This is what happens when dogs and cats live together—you end up with cats who secretly think they’re really dogs, and dogs who secretly think they’re really cats. And you also end up with hilarious videos like this one, of a tiny terrier who, firm in the belief that destiny actually intended him for a feline life instead of a canine one, scales the top of his cat companion’s cat tree and scoops up all the cat treats waiting there for himself. The cat in this video appears entirely nonplussed, and who can blame him? It’s not every day that you see a dog who’s willing to climb as high as the typical cat is. And while we’ve seen many, MANY videos of cats who shamelessly commandeer dog beds for their own personal use, it isn’t very often that we come across a video of a dog who has the utter temerity to try to stake a claim to the cat’s property. Cats are known to be fiercely territorial, after all, and in this scenario they’re usually the ones who get the better of their canine companions rather than vice versa. For our part, we can’t help admiring the lengths—or heights, as it were—that this one tenacious terrier is willing to go to just to filch a handful of treats from a cat. Maybe it’s sweet revenge for all those times when his kitty pal took over a human lap or dipped his snout in the dogfood bowl, or perhaps he’s striking a blow for all of dog-kind, and all of those aforementioned videos that show cats happily snoozing on pet furniture that was clearly supposed to belong to the dog. Whatever his motivation, it just goes to show that a little bit of perseverance can get you just about anywhere in life—and even allow you to scale heights that most little <a href="https://rumble.com/v6vslz-otto-bulldog-skater-fun-evening-human-tunnel.html" target="_blank">dogs</a> will never attain.
