Marleys Wild Mustang Project Pt 2 - Mustang Heritage Youth TIP Challenge
This is PART 2 of Marleys Wild Mustang Project, where she has gentled and trained a wild mustang yearling and competing in a Youth In-Hand TIP Challenge (Sept 23').
This a youth TIP program run by the Mustang Heritage Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management to encourage the adoption of mustangs that otherwise would be confined in BLM holding corrals. In the video we will go over some of the techniques she is using to train her mustang, some upgrades to the shelter, and plans for the next phases of the gentling process and TIP challenge preparation.
As always, let me know if you have any questions and thanks for watching!
- Joe
NOTE: Here are a couple links to the Mustang Heritage TIP Program and BLM Wild Horse and Burro program. They offer a lot of great information on the history and conservation of the wild mustang and their protection.

How to Make a Leather Belt Sheath -- (with an outdoor Survival Adventure at the end)
Today I'm making a wet-formed leather belt sheath for my daughter. It is sized to carry a Swiss Army Knife, Ferro Rod, and fire tinder tabs.
In the video I'll go over wet forming the leather (6-7oz) using a mold, trimming and sizing the pieces, edge grooving, dyeing, stitching, burnishing, adding snaps, belt loop hardware, edge coating and finishing the leather.
And there is a bonus little survival adventure at the end of the video from our most recent camping trip. Which actually served as a lot of the motivation for wanting to make this sheath for her.
As always, thanks for watching!

How Much Can It Power? - Bluetti AC200P Power Station Review
Today I'm testing out the Bluetti AC200P Portable Power Station. In the video I test it out on a variety of tools in my shop, appliances in the house and also with my DIY Travel Trailer project for some additional convenience on our camping trips. I also will demonstrate its solar charging capabilities with the optional folding solar panels. And at the end I'll give you my thoughts on its usefulness on a variety of situations ranging from emergencies to mobile power for business or personal use.
Please Note: This was sent to me free of charge to test out and review.

How We Prep for Wildfires - Prevention, Protection and Escape
Preparing a home to be more resistant to wildfires isn't complex. But it does require some effort and due diligence to implement preventative measures. In the video I cover defensible space, tree/vegetation maintenance, fire breaks and the importance of having clean gutters. I also address what we do in the event that there is a wildfire in our area, from preparations of leaving our home to circumstances in which we might consider staying.
And it SHOULD go without saying, but NOTHING is guaranteed, and obviously there are circumstances when no amount of preparation and defensive measures will help..... and in those cases you should ALWAYS err on the side of caution and leaving to a place of safety.
As is life, nothing is guaranteed.... BUT, we can and should take steps to implement preventative strategies and protect our homes BEFORE a wildfire is imminent.
TIME STAMPS for topics in this video....

DIY Travel Trailer: First Trip!
This is the first inaugural camping trip in the DIY Travel Trailer! In all, we travelled 700+ miles in the DIY Travel Trailer and believe it or not... nothing broke! The solar panels and 12v system were able to keep the Dometic cooler, charging station and led lights all in full operation during the whole trip! No leaks or any repairs were needed either.... but I did take about 40lbs of extra tools, screws, tapes, glues, etc,.... just incase I needed to repair something along the way;)
We are super thankful that all went smoothly and we were able to enjoy the trailer after quite a long build. And very thankful for you guys watching this build progress from a used axle all the way to a travel trailer. Join us as we do our normal camping activities.... fishing, foraging, campfire cooking, meadow golf, relaxation and more!
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any questions! - Joe

More Shop & Trailer Updates and Comment Thoughts Part 2
Today I'm going over some more updates on the shop, trailer, greenhouse, etc,... that I didn't cover in the first video of this AND I'm revisiting my thoughts on some of the types of video comments I receive. BUT, this will be more focused on the positive aspects of comments, instead of the ones that leave me shaking my head ;)
For those who watched the first video, 5:00 - 14:32 is the same update you already saw.... so if you saw that one, you might want to skip ahead after the first few minutes. But if you hadn't seen it.. then by all means watch the whole thing :D
As always, thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions!

Bokashi Composting: Interview with Morgan Coffinger
Morgan's Documentary project:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/compost-evolved-the-zero-food-waste-culture#home
Today we're talking with Morgan Coffinger of BokashiEvolution.com about a rapid method of composting she discovered while working on an organic farm in Hawaii. She has a business in Tempe AZ, where she sells composting kits as well as the Bokashi accelerator bacteria. She currently is preparing to shoot a documentary in New Zealand about bokashi composting and how New Zealander's are using bokashi to help reduce the burden of organic waste going into landfills.
Morgan is available around the Phoenix area and at her website (bokashievolution.com) to help you learn more about this unique composting method and how it might be able to help you turn your food waste into compost and ultimately into food!
Please visit http://www.bokashievolution.com/ for more info about Morgan, her products, and for more info about her upcoming documentary to be filmed in New Zealand!
Hope you guys enjoy and thanks for watching:)
