On Valentine's Day we traveled over to the state capitol in Honolulu to meet up with Representative Diamond Garcia and show our support for his efforts to pass bills through our legislature that will protect parental rights. Sadly, one of the most important bills never made it to the first committee. This bill would remove all types of sexual content from curriculum and books for all grades under grade three as well as ensure parental consent for any and all medical choices. Apparently here in Hawaii when public servants get called out for violating the law instead of upholding that law, they attempt to change it! HB No. 132 is a bill that was introduced on January 19th that will eliminate the existing language of our statute which calls for audits. HRS§ 16-42 currently provides a safeguard to ensure that machine tabulation is accurately counting our votes. This section of the law is at risk of being stripped away from us through the introduction of this bill. The Office of Elections has refused to acknowledge that HRS§ 16-42 requires that a random audit of ten percent of precincts be conducted to compare the votes cast on the paper ballot match the output of the electronic voting system. We need EVERYONE in the state who was forced to confine themselves within their homes against their will during the unlawful “Safe Travels” program dates to file claims. Healthy individuals who refused to adhere to Covid-19 testing and/or be vaccinated but exercised their God-given right to travel were subjected to false arrest and detainment for doing so with no right to contest such judgment.
