Rep. Greg Steube shares game plan if Republicans take control of the House
Elections may not be free and fair everywhere (ahem, Maricopa County, Arizona) but they're pretty straightforward in the state of Florida. I caught up with Congressman Greg Steube on the night of his re-election to Congress. He represents Florida's 17th district.
I asked him about who he'll vote to replace Nancy Pelosi if Republicans in fact take control of the House and his legislative priorities come January.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on future goals for Congress and political accountability
When I met Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, I was struck by how she walks the line between congresswoman and celebrity. I've met and interviewed several politicians at all levels of government throughout my career, and I have never seen someone stopped for so many selfies or autographs. I don't know how MTG grocery shops without paparazzi.
I spoke with the Georgia Congresswoman in Tampa about unfounded Monkeypox hysteria, political accountability for prominent families like the Biden family, and her top priority if she's re-elected this November.

USPS suspends mail service to Santa Monica neighborhood over attack(s) on workers
UPDATE -- Mail service has resumed, according to Garvins. She sent me this statement on Wednesday, April 13:
"Delivery services have resumed for the 1300 block of 14th Street, Santa Monica. Conditions on the route will be reviewed continuously to ensure the safety of our employees. Our continuous, reliable service is a hallmark of USPS and we appreciate the understanding and support we’ve received from the Santa Monica community while we navigate this issue. The Postal Inspection Service is aware of the issues that caused the temporary suspension of delivery and they are in consultation with the Santa Monica Police Department. Since it’s an active investigation, no other details can be shared."
ORIGINAL STORY:
"You've got mail!"
Well, if you've got mail in part of Santa Monica, you may have to go grab it yourself from the post office.
You may have seen the headlines that the U.S. Postal Service is suspending mail service to a Santa Monica neighborhood. I was curious about it too, so I reached out to Natashi Garvins, the media spokesperson to USPS in LA County.
"In response to the matter involving delivery services in Santa Monica, over the last several months, we have had three separate incidents in the 1300 block of 14th street in Santa Monica involving three separate letter carriers," she told me. "For the safety of our employees, we have had to temporarily suspend delivery of mail to these customers. However, mail is available for pickup at the Main Post Office located on 7th Street. This is an unusual, but necessary step to protect our employees."
In this quick video, we discuss the Santa Monica Police Department's somewhat different account of events to its knowledge. In fact, the department said it learned about the USPS decision through Twitter.

Incredible police escort for Tennessee sergeant killed by drunk semi-truck driver
Chris Jenkins was with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years, it said. I was driving through the South on Friday and this struck me. I’ve seen plenty of police escorts all over the country, but this one was endless blue and red lights with people stopping to pay tribute on overpasses. A Texas man is already facing charges. Rest In Peace.

Spotify: A summary of the financial relationship between Neil Young, other companies, and Pfizer
The following are you coincidences - not conclusions. All of this information can be found publicly within a minute or two with a few simple Google searches. Financial transparency with companies is vital.
In this quick video, I break down the Neil Young and Joe Rogan Spotify debate, quickly highlighting the financial relationship between Hipgnosis, Blackstone, and Pfizer.
If you're looking for a deeper rabbit hole, look at the financial influence of Blackstone in general. For example, Blackstone took a majority stake in Bumble in 2021. Weeks later, the White House and CDC announced it was teaming up with Bumble to have people share their vaccination status on their dating profiles. The list goes on.
I have reached out to both Spotify and Hipgnosis for interviews and haven't heard back yet.
