Most of all they require your companionship and a forever home. Many people decide after the first few years of parrot ownership that the responsibility is too great and the parrots become neglected and sometimes abandoned. When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3 year old child for the rest of your life!"

12-Year-Old Girl Demonstrates Her Fantastic Singing Skills

Kids always have some of the best videos on the Internet. They never fail to amaze or surprise us. They are usually so cute or funny and they can do anything to make us smile. Lots of videos include kids surprising us with talents well beyond their years. They can range from a small child reading at a very young age, having a talent like playing an instrument, or much like the girl in this video being an extraordinary singer at such a young age. This girl is practicing her singing and we can tell she is a really good singer. Her voice probably hasn’t even fully developed yet, and she is already so good. She definitely has an amazing talent and it is so awesome they chose to share it. Seeing how good she is now, you can only imagine how good she’ll be when she grows up. Her voice will develop more and she will practice more, she might even be a contestant on “American Idol” or “The Voice”! The young girl does a very amazing performance in what seems to be an empty church, and it is so amazing how talented kids can be! This is definitely a very inspiring and very uplifting video! Hopefully, this won’t be her last video showing off her talent! The young girl in the video, Ansley Burns, is only 12 years old and sings like a pro ! She is practicing her singing in what seems to be in an empty church she attends. Maybe she is practicing for an upcoming holiday performance! Ansley should definitely be a member of the church choir! She is singing a song called “How Great Thou Art” which is a Christian-based poem, that has been redone and covered by many popular artists over the years. Even if you are not a religious person, this is still a great video of a young 12 year old showing off her abilities. Ansley has a beautiful voice and she is well beyond her years. People will definitely be amazed by how well she sings, and it is always a joy to find a new talent. The video begins and Ansley is standing in front of the pulpit and starts singing. Hopefully the church will have an occasion where this amazing voice would be heard. It seems she has been practicing quite a bit since she doesn’t need to read the lyrics at all! She has an amazing voice and there are no notes that sound off! Her stage presence seems pretty good too for someone so young. Although there is no one watching at the moment, she seems very comfortable and even has great hand movements while singing. Hopefully she isn’t nervous for her upcoming performance! She hits some incredible high notes and her singing will no doubt attract everybody’s attention in the room. She has a very bright future if she continues down the path of singing! We wish young Ansley much luck with her singing!

Silverback Gorilla breaks up vicious fight between females1m17s

Silverback Gorilla breaks up vicious fight between females

The Silverback western lowland gorilla from the Twycross Zoo is flexing his muscles when he charges over to break up the fighting females. It is quite terrifying to see how powerful the male is and to hear all the screams from the two female gorillas. Lope the eldest son is being his usual self and has a go at Biddy his grandma. Grandma is having none of it this time and pushes Lope away. Ozala that sits beside her sees this and has a go at her mother for having a go at Lope. The watchful eye of the Silverback gorilla Oumbi reacts in an instant, the way a Silverback should and launches himself towards the females, trying to break up the fight between Ozala and Biddy. Little Shufai runs towards the two females the same time Oumbi was moving. He first clung on to Biddi and then when mum emerged he clung on to her back, and was holding on right through the middle of it all. Biddy then got pushed out of the door by Oumbi, and then Oumbi has a go at Ozala. Lope did not get involved at first, he just looked at them, seemingly in shock that he might of caused the fight, but then he did get involved and he went for dad, grabbing his backside. When Oumbi let go and run away, Lope still had a hold of his back. A very noisy Ozala had go at Oumbi, while Oumbi did a few more laps running around until he went into the back to calm down. Biddy came back in from the back entrance. When Oumbi came out from the back again, he went into the corner, still quite agitated looking. Asante comes down from her top bunk, obviously witnessing it all from above. A little later when Oumbi comes out from the back, Lope makes way and you can see Ozala in the back with Shufai . She’s giving Oumbi the evil eye and everybody is staying well clear of the silverback. The most sorry you feel for the baby gorilla Shufai, putting himself in the middle of it all. Oumbi did a great job in breaking up the female fight.Even though Ozala started the fight by overreacting they seem to blame the Silverback. Everything was fine afterwards, no one got physically hurt, only their pride.

Massive whale sharks swims right through group of scuba divers58s

Massive whale sharks swims right through group of scuba divers

Whale sharks are the biggest fish in the world. They are believed to reach lengths of over 55 feet and weights of over 100,000 pounds. It is difficult to verify these numbers with animals so large, but there is no debate that next to some whales, they are the largest animals on the planet. They are sharks, not whales, yet they are harmless to people. Filter feeders, they open their gaping mouths to collect krill, plankton, tiny fish, and the eggs of some fish species. Consuming huge quantities of tiny animal life, they grow rapidly to enormous sizes. To a scuba diver, there are few sights as wondrous as that of the whale shark. Some divers spend a lifetime hoping for the opportunity to see one up close. They dream of the moment when one will pass by, allowing them a glimpse of their majesty. These divers from Float n' Flag Dive Centre have journeyed to the Galapagos Islands aboard The Galapagos Sky, a vessel that takes them to the remote islands in search of hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, marine iguanas and other creatures that very few people will ever see. The whale sharks are occasionally seen in this area as well, although there are no guarantees, and their name is whispered among the guides and tourists who seek them out. "The lady" as she is referred to is held in high regard among those who understand how special she is. These divers were swimming through the ocean at 60 feet, admiring beautiful creatures and sights when the guide began shaking his underwater noise maker to signal to the divers that something unusual was happening. As they all turned to see, a massive whale shark appeared out of the blue, sweeping it's 10 foot high tail back and forth as it followed the current. The shark swam right between divers in the group as they help up cameras and stared in disbelief. Passing within 2-3 feet of the cameraman, he was able to capture footage of the great beast's tail as it passed. The sound of the water turbulence left in it's wake can actually be heard momentarily as the tail missed the camera by mere inches. These gentle giants have no teeth and have never attacked humans. They are among the most gentle of creatures and pose no threat to divers. Strict rules prohibit divers from touching the animals in the Galapagos, and most places in the world, as tempting as it may be. This shark is a pregnant female who will give birth in the near future to hundreds of young whale sharks. Although they come to the Galapagos Islands to feed, nobody knows much about where they give birth, or where the young whale sharks spend their early years. With one of the most distinctive skin patterns in the animal kingdom, they are also one of the most beautiful animals. When this lady passed through and disappeared into the blue, these lucky divers all turned to each other in wide eyed wonder, fully aware of how privileged they were to share such an experience.

Cyclist escapes death on unguarded train level crossing

ProRail is engaged in a battle to lift all unguarded crossings in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, this sometimes takes a long time in connection with all kinds of conversations that have to be conducted behind the scenes, for example with local residents, municipalities, provinces and other parties that have an interest in such a level crossing. Often others want to keep an unguarded crossing, because it is an important crossing for them. A frequently heard argument for maintaining this kind of consideration is that people 'can look after themselves'. Unfortunately, we see other signals in practice, as can be seen here on the video. ProRail does not consider the best level crossing and continues the battle. Credit: ProRail
