This video is all about the inventions of having WiFi in plant pots! Definitely a very creative invention and could be very useful to all citizens and can easily be concealed in a small pot! This Spanish company wondered if plants could be used for solar panels and electricity due to the abundance of plants. They thought they could benefit us with technology as well! They came up with this WiFi plant box that when you set your phone next to it, it gives you WiFi, the main attraction here is that is concealed in a small flower pot. This would look great around the room and you don’t have to have a big cable box supplying wife but a small pot that blends in with the room!
Pablo Vidarte is the 22-year-old man behind this creation and is trying to change the world! The planet giving the people signs that we are causing damage to it is what made Pablo start on this journey. From the climate change to the increasing pollution levels Pablo wanted to make a change! They are able to get electricity from plants because of the substances that are created by the plant after photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process used by plants that converts sunlight to chemical energy later used to fuel the activities of the plant! They can break down these substances and get electrons from them thus creating the electricity. Obviously, they can’t control some factors in nature such as cloudy days or raining or windy, but they are progressing. This system can clean the air and can change carbon dioxide levels very much. Their plan is to have panels that can sustain whole families!
They have projects going on around the world and are working with companies to apply their new technology in many different avenues! From the lights in parks or on the roads, being used in smart cities, this team is definitely trying to help out the world and environment! Hopefully, Pablo says that with the direction they are headed in, forests around the world can act as <a href="https://rumble.com/v30k63-hydroelectric-power-plant-drone-4k-.html" target="_blank">power plants</a>, but instead of destroying the environment, they will be helping it! This project will take a lot more people to come on board so they can have a big impact. It will take everyone’s effort to get the environment back on track. Pablo is very hopeful this can happen, he is definitely a very ambitious man!

How often do you see new buildings or structures under construction in your neighborhood? Often times it feels like this building process is going on forever and never seems to come to an ending. Usually before cities start these big projects, they give an estimated finish date that is usually always wrong and usually very far off than the actual finishing date.
Most people wish there was some way to hold these workers and the city accountable for the never-ending construction. This video discusses a Brazilian app that is used for tracking the progress of city buildings and lets the city know about its progress. It sounds like a great idea and it’s definitely beneficial to the people of the city!
This app called “Ta de Pe” by Transparency Brazil allows the user to take pictures of buildings that are <a href="https://rumble.com/v3pe77-velodrome-under-construction-in-detroit.html" target="_blank">under construction</a> and send them to track the progress. In the video users are taking pictures of an under-construction kindergarten building. The app will recognize the area and the building you are taking a picture of and will then give the information about the deadline and tracks to see if it is reaching the set goals. You can even leave comments on the pictures you sent! This seems like such a useful app!
The photos are then sent to Transparency Brazil, and with this information they decide whether their building is behind scheduled or on schedule. With this information they can change the deadline, work more diligently, or change the way they construct the building. You can see in the video that all ages are using this app to make sure their city buildings are actually built on schedule.
Most of these buildings seem to be kindergartens and schools, so it is amazing to see kids being proactive about the buildings. Since young adults always have their phones on them it is very convenient to be walking by a building and take a quick picture. The kids claim it is extremely easy to use which is very important!
The company that runs the <a href="https://rumble.com/v64coq-5-most-useful-apps-for-android-users-hindi.html" target="_blank">app</a>, Transparency Brazil, is an organization that has been around for 17 years and fights against corruption in Brazil. They created this app because of all the money that was being invested into schools but there were few buildings to show for all the money that was being invested. This app is giving more power to the people of the society, which is exactly how it should be! It makes the people actually feel like they have a voice and a say in what happens in their city.
Transparency Brazil actually joined Google’s Social challenge in 2016, a challenge to impact society. This app definitely seems to do that in a big way! Apparently, they got a lot of backing from Google, who really enjoyed their idea and their plan for change. They have partnered with a sector of their government which will help keep the information flowing. This is such a great idea and it should be implemented in many different societies around the world! Great job Transparency Brazil!

Have you ever heard of Vantablack? Probably not, but it is becoming increasing popular in the scientific world and it is a matter of a material that is used for coating things. It is chemical substance that is made using vertically aligned carbon nanotube arrays. This is considered to be the <a href="https://rumble.com/v4g4s9-s2-ep25-did-dark-energy-just-disappear.html" target="_blank">darkest</a> material on Earth.
It actually captures 99.9% of the light that hits it and because of this it easily masks its shape and formation! It appears as a pitch black and the VANTA in its name actually stands for vertically aligned nanotube arrays. It is currently trademarked by Surrey Nanosystems and it can be used to keep light from reflecting so it can be useful for telescopes. You can see why it is currently a hot commodity, as there are a ton of uses for it!
Ben Jensen, founder and CTO of Surrey Nanosystems, talks a bit about the making and use of Vantablack. It is particularly useful for the space, the automotive industry, the different electronics, etc. This material is basically pitch black, and that is a little bit disturbing. Think of going into a windowless room at night and turning off all the lights. It is so dark that it appears as a mask from one angle, but it looks like a black plane as well! This is one very fascinating technology!
Keep watching the video as it describes the process of creating the Vantablack. It involves three big machine chambers, one where they put the substances, the second for the catalyst used for growing the Vantablack, and the third is where the <a href="https://rumble.com/v2z91i-vantablack-the-closest-thing-on-earth-to-a-black-hole.html" target="_blank">Vantablack</a> actually grows! Seems like a lot of components for this material! Jensen was originally working at the University of Surrey where he was working with nanotube synthesis equipment. They eventually developed an equipment that allowed them to make the Vantablack, which is the current world record holder for being the blackest material ever created!
They actually coated an entire building in South Korea in preparation for the 2018 Winter Olympics! The building looks very strange and is looks like a big black square sort of like a cube cut from space and inserted into the city of PyeongChang! The architect behind this, Asif Khan, wanted it to look like looking into space. They even studded the building with little lights appearing as stars in the deep space! It is definitely very creative and imaginative!
If you get close enough, you would be staring into the dark walls without seeing the sky behind it or the streets to the side. This is Khan’s goal of keeping viewers immersed in the matter! Aside from capturing the light, this Vantablack actually repels water as well. It comes in a spray paint form, therefore, you can apply this pitch-black substance to almost anything with ease!
Aside from the spray paint version it can be applied directly with the vacuum deposition technology. This is a very impressive material and it has been shown to have multiple uses. From being used in technology to finding its way up in space or down in cars, to even having a use in art and architecture. This material is bound to grow even more popular!
