At those times, we can’t expect them to be able to mind their manners as well as usual. Haven't we all been in this situation before? Growing up (and probably to this day!) we all love to sit in the front seat of the car - especially when it comes to long drives and road trips. There is so much more leg room and you even have full access to the radio and most important, the music! If you have an opportunity to sit in the front seat, why wouldn't you? Zeus, who happens to be one very stubborn husky, also loves to sit up there in the front with his owner. Once he is there, no one is going to move him from his comfy spot with a good view! He feels like he called dibs on the front seat, so it's only fair if he gets to stay there. His owner on the other hand doesn't really approve of it and decides to tell him to move to the back. Apparently getting him to move though isn't going to happen anytime soon! He continues to whimper, and doesn't budge one bit, so funny! According to his owner, Zeus has been guilty of these tantrums on a few occasions! Some of these include protesting walks, protesting treats, or simply refusing to leave his cozy bed during a nap. Can you blame him? He just wants everything to go his way! On the other hand, it's also important to note that huskies are very affectionate with their families and are always up for family bonding time! Zeus the extremely stubborn husky argues his case on a Saturday morning.

It's the middle of a cold snap and Zeus is sprawled out in the middle of the cold patio at 11:00pm and won't come in the house. Of course he whines and cries to protest coming in, meanwhile waking the neighbors!

Owners train dogs to go outside when nature calls, but sometimes they have accidents. We do our best to take them out or walk them when we can, but there are times when you have to leave them home alone for many hours. This may be what happened with Zeus, the Husky. This hilarious video perfectly depicts how to get away with poop accidents. Zeus tries to cover up his accident when his owner confronts him about the mess he made on the floor. Zeus the husky is back again with a new tantrum. In every one of his videos he finds something to be fussy about and gets involved into a <a href="https://rumble.com/v48ikv-husky-argues-about-stealing-tennis-shoe.html" target="_blank">never-ending argument</a> sometimes winning and sometimes losing. Nevertheless, he is always on the edge of doing the unreasonable and he always knows hot to make the most of the situation he puts himself into. This time he doesn’t want to get out of bed and as many times before, he sets his iron will and vocal nature in motion. Once he fixates his mind on something, nothing and nobody can change it. He is a real master of <a href="https://rumble.com/v4jtwr-stubborn-husky-protests-a-treat.html" target="_blank">sparking protests</a>. It is simply in his Husky nature and you can either accept it or….accept it. There is not a force in this world that can make him think otherwise. Either way it is a win-win situation for him. Among many favourite spots in his home, today this bed is on the top of the list. He has already decided to roll around in there and doesn’t plan on getting out anytime soon. He doesn’t mind being asked at least six times to get out of bed and to stop being a diva but he just can’t help himself. He does this every time he picks something with which he can humor himself. Zeus is a real cry baby, throwing tantrums over trivial things. Even the other dogs around the house have learned that he has a thick skull and they do not wish to meddle in his business. And every time he shows his dissatisfaction it is usually for no reason whatsoever. His fuss is almost always accompanied by a prolonged and ear-piercing howl thats is way better than that of the wolves. But Zeus will be Zeus no matter what.

Zeus the Stubborn Husky has had some big changes recently! He now has some competition for the most stubborn and crying member of the family! His new brother Leo was stubborn and remained breach during pregnancy and came out crying and peeing on everything (just like Zeus)! Zeus has been settling in with his new brother and is very attentive to him. The family has slowly introduced Zeus to Leo and Zeus enjoys laying near the baby. Zeus the Stubborn Husky stole his brother's birthday bone (Kaden's birthday is February 10th!) and they remained in a stand still for who knows how long prior to being discovered! Zeus is a jealous husky and does not always share well. Kaden is very understanding of Zeus's antics after all these years together (5 total!). Zeus was losing weight and he went to the vet at the end of August 2020. He had an ultrasound today which discovered a large tumor (likely non-cancerous, but large and serious) on his liver, and pushing on his stomach. He will have a surgical consult Tuesday 9/8/20 followed by surgery (hopefully) that same day. Zeus came home from the vet today and seemed to be sulking (he had his belly shaved). Of course he was being dramatic and acted like he didn't want to go for a car ride. He eventually popped up and went. Fortunately his energy level and mischievous antics are still present despite these medical concerns. And his protesting and stubborn nature are still in full stride! Huskies - if you didn’t see all that fur, you might think that they are just tiny grumbling toddlers. Meet Zeus, the grumpiest dog there ever was. Okay, probably not, but he’s somewhere at the top of the canine grumpiness list. It seems that he has a snide commentary to everything in the vicinity, from his <a href="https://rumble.com/v30j56-siberian-husky-temper-tantrum.html" target="_blank">shower time</a>, to his walks and now, apparently he has something to say about his mom’s new <a href="https://rumble.com/v311bc-bosley-the-frenchie-throws-a-temper-tantrum.html" target="_blank">car</a>. Zeus is at it again, but this time the object of his scrutiny is his mom’s new Honda CRV. The canine can be seen very uncooperative, firmly seated and extremely vocal in the trunk of the new car. We think we might need a translator for the exact words that are being said, but we are pretty sure it goes something along the lines of “your car sucks, mom, it doesn’t have a proper bed and a juicy bone.” It looks like Zeus isn’t impressed with the less than 5 star hotel ride so he wants to make sure that his mom is aware of it. He downright refuses to get out of the car until he has made himself clear. Ah, Zeus, you are too funny!

Whatever Zeus sets his doggy mind to, he will not take not for an answer until it gets done the way he wants it! Zeus is your typical Husky, headstrong and as vocal as they come! It seems he doesn’t want to outside, because every time his owner asks him if he wants to go for a walk, Zaus answers by howling louder and louder! Why is it that a dog known for it’s breeds athleticism can be so lazy? He's acting just like a toddler! Zeus isn’t unique in his stubbornness - his breed should take the blame! Zeus the stubborn husky was recently introduced to his new baby brother, but by the looks of it, he's starting to feel a bit jealous over all of the attention the baby is getting. It was discovered that he chewed up the babies monitoring saw! Completely destroying it! The evidence left behind included a tuft of his fur on the Velcro part! Don't let Zeus fool you, he still gets to go out for walks and runs, car rides, and snuggles in the bed with his family. Although having a baby is a big life change, he has been able to continue to enjoy his creature comforts!

Zeus the Stubborn Husky chewed up his brother's toy when no one was looking! He had the cone on from when he was recovering from a ruptured anal gland (ouch!). Visits to the veterinarian are a part of everyday life and can be stressful for dogs and humans alike. Although we may try but we can’t really talk our pups through everything that’s going to happen. If you can make your puppy’s vet visits relaxed, it won’t develop anxiety about future appointments. However, not all dogs hate vet visits. You well remember Zeus the Stubborn Husky. He loves his vet, Dr. Yenser, but he does get a little impatient while waiting! We can all relate to that! Do you remember the video about Zeus the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3hdcl-stubborn-husky-refuses-to-give-up-seat.html" target="_blank">stubborn</a> and independent Siberian Husky that would not stop howling just because his owner did not let him go outside? Well, guess what, Zeus is back again with his usual sass. This time Zeus shows that he can’t bear the time he needs to spend waiting at the vet’s office, so the only logical thing he can do is his customary howl. Having watched so many videos with Zeus, we are already used to the way he reacts when something doesn’t turn like he has imagined. What’s difficult for Zeus is the enclosed space of the waiting room and the anxiety associated with waiting. You can’t <a href="https://rumble.com/v4ymbp-some-days-you-just-need-a-little-convincing....html" target="_blank">take this husky on a walk</a> then make it sit about and do nothing, so maybe he tends to associate the vet with anxiety and boredom. He definitely doesn’t need to arrive at the vet’s office too early and one possible solution for his restlessness would be to bring a toy or do something productive while he is waiting. All people have something they fear from, or they hate, some people hate spiders, some people hate the hot weather, and some people hate spicy food. It is what it is, and we can't love everything in the world. Right? But, when it comes to a dog, we know what they hate the most, and it's not cats or even baths. It's the cone of shame. They hate when they have to wear that thing! Also if it's for their good, they absolutely hate it. The lampshade. The Elizabethan collar. The cone of shame. No matter how you call it, possibilities are your dog isn't going to like the thought of having to wear a cone while a wound heals. They turn into drama queens when they wear it and we have a <a href="https://rumble.com/v7l0hv-drama-queens.html" target="_blank">drama queen</a> here to prove that. Take a look at Zeus and his thoughts about wearing the cone of shame. Zeus recently had a growth removed from his eyelid and needs to wear the "cone of shame" until his eye heals. He's not happy about having to wear the cone again after he had to wear it on and off all spring and summer due to hot spots. In complete Zeus fashion, he is negotiating and trying to look cute to gain sympathy, and removal of the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3o1ao-poor-siberian-husky-got-an-accident-wearing-a-cone-for-the-first-time..html" target="_blank">cone</a>! Even though it seems cruel to put one on them, remember that it is a critical medical tool and they have to wear it. Leaving the E collar on consistently is the ideal approach to get your pet accustomed to it. If you feel awful for your pet and take the cone off, at that point set it back on when you leave, your pet may accept it as a discipline and may attempt to crush it. Don't worry. Your dog can eat, drink, pee, and lay down with a cone on. Indeed, the stricter you are with the cone, the quicker they will become acclimated to it. Moreover, pets don't hold feelings of resentment, so they won't be frantic at you for being severe with the guidelines. To be honest, who wants to have a cone around their neck all the time? We would hate it too, but we know that we will do anything for our dogs and sometimes that can be putting a cone on their head for their own good, even though they hate and you hate it too! Zeus the Stubborn Husky has his hoo-mans trained pretty well. He’s also quite a character and very vocal. He was recently at the vet and is starting to get some arthritis in his back left hip. The vet said not to push him for longer than he wants to go on walks and runs. It was a new vet (shout out to Dr Mosebey) and CLEARLY he doesn’t know Zeus yet! Zeus will not move if Zeus does not want to! But he will howl and cry and demand attention and treats, which he gets frequently. Zeus and Kaden both gave 4 paws up for ROAM’s Croc Jerky, which is what they got in this video. They love to spend time with you and always seem to make your day a little brighter! Even when they're being stubborn like this dog Zeus, they still love you so much! They're just so comfortable with you, awesome! They have a very high energy level so it is very unlikely you'll ever be bored with these dogs around! Huskies are an absolutely gorgeous type of dog, and are probably the closest to their wolf ancestors in terms of appearance. The term "husky" actually refers to a few different breeds of dogs used for sled pulling and includes breeds like the Alaskan malamute and the American Akita among others. They are highly intelligent, energetic, active, and strong-willed dogs. Unlike some other types of dogs, huskies have a comparatively lower drive to please their masters. They can be pretty independent, and when getting them to do something against their wills can be challenging. In fact, owners being unable to manage a husky's big personality is one of the biggest reasons these dogs are abandoned or returned to shelters. This is why they say huskies are stubborn! They're very smart but they have low motivation to please their owners. Living with this guy is a constant battle of wills as he cries, whines, and howls when he doesn't get his way! Zeus the Stubborn Husky has been diagnosed with a large liver tumor which may be inoperable. We hope to get good news during surgery which is tentatively schedule for Friday September 11th, 2020. Zeus had lost some weight which prompted a vet visit, and ultimately the discovery of the tumor. His appetite has lessened (despite being on medication) due to the tumor pushing on his stomach. His meals have been cubed steak and grilled chicken, some of his favorites. Despite these yummy offerings, he's struggled to eat all his meals and snacks. It has taken some coaxing and tricking to get him to eat (including peer pressure from Kaden!). Follow Zeus on his journey, which we hope will be for many more years yet.
