of the religion of Sanatana Dharma will be celebrating Dīpāvali. On this day, we celebrate the return of Lord Sri Rama to His kingdom of Ayodhya, as well as the triumph of Light over darkness and evil. Join us for this very special livestream as we unite with Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya at the world headquarters/temple of the International Sanatana Dharma Society for this momentous Vedic holy day. Be with us as we usher in the Light of Dharma!
"After offering the wooden shoes before Lord Rāmacandra, Bharata stood with folded hands, His eyes full of tears, and Lord Rāmacandra bathed Bharata with tears while embracing Him with both arms for a long time. Accompanied by mother Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa, Lord Rāmacandra then offered His respectful obeisances unto the learned brāhmaṇas and the elderly persons in the family, and all the citizens of Ayodhyā offered their respectful obeisances unto the Lord." (Srimad Bhagavatam, 9.10.39-40)
"One cannot establish a friendship with the Supreme Lord Rāmacandra on the basis of material qualities such as one’s birth in an aristocratic family, one’s personal beauty, one’s eloquence, one’s sharp intelligence or one’s superior nation. None of these qualifications is actually a prerequisite for friendship with Lord Śrī Rāmacandra. Otherwise how is it possible that although we uncivilized inhabitants of the forest have not taken noble births, although we have no physical beauty and although we cannot speak like gentlemen, Lord Rāmacandra has nevertheless accepted us as friends?" (Srimad Bhagavatam, 5.19.7)

How to Have a Life of Success
The opposite of success is failure. You were not born to be a failure, but rather to meet your full potential in this life. The Vedic lifestyle is a mode of being that more than any other world-view on earth encourages us, and give us the necessary tools, to experience success in every aspect of our lives - both spiritual and material. In this inspiring talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya shares with us some of the empowering Vedic principles that, if we follow them with dedication, will ensure that we have complete success in our lives!
“When people in this world perform activities, sometimes they understand what they are doing and sometimes they do not. Those who know what they are doing achieve success in their endeavors, whereas ignorant people do not.” (Srimad Bhagavatam, 10.24.6)

Curing the Poison of the Kali Yuga - Part Seven
This is part seven of a multipart series.
"Curing the Poison of the Kali Yuga" is an ongoing lecture series in which Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya shares with us how we can rise above the poison, degeneracy and sense of hopelessness that so many of us are experiencing in modernity. This part of the series is one of the most fiery and most powerful talks by Acharyaji ever released to the public. In it, he discusses the problems of atheism, Radical Universalism, religious dogmatism and New Age idiocy, and the difference between benevolent versus malevolent religions.

The Vedic Way of Knowing Truth
The Brahma Sutras states "Now, then, is the time to inquire into the nature of the Absolute." (Brahma Sutras, 1.1.1). The search for the Absolute Truth has been an eternally and universally observed desiderative among all intelligent persons. This search explains why so many diverse religions, philosophies and world-views have come into being throughout human history. But how do we actually know Truth? In this special livestream talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us the Vedic means of knowing Truth.
“Valid cognition is predicated on perception, inference, and divine sound (scripture).” (Yoga Sutras, 1.7)
“There are four kinds of evidence by which we may derive knowledge: history and hearsay, perception, inference, and divine sound (scripture).” (Srimad Bhagavatam, 11.19.17)
“If one wants to understand what is reality, one must consider the three kinds of evidence: Vedic evidence (shabda), perception, and inference.” (Manava Dharma Shastra, 12.105)
"Logic and arguments are insufficient to understand the Absolute Truth." (Brahma Sutras, 2.1.11)
"There are two kinds of knowledge (vidya) to be attained, the higher (para) and the lower (apara)." (Mundaka Upanishad, 1.1.4)
“Scripture is the source of knowledge of the Absolute.” (Brahma Sutras, 1.3)
"By direct perception (pratyaksha), logical deduction (anumana), the Vedic texts (nigama) and personal realization (atma-samvida), one should know that this world has a beginning and an end, and so is not the ultimate reality. Thus one should live in this world without attachment." (Srimad Bhagavatam, 11.28.9)

How to Be a Man - Q&A Session
For several generations, there has been a systematic campaign of attack upon the traditional concept of manhood and the masculine. Given such caricatured tropes as "toxic masculinity", "mansplaining", "man-caves" and "machismo", many innocent and well-meaning men today are deeply confused about what it truly means to be a man in the essential sense of the term. It is as a direct result of such confusion that man young men, especially, have fallen into such destructive and unsatisfying lifestyles as incel culture. In this special Q&A session, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya will be taking questions from men on issues pertaining to fully and healthfully manifesting their essential masculine nature in our current, confused era.

Taking Refuge in Krishna - Part Four
Bhagavan Sri Krishna is the avatara of Lord Narayana for our present age (the Kali Yuga). As Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us in this inspiring livestream talk (Part Four of a series), it is in taking refuge in Krishna that we may achieve liberation from illusion.
“[Krishna said] By remembering Me, unfathomable waters become shallow. By remembering Me, the impure person is purified. By remembering Me, one who is unregulated adopts a regulated life. By remembering Me, one who is filled with lust becomes desireless. By remembering Me, one unlearned in the Vedas becomes learned.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 2.6)
“Durvasas answered her, “In the beginning, only Lord Narayana existed. The worlds were contained within Him, woven like thread on a loom. Born in the lotus of His heart, Brahma performed austerities until Narayana awarded him a boon. Brahma asked to be permitted to pose any question he chose and Narayana granted him this wish.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 2.24)
“[Narayana said to Brahma] One supreme deity is hidden in ever single living being. He is the all-pervading, indweller of all creatures. He is the director of the activities of creation, the resort of all beings, the witness, the consciousness, unique and free from the material qualities.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 2.96)

Taking Refuge in Krishna - Part Three

“I offer salutations to Krishna, the husband of the gopis, the master of the cows and cowherds. He is the embodiment of realized knowledge and possesses a form of supreme bliss.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 1.35)
“I offer repeated salutations to the incomparably great Sri Krishna, who cannot be divided, in whom there is no illusion, who cannot be equalled, who is pure and the enemy of all impurity.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 1.42)
“[Krishna said] By remembering Me, unfathomable waters become shallow. By remembering Me, the impure person is purified. By remembering Me, one who is unregulated adopts a regulated life. Sanatana Dharma Versus Neo-Hinduism: Restoring the Authentic Vedic Tradition
This video is one of the most important talks given by Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya in several years. It is a keynote address delivered by Sri Acharyaji on August 12, 2023 at the International Sanatana Dharma Conference.
Geared primarily toward our beloved and vast Indian Hindu audience, in this lecture Sri Acharyaji juxtaposes authentic Sanatana Dharma with the more recent anti-Vedic phenomenon known as "Neo-Hinduism". He compares and contrasts the enormous differences between these two radically opposing world-views with an extreme depth of detail. Sri Acharyaji calls upon every religious Hindu to reject all modern, anti-Vedic and alien additions to our sacred tradition, and to re-embrace the orthodox and authentic Vedic tradition.

Taking Refuge in Krishna - Part One
Bhagavan Sri Krishna is the avatara of Lord Narayana for our present age (the Kali Yuga). As Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us in this inspiring livestream talk, it is in taking refuge in Krishna that we may achieve liberation from illusion.
“I offer obeisance to Krishna, who possesses a form of eternity, knowledge and absolute bliss, whose every act is untroubled, who is the object of knowledge identified by Vedanta, and who is the guru, the witness present in the intelligence.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 1)
“There is but a single eternal amongst all eternal beings; a single conscious entity amongst all conscious beings; only one who fulfills the desires of the many. Those sages who meditate constantly upon Him, seated on His throne, shall attain everlasting perfection - others shall not.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 20)
“For those who are constantly engaged in worshiping this supreme abode of Vishnu, rather than their material desires, He immediately appears in the form of a cowherd boy and carefully reveals His own abode at that very time.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 21)
“Vishnu is He who at the beginning of the creation brought Brahma into being and then entrusted him with all knowledge. One seeking liberation should take refuge in that divine being who is the revealer of the spiritual intelligence by which one knows the self.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 22)
“I offer salutations to Krishna, the husband of the gopis, the master of the cows and cowherds. He is the embodiment of realized knowledge and possesses a form of supreme bliss.” (Gopala-Tapani Upanishad, 35)

Approaching the Guru for Instruction
It has always been understood within the context of Vedic culture and etiquette that how one initially approaches the guru for sacred instruction is a matter of crucial spiritual importance. It is only in approaching the guru with humility, sincerity and honesty that our inquiries from the guru will bare actual fruit. In this livestream talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya examines what is the proper mood and decorum that is necessary to derive the greatest benefit from a guru's teachings.
“In the assembly of great sages, the wife of Yajnavalkya, known as Gargi, endowed with unparalleled qualities, who has attained the realization of the highest truth, fell at his feet and spoke as follows. Gargi said, ‘One who is fit to be worshipped, who has studied and realized the essence of the Shastras, who is concerned about the welfare of all beings, please teach me the essence of Yoga with all its branches and sub-branches’.” (Yoga Yajnavalkya, 1.6-8)
“Requested thus, Yajnavalkya, who is worthy of being worshipped, viewed all the assembled sages and spoke as follows. Yajnavalkya said, ‘Gargi, best among those who have realized the Ultimate Truth', arise. May all be well with you. I will tell you all about the essence of Yoga which was taught to me by the creator (Brahma). Gargi, when I teach you, listen to me with a focused mind.’ So saying, meditating in his heart with one-pointed concentration upon the Lord of the universe Narayana, who resides in the heart of all beings, who is the support for the existence of all forms of life in all the worlds, who is the source of this universe, who is fit to be meditated upon by Yogis, who is unattached, who is always in a state of bliss, who is immortal, eternal, omnipresent, who is the ruler of senses; Yajnavalkya, whose wealth is his penance and austerity and who is the greatest among the realized souls, beholding Gargi with compassion said ‘O Gargi, realized one, who is proficient in all the Shastras, come forward. I will explain the principles of Yoga which were taught to me by Brahma known as Parameshti (the guru of one’s guru’s guru). Sages who are assembled here listen to me with total concentration along with Gargi’.” (Yoga Yajnavalkya, 1.9-17)

Guru Purnima - 2023
Guru Purnima is the annual holy day in the Vedic tradition in which the guru is celebrated. Join us on this livestream as Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya explains to us the importance of the guru.
tad viddhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya
upadeksyanti te jnanam jnaninas tattva-darsinah
"Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth." (Bhagavad Gita, 4.34)
“One who is searching for the Ultimate Truth must surrender unto a spiritual master, a guru. A guru knows the inner meaning of the Vedas, is fixed in the Absolute Truth and is expert in the Shastra, the revealed scriptures.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam, 11.3.21)
"Unto those great souls who have implicit faith in both the Lord and the spiritual master, all the imports of the Vedas are automatically revealed." (Svetasvatara Upanisad, 6.23)
“Pleasing the guru by rendering personal service attentively for a long time, the aspirant shall always listen with great attention to his exposition of the truths of the Upanishads.” (Narada Parivrajaka Upanishad, 6.22)
"Worthy of adoration is the guru who leads one to Brahman, the Supreme Spirit dwelling in all bodies." (Niralamba Upanishad, 30)
acharyavan purusho veda
"One who follows the Acharya knows things as they are." (Chandogya Upanishad, 6.14.2)
“An Acharya is one who not only confers the sacred thread upon his disciples, but trains them in sacrifice and teaches them the esoteric meanings of the Vedic scriptures, including the Upanishads. According to saintly authorities, such a spiritual master is an Acharya.” (Manu Samhita, 2.140)
An Acharya is one who fully understands the conclusions of the revealed scriptures. His own behavior reflects his deep realization, and thus he is a living example of divine precept. He is therefore known as an Acharya, or one who teaches the meaning of the scriptures both by word and deed. (Vayu Purana,1.24)
“The guru is the supreme Dharma; the guru alone is the sole means of liberation. He who does not honor his guru, who gives initiation into the single syllable (AUM), has all his scriptural learning, penance and spiritual wisdom oozed out as water from an unbaked clay vessel.” (Satyayaniya Upanishad, 39)

Developing Self-Control
One of the greatest causes of misery is the lack of firm control over one's senses, emotions and mind. Without having such self-control, one is a slave of the impulses of the moment, rather than being a master of one's life and destiny. There is no philosophical system or spiritual practice that is more equipped to teach us the path of self-control than the yogic path of Sanatana Dharma. In this practical psychological exploration of the way to develop to self-control, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya comments of a string of illuminating verses from the famous Bhagavad Gita.
"The senses are so strong and impetuous, O Arjuna, that they forcibly carry away the mind even of a man of discrimination who is endeavoring to control them." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.60)
"One who restrains his senses and fixes his consciousness upon Me is known as a man of steady intelligence." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.61)
"While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment desire develops, and from desire anger arises." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.62)
"From anger, delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost, one falls down again into the material pool." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.63)
"One who can control his senses by practicing the regulated principles of freedom can obtain the complete mercy of the Lord and thus become free from all attachment and aversion." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.64)
"For one who is so situated in the Divine consciousness, the threefold miseries of material existence exist no longer; in such a happy state, one's intelligence soon becomes steady." (Bhagavad Gita, 2.65)

The Greatest Deity
All sincere spiritual seekers have as their highest goal the direct realization of the Supreme Absolute Truth. One cannot achieve any goal, however, unless one fully understands exactly and specifically what that goal actually is. In this special livestream event, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya will shed light on an important verse from the Kurma Purana that explains authoritatively and conclusively what and who that highest goal, that highest deity, actually is.
"That is Vishnu from whom the living beings are created and into whom the whole world gets merged. He is the Atman of all living beings. By resorting to Him one is liberated. They call Him the greatest deity beyond the imperishable and the deity resting in the cavity of the heart. He is the highest bliss; the great firmament. He is remembered as Nārāyaṇa. He is ever transcendental, unrestricted by conditions, perpetual bliss and absolutely pure.” (Kurma Purana, 22.74-76)

The Dharma of Masculinity - A Q&A Session with Sri Acharyaji
Healthy masculinity and the age-old culture of true men has been under a concerted and ongoing assault for decades. Men today have been systematically deprived of all positive masculine role models, purpose in life, and are no longer allowed to possess or express any self-respect. As a result of this attack against the Masculine, there is today a dire and demoralizing crisis among our men. Young men, especially, have been increasingly feeling psychologically and spiritually debilitated. They feel rejected by society, and find it more difficult than ever before in history to establish healthy and meaningful careers, relationships, families of their own, or a deep connection with the spiritual.
In this compelling and controversial video, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya answers men's questions, and explains in exacting detail what it means to be a true man, and how to practice the art and Dharma of masculinity. Share this video with every man you know!

The Eternal and the Non-Existent
What is the difference between the real and the unreal, the true and the false, the soul and materiality? In this very special livestream event, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya shares with us one of the most important teachings of the Bhagavad Gita: the difference between the eternal and the impermanent.
“The Blessed Lord said: While speaking learned words, you are mourning for what is not worthy of grief. Those who are wise lament neither for the living nor the dead.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.11)
“Never was there a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.12)
“As the embodied soul continually passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. The self-realized soul is not bewildered by such a change.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.13)
“O son of Kunti, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.14)
“O best among men [Arjuna], the person who is not disturbed by happiness and distress and is steady in both is certainly eligible for liberation.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.15)
“Those who are seers of the truth have concluded that of the nonexistent [materiality] there is no endurance, and of the existent [consciousness] there is no cessation. This seers have concluded by studying the nature of both.” (Bhagavad Gita, 2.16)

Are God and the Demigods Equal?
Previous to roughly 200-250 years ago, the vast majority of followers of authentic Sanatana Dharma understood that God and the lessor gods were not interchangeable, equal, or simply different names for the same person. With the arriving of modernity, however, the legitimate Vedic understanding of the relationship of the gods to God became extremely muddled to the point where we find ourselves today. Today, most neo-Hindus and New Age zealots believe that all the gods are exactly the same being, and are equal to the Supreme Godhead. In this groundbreaking talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya examines Lord Krishna’s direct teachings in the Bhagavad Gita on this topic in which He boldly proclaims all the lessor gods and goddesses to be sustained by Him alone.
“Those whose minds are distorted by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.20)
“Endowed with such a faith, he seeks favors of a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.22)
“Men of small intelligence worship the demigods, and their fruits are limited and temporary. Those who worship the demigods go to the planets of the demigods, but My devotees ultimately reach My supreme planet.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.23)
“Those who know Me as the Supreme Lord, as the governing principle of the material manifestation, who know Me as the one underlying all the demigods and as the one sustaining all sacrifices, can, with steadfast mind, understand and know Me even at the time of death.” (Bhagavad Gita, 7.30)
“Whatever a man may sacrifice to other gods, O son of Kunti, is really meant for Me alone, but it is offered without true understanding.” (Bhagavad Gita, 9.23)
