Where the Red River joins the KY River...
I wanted to capture just a short clip of the river so I parked at the boat ramp at the end of College Hill Road in Waco, KY. and flew up the river a little ways and then came back down. Directly across from the boat ramp, you can see where the Red River merges into the Kentucky River. Hope you enjoy...

Flying around the end point of the East Pinnacle
Video captured May 27th, 2018 outside of Berea, KY.
In this short video, I am hovering just off the cliffs of the East Pinnacle. I then circle counter-clockwise around the mountain ending the shot with a slow dolly out perspective view.
You can see Pilot Knob of to the right in the background and the Red Lick area.
Also, you can see two other observation points found at the Pinnacles, Buzzards Roost & Eagle's Nest, as I am coming around East Pinnacle.

The Pinnacles (West Pinnacle - 2017) @ Berea KY
This is a majestic areal view flying from the 'Indian Fort Lookout' to one of several mountain top observation points, the 'West Pinnacle', found just outside of Berea, KY., using the DJI Mavic Pro drone.
I also have a few other aerial videos that I've posted of the other observation points at the Pinnacles and of the Devil's Kitchen, a prehistoric Native American shelter.
Hope you enjoy the video... Try to get up there to hike sometime...
You'll find me climbing the mountain...

Sky Bridge at Red River Gorge in Kentukcy
Kentucky’s Red River Gorge Geological Area in Daniel Boone National Forest boasts more than 150 natural arches—the largest collection east of the Mississippi. Among the easiest to access is Sky Bridge, a peculiarly-shaped aperture resembling something of a mix between a blocky anvil and a brontosaurus. It’s a short (1/4 mile) walk to the top of the bridge, but it’s worth completing the 9/10-mile circuit for multiple views of the arch, as well as the colorful gorge to the north and east. [1]

Step back in time and take a ride through history on the old Valley View Ferry
The Valley View Ferry provides passage over the Kentucky River in rural central Kentucky. Located on Kentucky Route 169, this ferry service connects auto traffic between the county seats of Richmond in Madison County and Nicholasville in Jessamine County. The ferry was founded in 1780, predating Kentucky's admission to the Union in 1792. It is widely regarded as the commonwealth's oldest continually operating business.[1]

Muddy Creek on Weddle's Mill Rd
This was an early route of Kentucky settlers which starts at the mouth of Muddy Creek on the Kentucky River, travels through Doylesville to Union City, and then on towards Richmond.
On this section of the creek, close to the bend that's seen in the footage, I found an old, built-up road bed, about 20 ft in width, which was lined on either side with laid rocks walls approximately 3 1/2 ft tall. The road was barely recognizable due to heavy growth of foliage and paralleled the course of the creek for some distance. This structure was found on only one side of the creek. I figured that it must have been built-up and a bridge of some fashion attached to ease the crossing of the creek during high waters. At the bottom of the structure, within the creek bed, there is a square hole, having 8 inch sides and about 3 inches deep, cut out of the rock. About 10 ft up the creek, I found an iron rod with a diameter of 2 inches, embedded into the creek bed protruding about 4 inches. Not sure of the purpose of the hole nor rod.
