Luckily, Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch applied his bob-and-weave runningback moves to his bike, because he was nearly retired from Earth by a city bus while flashing some fancy moves for spectators. The hold time of his wheelie was impressive, but we'd prefer Beastmode to be a little more careful when running through traffic these days.
The Los Angeles Clippers have been able to keep the ship afloat despite a slew of injuries to key players, including Blake Griffin and Chris Paul. They'll potentially have to deal with more. During their Monday night contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Chris Paul ran into Russell Westbrook off an Enes Kanter screen, injuring CP3's thumb. Paul frustratedly kicked a chair on his way out to have the thumb examined. Coach Doc Rivers said early tests came back negative, and the injury is likely a sprain.
NBA baller Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Knicks in 2011 after starting his career with the Nuggets back in 2003 as the 3rd overall pick in the draft. Since being drafted, Melo has become a 9-time NBA all-star, an NBA scoring champion and most importantly a dad. The past few days their has been a lot of talk of Carmelo possibly leaving the New York Knicks to play elsewhere after Phil Jackson wrote a column critiquing Melo saying “ Carmelo Anthony has outlived his usefulness in New York”. Now although Jackson may feel this way there isn’t much he can do about it, Anthony currently has a no trade clause in his contract and would have to agree to any deal made. With all this going on Melo decided to close out all the nose and talk and just talk some basketball with his favorite person, his son Kyian. Kyian has shown he’s a little all star in the making with the help of his coach dad. Earlier this season the 9 year old was getting in some practice after the Knicks practice.
The Cleveland Cavaliers just didn't seem to have an answer for the Golden State Warriors offensive onslaught Monday night, so LeBron James reverted to some of his old tricks, resorting to a classic, overacted flop. Bron-Bron looked like he was dropped in the middle of Afghanistan.
It looks like the Golden State Warrior are tired of messing around with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Draymond Green tallied a triple-double, while the Splash Brothers threw daggers from beyond the arc. Even LeBron James was powerless on Monday night, as Kevin Durant had his number, punctuated by a vicious block. The 35-point blowout was a small measure of revenge for Golden State's blown Finals lead, and the controversial ending to this season's Christmas Day game.
In an effort to raise his trade stock, the Philadelphia 76ers started Jahlil Okafor over Joel Embiid. Okafor shined, posting 26 points and 9 rebounds in a 113-104 Sixers win over the Milwaukee Bucks. One fan didn't seem to thrilled, and is apparently an Embiid fan, because he made his frustrations known on Twitter. Papa Okafor quickly clapped back with an offer to put the paws on 'em.
We all know that Steph Curry is about to come into some serious coin when it's time to renegotiate his contract, but how has the back-to-back NBA MVP been handling the shortchanging on his current contract? Steph opens up about teammates that make more money than him, which include Draymond Green and Kevin Durant.
The Kansas City Chiefs were the only team to actually score a touchdown during Sunday night's divisional round playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In fact, the Chiefs scored TWO touchdowns. And yet, they somehow still came away with a loss. They had the chance to tie it up at the end of regulation with a successful two-point conversion that was called back on a holding penalty. The following attempt failed, and the Chiefs lost 18-16. Tight end Travis Kelce couldn't let the loss go, and let the refs have it on what he felt was a poor judgment call in such a clutch moment in the contest.
This was supposed to be the Cowboys' year. After a thrilling season led by a rookie duo of Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescott, Dallas ran into a sizzling hot Green Bay Packers team that seems poised for a Super Bowl run. After last-second heroics by Mason Crosby, the Cowboys were sent home with a 34-31 loss. And Cowboys fans did not take it well.
The basketball player-turned NFL tight end trend continues, and while it would appear that Kevin Durant has aspirations to become a two-sport athlete, maybe he should just stick to being a deadeye shooter. KD recently showed off his best moves at the line of scrimmage, and well, let's just say anyone would be a lockdown corner going up against him.
Love 'em or hate 'em, the Curry family knows how to have a good time. Steph took a break from draining 47 of 50 3-pointers to vibe out with the wifey Ayesha to Too Short's 'Blow the Whistle.' This is just the latest in a series of hilarious social media posts by the couple over the years, which has included lip-syncing to Disney songs, and Newlywed Game-style parodies.
Russell Westbrook BURIES Kings with Killer Dunk, 20th Triple-Double - Unanimous MVP? Desc: Russell Westbrook has completely taken over the 2016-2017 NBA season, placing the entire Oklahoma City Thunder on his back. He showed up and showed out again against the Sacramento Kings. Despite a valiant effort by DeMarcus Cousins, Russell Westbrook was just too much, posting 36 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the Thunder take down the Kings 122-118.
Check out this spear by the Spurs Coyote mascot that would make Goldberg proud. It perfectly summarizes what teams have been doing to the Los Angeles Lakers since Kobe died. The San Antonio Spurs were coming off a 2-point home loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, and not in a good mood. They dismantled the Lakers with a 40-point win, including Pau Gasol's perfect 9-for-9 shooting for 22 points. Julius Randle was the lone bright spot for the Lakers, finishing with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The rest of the Lakers, however, just stood back and watched.
LeBron unveiled his next shoe release, which was once his FIRST release. His retro Nike Air Zoom Generation sneaks will be released soon, and LeBron took time to reflect on his very first pair of shoes, and how far he's come, both with Nike, as well as his life and career in general.
We haven't seen this many San Diego Chargers fans since... EVER. A large group of disgruntled die-hards let their anger be known after team chairman Dean Spanos announced that the team will be picking up and moving to L.A., Jerseys were burned, doors were egged. All kinds of destruction ensued. Shawne Merriman vowed to hunt down any former Chargers fans seen destroying his old jersey, but we honestly forgot he played there.
Whatever Serena Williams does, she does it better than anyone else. Widely seen as the best women's tennis player of all time, Serena is taking her talents off the court, showing some seductive moves for Berlei Bras.
The Bulls' up-and-down woes continued against the New York Knicks, but Dwyane Wade was definitely on the 'UP' side, as he turned back the clocks with a Flash-era style dunk. Carmelo Anthony would like to turn back the clock and not shoot an air ball that got him booed by the Madison Square Garden crowd. He'll take the jeering, though, as the Knicks easily beat the Bulls 104-89.
When veteran quarterback Tony Romo went out due to injury, many Dallas Cowboys fans thought they were in for another missed opportunity of a season. Then the heavens shined down with the gift of rookie sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot. The Cowboys have been riding high thanks to this duo, and now we reflect on a season of great moments between the pair.
Basketball fans had a few choice words for Kevin Durant after he bolted from the Oklahoma City Thunder to help make the already-Super Team Golden State Warriors even better. Durant hasn't been listening to the noise, however, as he's fit in quite well with Steph and the gang. Let's take a look at KD's best moments with the Warriors.
We look forward to Steph Curry's pregame antics, but it seems Klay Thompson has had enough. Prior to the Warriors 127-107 route of the Pistons on Thursday, Curry was lining up the basketball for a field goal. Yep. Well, the ball was set for the kick, but Klay Thompson decided there was better use for it, and shot a three-pointer instead. All Steph could do was look on in disbelief. That didn't put Curry out of the zone, though, as he carved Detroit up for 24 points, 6 assists and 5 steals.
Soccer great Cristiano Ronaldo and 3-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade are embattled in a hotly contested online battle for the best trick shot in a promotion with Poker Stars. While D-Wade hitting omelette jumpers from downtown is impressive, we think he may just be a little out of his league against Ronaldo's fancy footwork.
Russell Westbrook matches his triple-double total from last season (18), and we're only halfway through THIS season. He's literally put all of Oklahoma City on his back, as the team currently holds a 24-16 record without Kevin Durant. Westbrook pretty much owned Grizzlies star guard Mike Conley all night, stripping him of the ball on the way to a signature Russ monster dunk, and following up with a nasty rejection. Thunder win 103-95.
Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot have been the surprise of the NFL, as this Dallas rookie duo is riding high into the playoffs, hosting the Green Bay Packers. The youngsters haven't let the success go to their head. But thanks to Ezekiel Elliot, there's plenty of food going to Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's head. Watch as Elliot relentlessly interrupts Dak's locker room interview by pelting candy and crumbs at Prescott's face.
Things got heated during the Wizards vs Celtics game in Boston on Wednesday. It was a physical contest throughout, and was highlighted by a John Wall-Jae Crowder altercation. The two got up in each other's faces, when Crowder put his finger on John Wall's nose. Wall retaliated with a 5-finger face-check. Wall got the best of Crowder, but the Celtics got the best of the Wizards with a final score of 117-108.
Odell Beckham, Jr. was a complete NO-SHOW in the playoffs against the Green Bay Packers, and his key dropped passes made critics question his focus, especially after he was spotted on a boat partying with friends in Miami. It's been a rough season overall, filled with temper tantrums and massive fines. OBJ has had time to reflect, and is coming to terms with the fact that he needs to be more mature, on AND off the field.
