Sometimes, cats and dogs can be friends. In fact, they can be best friends indeed and enjoy their nap time together in the coziness of their shared mattress. These little kittens have tucked in so closely to the Dalmatians and enjoy their afternoon purr lying next to their cute, dotted friends. The handsome <a href="https://rumble.com/v3khnn-3-dalmatian-help-raise-foster-kittens.html" target="_blank">trio of Dalmatians</a> that are Louie, Lady and Zoey have had the ultimate pleasure to act as foster siblings to a litter of kitten that their humans took from a local shelter. The kittens needed some tender love and care from good people, but the love and affection that these tiny furballs got to experience from these spotted hounds is far too much to bear! Zoey, the youngest, 5-month-old pup in the family became quite famous recently, when she imprinted on Calypso, one of the kittens they were fostering, and tried to teach her <a href="https://rumble.com/v3onb5-dalmatian-teaches-foster-kitten-how-to-play-like-a-dog..html" target="_blank">how to play like dog</a>! Even though so incredibly young, it seems these kitties know exactly how lucky they are to be in this huge family, so one of them has been caught showering Louie the Dalmatian with kitty kisses! Awww! These interspecies friendships is what we love most about our job here. Watching endless hours of videos with all sorts of different animals cuddling and playing in harmony warms our hearts and makes us wish we had such pets around.

Louie is very used to Cleo’s antics since he’s been helping raise her since she was 2 weeks old. She is our singleton, bottle fed foster and she loves her foster friend Louie!

While the world was out, acting all crazy over those digital Pokemon, one gentle dog actually had the chance to meet a real one while out hiking! Louie the Dalmatian was out walking with his owner, when when they came across a Weedle, also known as a Tiger Swallowtail Caterpillar. These interspecies encounters can be very interesting to witness. The huge dog - compared to the caterpillar, of course - could have squashed the bug and moved on with his day, but instead Louie recognized the fragile creature and stood close to get to know it better! If it were a human, they would probably even burn the weird looking creature out of fear of it being some sort of brain-eating alien or something! It really shows how animals have a different sense for each other. One might say that the dog doesn’t even look too impressed with the Weedle. He just lay there right next to it, sniffed it once and moved on with his day. He may not be interested in investigating the bug further, or he just may be full of respect for the form of life. In case you were wondering, the caterpillar is safe! Louie’s owner made sure that the unusual critter got away safely from the road.
