Check out the moment that Macy the cat refuses to let her sister Lady the Retriever/Lab go outside. Lady loves the cat but is absolutely terrified of her despite her sizeable weight advantage. On the other hand, Macy has a significant dislike for the dog and loves to torment her at every opportunity. Here, Lady wants to come outside to see her Mum and Dad. Despite much encourage, Macy takes great pleasure in blocking her path so the dog can not exit. There’s plenty of room for the dog to get past but her fear of the cat prevents her from doing so. The dog made it outside eventually but only after the cat has decided to move on!

Going to the park is one of Lady’s favourite things to do. Is she hasn’t been during the day, she hangs around waiting until it’s time. In this video, watch as Lady is asked “Do you want to go to the park?”. It always results in an excited response, asking and almost pleading to go. It’s kinda obvious that she wants to go! At the park, Lady loves all dogs, particular ones much smaller than her. She wants to be everyone’s best friend. Dog’s her size she approaches with caution, unsure of their motive. But before long, she’s off running with them, although she is must slower than all the other dogs with her long loping action. Nonetheless, she loves to play and talk to the other dogs. In this video, she relaxes in front of a Golden Retriever Puppy compilation video. She loves to watch the other dogs play but should a threatening animal appear, she begins to growl and bark in order to protect her family. We all love a lazy session in the front of the TV. Lady loves to lie on the cool tiles on a hot Australian summers day, even more so when she gets to watch her favourite animal channels on YouTube!

Watch as Lady the Lab/Retriever tries so very hard to stay awake. Using her favourite blanket as a pillow, Lady's eyes are so very heavy as she battles to stay awake. This dog has serious FOMO so always tries her hardest to stay awake whenever possible. As the tail starts to wag, she grabs hold of her blanket and offers it as a gift. Sharing her blanket is her favourite thing to do, regardless of whether you want it or not. She's not up for long before going to back to sleep, with her trusty blanket as a pillow once again!

We all know there is no better feeling than enjoying a nap on a Lazy Sunday afternoon. Watch 11 year domestic cat Macy enjoy her Sunday snooze, flat out on her back, enjoying the warm Australian afternoon. However, that Sunday snooze can come to an abrupt end and if you're anything like me (and Macy), waking up from that nap can leave one a little grumpy. In this video, Macy is having a nap on the back doorstep, at first enjoying the tummy rub before waking up with a bit of a fright! She loves a tummy rub but clearly not when it wakes her up. These 2 aren’t usually the best of friends, Lady loves the cat but that love is not returned in the same fashion. Seizing any opportunity to get one up on her sister, Macy decides to take over her bed, enjoying a Sunday nap. Lady is not too sure what to think, if she likes the idea of sharing her bed with the cat or whether she wants her out. At least one of the 2 seems happy with the outcome!

Watch as this beautiful Lab/Retriever is caught sleeping in her parents bed and she knows she’s not allowed! Lady is part of the family but as with all families, there are rules. One of those rules is she’s not allowed in her parents bedroom, let alone on the bed. In this video, Lady is caught doing exactly that. Not only is she on the bed, she’s managed to pull the bedspread over herself to keep warm. A dead giveaway when’s caught doing something wrong, the tail starts to wag, in the hope she might be allowed to stay just this once. After all, the damage has already been done right?

Watch as this usually placid Retriever/Lab want to save Baxter from the Bear on Anchorman! Whilst watching Anchorman at home, my beautiful dog Lady jumped up form her slumber when she saw Baxter come under threat from the bear in the closing scenes. Usually very calm, she aggressively jumps up at the TV and barks loudly (which she never does) at the sight of the Bear. Thankfully Baxter is able to communicate with the Bear and calm the situation. Much to Lady the dogs pleasure!

Whatever it was... it must have been good! I have no idea what bought this on. I was trying to send a video message to my niece when this happened! Maybe she was just preparing herself to look her best for the video or had something very good just before. Whatever the reason, check out the satisfaction on her face!

With her Mumma overseas, Golden Retriever sends a very excited message to her Mumma! Lady loves her Mum more than anything and when she was overseas for the 3 weeks recently, we made sure she kept in regular contact. Watch her reaction to her Mumma’s name, pure excitement and joy at the prospect of speaking to her online!

Retriever/Labrador will not drop her toy to talk! Talking on command is usually an easy trick for Lady but not when she has her toy in her mouth. Watch as she refuse to do as she’s told for fear of dropping her toy!

But only for so long until she gives in!
