Crochet Checkered Patchwork Pumpkin Pattern Tutorial
A checkered chunky yarn crochet pumpkin pattern works up quickly with a unique look!

This fun chunky pumpkin pattern checks all the boxes!
Using an easy variation of the double crochet stitch, the Linked Double Crochet Stitch grows quickly while still eliminating the gaps between the stitches - no filling showing through on this one!
I have a unique way to begin working in the round for this stitch as well. You are essentially working a spiral patchwork stitch! You will be working in the round without a join or seam. A much nicer finished appearance.
I love the checkered look of my pumpkin - just a little bit different than plaid and so much easier to keep track of your colors! You won't have a ton of ends to weave in, either! I drop and pick up yarn, crocheting over the non-working color throughout. And, because this pattern is checkered, you will be carrying the same color as the stitches you are working in from the previous round. So, there will be no color bleed through in this project!

Bunny Basket Crochet Pattern cute & quick Easter Basket
This bunny basket crochet pattern works up quickly and easily with simple stitches.
This complete video tutorial will walk you through each step of this simple and adorable bunny basket crochet pattern.
An adorable Easter Basket great for egg hunts or to fill with treats.
Make with any size weight yarn from worsted weight to super bulky for a different size basket.
I used safety eyes and nose for his face but you could sew on small buttons or embroider the face details. I also used a faux fur pom pom for his tail but that is completely optional. But it definitely ups the cuteness factor!

Learn the Crochet Lace Join Method for Crochet Squares and Motifs
Learn the method for a crochet lace join between crochet squares or motifs. This crochet lace mesh join is shown in three different stitches - double crochet, half double crochet and single crochet stitches. Each stitch will bring a different level of openness and drape for completely different looks.
This crochet lace join method will join squares, triangles or motifs without sewing! An easy crochet join method for granny squares which will add lovely drape and a unique appearance.
Sometimes I forget just how many ways there are to join squares or motifs together. I tend to gravitate to the same ones over and over but I think it is always good to have multiple methods to give each of your projects a unique and distinctive look.
It makes no difference which stitches are used for your square. You can use this method with squares made with single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc) or double crochet stitches (dc).
If you would like to see an example of how to join your granny square strips together to create a blanket, pillow or other large projects head on over to the photo tutorial: https://nanascraftyhome.com/how-to-crochet-a-lace-join-tutorial-for-squares-or-motifs/

Easy Crochet Halloween Pattern Black Cat & Jack o'Lantern Pumpkin Ponytail Holders
These easy crochet halloween patterns are a great Halloween crochet project!
Choose between a Jack o'Lantern Pumpkin or a Black Cat for your Halloween crochet fun.
These ponytail holders are so quick and easy - all you need is a scrap amount of yarn, an inexpensive elastic hair tie and a small amount of polyfil filling.
I think this pattern would be easy enough for beginners using single crochet stitches throughout. Worked in the round in two pieces which are then sewn together and stuffed. Beginners may find the most challenging part is the embroidery faces. But you could also choose to glue on "googly" eyes, sew on small buttons or add safety eyes instead.
The Black Cat version could be made in different colors for the cat lover - so many different possibilities!

The Nina Bean Beanie Hat is a crochet hat worked side to side as a rectangle which is then folded, seamed with top sewn shut and pom pom added at the end.
The crochet "ribbing" is worked as part of the stitch pattern not added on later!
Beautiful texture throughout the crochet beanie hat with ridges and a "faux" cable made with chains and single crochet stitches.
Crochet stitches used include chains, single crochet, half double crochet stitches and slip stitches worked in combination.
Height can easily be adjusted by changing the number of chains in the foundation chain. Width of hat can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting rows at the end.
