No, I’m not kidding! 😂
I know seeing ChatGPT in a title for one of my videos seems out of character, but trust me you’re going to want to watch this. I am just going to give you a super straightforward, non-techie introduction and show you all the ways you can use it in your kitchen and your garden and so many different ways.

It's been a HARD week, y'all! Channel update.
It's only by the grace of God I made it through the last week. We lost a dear member of our family on Sunday, October 23, and then all the last week my sweet little dog was in the animal hospital. Lots of trials, but God was gracious and He carried us through.

Merry Christmas from Old Time Knowledge!
I hope everyone is enjoying rest and reflection during this important holiday when we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, please take time to read about His birth in Luke 2. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%202&version=ESV
How to make traditional, Southern Pecan Pie from scratch (pecans, sugar, Karo syrup, eggs & butter)
I had planned to post this Pecan Pie recipe before Thanksgiving, but it just didn't happen! No matter... This pie is perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas or anytime of year!
This particular pecan pie recipe is super easy and only has five ingredients (apart from the pie crust). If you're going to bake this in a glass dish like me, set the oven to 375º and just keep an eye on it until the pie is solid. If you're baking it in a metal pan, bake it at 350º.
INGREDIENTS
•1 cup chopped pecans
• 3 eggs
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
•1/2 cup butter*
(If you want, you can cut this back to 1/3 cup, but I like to use 1/2 cup of butter. Also, I'm using salted butter. If you are using unsalted butter, you'll want to add a dash of salt to your recipe.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients and bake at 350º for about 45-50 minutes or until pie is set. (If using a glass dish, set the temperature to 375º.)
Here is an Amazon associate link to the chopper I'm using in this video: https://amzn.to/3qKtKTl
I use the same one for chopping collards, fruit for jam, all kinds of things.
