We will tattoo several different types of fruit and decide what fruit is the best. If you are just starting out and want to practice tattooing or even hone your skills, fruit can be a great starting point. We will also be seeing if a stencil will transfer to all of the fruit and how well it is to tattoo. Please practice on fruit, fake skin, or pig skin before inviting your friend over for a free tattoo. In Today's Tattoo Tutorial I want to walk you through the process as I tattoo The Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. In this video we will go over the process of putting in your black to laying down soft shading/ light shading. We will also go over putting in white highlights into the eyes and lips. I discuss how to shade with a mag and pack black with a mag needle. Remember think of mags like paint brushes, the larger the area you are working in you may want to use a large magnum needle and the same goes for smaller tighter areas. The most important things to understand is that when the tattoo heals all the light shades will heal to the tone they are, so make sure you use the proper tone when shading. If you use the same tone through out the tattoo it will heal pretty one noted. I am currently learning this stuff as I go and doing my best to share the info I learn along the way, so feel free to share what you learn as well!!!
