Jumbo Peacock Bass fishing in Colombia
Raymond recently decided to take a break from saltwater fishing and join some good friends for freshwater fishing in beautiful Columbia. The main target for the group were giant peacock bass. This is definitely the trip you will want to be on if catching a record-breaking fish is waiting to be ticked off your bucket list!

Chesterfield Island Huge Dogtooth Tunas!
In January of 2016 made his first trip to fish in the Chesterfield Islands area of the South Pacific. This is reached by leaving from the northern port of New Caledonia, Koumac.
For this trip Sami was joined by good friends Wahib, Nichlas, and Nick. The crew fished with Captain Olivier and his first mate Nico of Powercat Charters.
Although the wind was very strong and some difficulty in landing the dogtooths on jig, the guys still managed to land some really nice size dogtooth tunas, including a big one on Race Point 150 and Siren lure.
In September of 2014, Sami traveled with Dorian, George and Arthur to New Caledonia to fish with Powercat Charters,
For 5 days the crew popped and jigged, with the main targets being dogtooth tuna and giant trevally.
Sami: "To sum this trip up and give its fairness - I must say that we encountered one of the best Dogtooth tuna bites ever!
Defeated would be an understatement to what we saw and ran into at that part of the world. The highlight is that so far I’m booking 2 trips for 2015 season and 2016."
