This is the emotional moment when two hairless chimpanzees share their love and affection for each other. Watch as they act like lovers do in a way you would never expect it! Adorable! Jambo from the Twycross Zoo in England is completely relaxed in his new enclosure called Eden. He is caressing her foot gently, while she is playing hard to get and keeps pulling away. Just like humans, you can see her later putting her hands around his neck in a loving gesture. Then she starts to kiss his bald head gently. The next bit is just amazing as Jambo pulls away and stretches out his lips towards her. She then gently bites his lips and pulls on it. She continues to investigate his teeth for a few seconds before biting his lip again. He then continues with a French kiss, sticking out his tongue. He even closes his eyes for a second to enjoy the intimate moment! Afterwards he gently bites her brows. You can easily see how animal love doesn't differ much from our own. Even an alpha male, that shows everybody who the boss is by intimidating the opponent with lots of noise and bluster, that he can be also very gentle. An amazing animal couple. And for Jambo it shows that being a bit different doesn't stop you from doing anything, from becoming the boss to a gentle lover. The question on your mind is, why is Jambo hairless? People also call him the 'naked chimp'. Some people think they shaved him or that he is ill. The truth is, the ape has Alopecia, a medical term for hair loss and he had it since adolescence. He is now 35 years old and with his hair gone you can simply see how powerfully muscular he is. Being a <a href="https://rumble.com/v33qx6-the-facinating-hairless-chimpanzees.html" target="_blank">hairless chimpanzee</a> hasn't stopped him from anything, rather the opposite as he's the alpha male and rules his habitat!

He was undergoing a routine health check for his enlarged neck gland at the Twycross Zoo, but failed to come around from the anesthetic. Akeno the greater one-horned rhino calf from Chester Zoo is just a barrel of energy. He runs around with those cute little wiggly ears headbutting his mom every so often. When mom decided to lie down, Akeno bumps into her leg, then walks around her and jumps on her back! While on top of her he gives her little nudges, one after another. When that is not working he gets off her back and nudges her in the butt and runs off. After a few more nudges in his mother's face and another runaround, his mom finally gets up again. Who could think that such large and dangerous animals could be so adorable? Isn't this the cutest spectacle you have seen in zoos? Also known as the greater <a href="https://rumble.com/v30q6p-newborn-one-horned-rhino-calf.html" target="_blank">one-horned rhino</a>ceros and great Indian rhinoceros, the baby was born at the Chester Zoo, Cheshire England at around 6 pm on the 3rd of May 2018. It is a male and they named him Akeno, meaning “beautiful sunrise”. Asha, his 11-year-old mom, had a 16-month pregnancy and only a 20-minute labor. The dad, Beni, is separated from these two, presumably for safety reasons. When on the topic of rhinos, take a look at this baby who did not have such a great start in life, but due to the love and care of animal protection teams got a new chance in life. A baby rhino abandoned as a newborn due to a case of mistaken identity was saved by a local rescue team. The rhino, now one-month-old, lives with the team at Aquila Rescue Centre, who have developed an 18-month plan to reintroduce him into the wild. Looking after the young calf is a full-time occupation, with the baby needing to be fed every two hours. He has also be assigned a mentor to teach him how to graze, something his mother would have done. On New Year’s Eve 2015, the staff at the Aquila Rescue Center in Cape Town, South Africa, received a call about an injured rhino calf in the wilderness. The team discovered the baby rhino close to midnight, slumped in the dirt. According to Divan Grobler, a member of the conservationist team, his mother probably mistook her baby with another newborn in the vicinity and left her own by mistake. The team spent the entire night with the baby, trying to locate its mother and reunite them, but had no luck. Ten hours had passed without luck and the calf was getting hungry. The team brought the baby rhino back to the center and tried again the next day, only for the mother to reject him once more. Now one month old, the baby rhino lives with the team at Aquila Rescue Centre. They have developed an 18-month plan to reintroduce their newest protegee back in the wild, where he belongs. Until then, he needs to be fed every two hours and can consume 15-20% of his body weight in formula. Not to mention the exercise! What do you think about this video? What do you do when you see a rat? Do you grab your skirt and jump on the highest point inside your house, screaming at the top of your lungs for someone to come and rid you of your misery? Or do you grab your broom/shovel/other cold weapon of choice and go after the sneaking little bugger, letting him know that he shall not pass? These gibbons definitely went the courageous way when they one very rude and intrusive <a href="https://rumble.com/v344va-ridiculous-plan-to-remove-a-rat-from-a-house-actually-works.html" target="_blank">rat</a> in their enclosure at the Dudley ZOO in England. The lar gibbons went absolutely bananas when they saw the rodent casually nibbling on something in the grass. One of them was catching some sunshine, while the others were poking through the grass, but when the rat started moving, everyone went ballista on the rodent. One of the monkey did what every cartoon character would do in its situation - it took to the ropes to get the hell out of there! “Hilarious lar gibbons are getting all panicky about the rat in their enclosure,” is written in the description of the original video. “Penny, the baby is trying to shoo the rat away with its long arms when his mom, Meo, comes to help and they both run the rat out of the enclosure.” While the babies ran away, the mom took on a protective posture, as any mom would and darted after the rat to scare it away. Another <a href="https://rumble.com/v44v93-gibbon-hugging-cat-to-keep-warm.html" target="_blank">gibbon</a> joined forces, ultimately rushing the uninvited guest out.

Did you know that apes enjoy walking on two feet like humans do? Look at this compilation of the various apes, like the gibbon, with its long legs and arms dangling down while walking. Then there are the chimpanzees with their funny walks and even Jambo the hairless chimp walks on two feet! Oumbi the big silverback gorilla has a go at it as well while picking up his food, but the master at this is the gorilla youngster called Lope! With him you can just see how much he loves to walk on two feet. He’s just got that real swagger and can show everybody else how it is done. You can see him feeling comfortable in doing it as well.

The Orangutan babies from the Twycross Zoo are a joy to watch. When they aren't trolling through the enclosure, they playfighting and today, a game of slapsies. Basuki is pulling his half-sister off the tree trunk. Kayan falls and does a roll. Then the fun of slapsies starts. Too funny!

If you ever needed proof of just how closely we are related to apes, then this video should do the trick. Shot in the orangutan enclosure in the Twycross zoo in the UK, a baby orangutan tried showing a little bit of sass, but got interrupted by none other than his fearsome dad. The male borneo orangutan Batu is following his son Basuki through the outdoor enclosure. He keeps trying to grab his son, but his son is getting away. Basuki is tumbling and stumbling and then climbs the net. He is not out of reach, so Batu pulls his son down. When the big male opens his mouth it looks quite scary with his big teeth showing as if he wants to bite the little babies head. He then carries Basuki away, until Basuki wiggles free again and is trying once more to get away. Dad follows and grabs him again by his little arms and drags him and pushes him inside the door. Batu was very determined to get his son inside and Basuki really didn't want to go. He did manage in the end, but it wasn't long before Basuki escaped again and came outside heading for the climbing net. When Batu came out again, little Basuki quickly headed for his mom. Did you know that orangutans have the slowest known life histories of any mammal on the planet? Basically, they take their sweet time growing up and they take even more time to reproduce. Baby orangutans depend on their moms for the first two years of their lives, hanging onto them for transport until they are as old as 5 years of age. They can even breastfeed on their mom’s milk until they are 8! When they get too old or too big to be carried around, they still stick to their moms by holding hands, which is called buddy travel. Orangutan dads almost never take part in the upbringing of their young, so seeing this kind of interaction between dad Batu and naughty boy Basuki is quite rare. <a href="https://rumble.com/v31tdg-rare-newborn-baby-gorilla-in-moms-arms.html" target="_blank">Twycross Zoo</a> was established in 1963 by Molly Badham and Nathalie Evans, two women from Evesham in Worcestershire who started handling wild animals in their respective pet shops. Ms. Badham became an expert of primates in captivity, providing chimps for as a way to raise funds for the zoo. One of her primate protegees even went on to become a movie star, appearing in a Hammer Horror film with Peter Cushing. Twycross Zoo now houses around 500 animals of almost 150 species, including many endangered ones. It is renowned as a “specialist primate zoo” and is the only zoo in the United Kingdom to exhibit all four types of great ape: bonobo, chimpanzee, orangutan and gorilla. Twycross currently houses 13 bonobos, 20 chimps, four <a href="https://rumble.com/v6nbav-rescued-orangutan-becomes-surrogate-mother-to-orphaned-infant.html" target="_blank">orangutans</a> and five gorillas. About 37% of their animal collection is classed as near threatened, vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered by the IUCN. Many of their animals are part of conservation breeding programs which help ensure a future for species threatened with extinction.

Chimpanzees are our closest living relatives, sharing more than 98 percent of our genetic blueprint. Humans and chimps are also thought to share a common ancestor who lived some four to eight million years ago. Although they normally walk on all fours (knuckle-walking), chimpanzees can stand and walk upright. By swinging from branch to branch they can also move quite efficiently in the trees, where they do most of their eating. Chimpanzees usually sleep in the trees as well, employing nests of leaves. In this video, Jambo the hairless <a href="https://rumble.com/v4ek1t-chimpanzee-uses-cd-as-mirror-to-check-her-face.html" target="_blank">chimpanzee</a> is getting a thorough dental check by his mate. She is really trying to get all the little bits out of his teeth poking and prodding, while Jambo holds very still and lets her get on with the job. Of course chimps care about the monkey business thing, especially if there is somebody around them to watch what they do and be left in awe. Apes will never cease to surprise us with their incredibly clownish behavior. And they thoroughly enjoy the role of being a jesters on the “court” called a zoo. Jambo’s friend makes sure to give him a detailed dental check-up by using her hands as a dental floss and a toothbrush in order to be able to pluck out every tiny little piece of leftover food that got stuck between his teeth. She also wants to make sure that all parts of the hard and soft palate are being equally flossed. And just look how Jambo follows suite. Neither once does he complain or jerks his head in displeasure. We know that <a href="https://rumble.com/v3407e-chimpanzee-love-makeup-and-do-her-hair-style.html" target="_blank">primates</a> love when somebody pats and taps their bodies and they can go on reaping the full benefits of that for hours and hours. So, when Jambo’s mate meticulously finishes cleaning the soft palate, she doesn’t forget to go on cleaning the hard one. Chimpanzees are lively animals with more extroverted dispositions than either gorillas or orangutans. They are highly social and live in loose and flexible groups known as communities, or unit groups. Social dominance exists, with adult males being dominant over adult females and adolescent males. Within a community, there are twice or three times as many adult females as adult males. The dominant (alpha) male of a group can monopolize ovulating females through possessive behavior. On the other hand, gang attack by subordinate males can expel an alpha male.

This baby orangutan has some fun building a soft landing from wood shavings and then jumps on it! Such a smart and clever animal!

The bonobo (pygmy chimpanzees) siblings from the Twycross Zoo are having quite the play fight. Even the 5-month-old is joining in by repeatedly hitting the older sibling!

Sprout the Orangutan from the Dudley Zoo lays this towel down flat and pulls mom towards it. Mom, named Jazz, lies down and cuddles with her daughter on top of it. Amazing!

The weather is finally getting better as it is warming up and the animals at the zoo are getting lively. Take a glimpse at this Bonobo ape for instance and how he is showing his cheerfulness by his acrobatics around the enclosure. First, he happily rolls around and stretches and scratches in the sun, taking short breaks before the real flip. When he gets a bit boring, he decides to roll up to a wooden pole in the ground. With four continuous back-flips, off he climbs on the wooden pole that has a tire around at the bottom. Having climbed on top of it, with one scratch on his back as a prelude to the upcoming unbelievable maneuver, he executes a perfect 360 back-flip. Apparently, the monkey is totally unaware of his breath-taking back-flip as he nonchalantly drops on the ground lying idly on the grass. Since his acrobatic movement leaves us awe-stricken, it is repeated in a slow motion manner in order for us to take another glimpse at the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3dma9-monkey-pulls-funny-faces-for-camera.html" target="_blank">monkey’s</a> amazing flip. As we can see, animals can do back-flips even better than us, humans. And wild animals like monkeys are not actually trained to do these back-flips. Bonobo doesn’t wait to catch his breath and he goes on doing a few more back-flips in the air, rolling in circles on the grass and getting all covered with it. This monkey is incredibly agile and the video is filled with his marvelous <a href="https://rumble.com/v4rjdn-wild-monkey-jumps-on-womans-back-looking-for-sweet-treats.html" target="_blank">jumping</a> actions. It is always fun to watch animal’s movements and their crazy acrobatic skills.

It seems that even the animal kingdom cannot escape unwanted advances by males! In this hilarious clip, a funny moment at the zoo is captured on camera as a gorgeous white lioness brushes against a sleeping male. When he wakes up and puts his paw around her in a loving gesture, only to have her jump back in surprise. The other female lioness then comes over to investigate what all the fuss is about! Talk about hilarious! This is one memorable clip that you will surely not want to miss! Hey, you cannot blame the male lion for trying, right? Sure the female lioness was startled at first but maybe if the male lion gave it another shot, he could find his soul mate! If she ends up rejecting him again, well there is plenty of other fish in the sea or in this case lions in the wild! Hopefully this male lion does not feel too discouraged after this event. Aside from the fact that these lions are hilarious, aren't they just adorable as well? There are new creatures that are often found at the bottom of the sea and this generates insecurity and panic in some people, although for others it is a historical fact that you should know how to appreciate, since it is something that is not seen every day. It is necessary that we respect the maritime rules, since they were created mainly for our well-being, often people tend to ignore these rules, but in some cases they tend to be fundamental for survival. In this case, we can see how the people in the container ship are a little scared, but they know how to stay calm, and that is very important. Most people think that the oceans are the biggest mystery on the planet, and that is something that should not be questioned. Each monkey has a very different personality and brings a different specialty to the sessions. Although orangutans are gentle and sit for hours gazing, this particular little munchkin likes having fun and won't stop! This precious orangutan named Sprout is living in the Dudley Zoo in England and she knows how to make the best use of her free time. Watch as she playfully tumbles and rolls all around her enclosure with such energy that she doesn't even get dizzy at the end of her shenanigans. Then, she decides that it would be a great idea if she put a piece of cardboard on her head to soften the contact with the ground while rolling around. Such a clever girl!

The Twycross Zoo is having an enrichment day for the animals by throwing lots of colorful balls and some boxes into the enclosure. The <a href="https://rumble.com/v3gzsj-curious-orangutan-interacts-with-burn-victim.html" target="_blank">orangutan</a> mom with her newborn baby in her arms decides it looks all a bit messy and, in classic mom fashion, she begins to tidy up after her offspring. She starts cleaning up by putting all the balls back into the box. Still with her newborn in her arms, she then carries the boxes with the balls in her mouth all the way up to the top of her climbing frame. She only drops one red ball! What a champ! Just how cute is this video? And we can all relate to the way mom takes care of the mess her baby made! It's just adorable! It's yet another proof that motherhood is the same with all the species out there, and an example that moms always have our backs - you won't find a better playmate or best friend out there, and this little baby surely knows this very well! Now for some background info: orangutans are among the most intelligent primates; they use a variety of sophisticated tools and construct elaborate sleeping nests each night from branches and foliage. The apes have been extensively studied for their learning abilities. There may even be distinctive cultures within populations. Field studies of the apes were pioneered by primatologist Birutė Galdikas. All three orangutan species are considered to be critically endangered. Human activities have caused severe declines in populations and ranges. Threats to wild orangutan populations include poaching, habitat destruction, and the illegal pet trade. This is Tojo from the Twycross Zoo in England and she loves her own reflection. You can always see her with a CD running around the enclosure. Now she had the opportunity to see herself in a camera and she made the most of it by pulling funny faces at it and then she applauds herself. She still didn't let go of her piece of CD in her hand. In 2016 a mirror self-recognition test if a non-human being has the capacity of visual self-recognition. Chimpanzees were one of the animals, that breezed through the MSR test as recognizing themselves. Twycross Zoo in Atherstone has 18 Chimps. They now have their new home. A great big indoor habitat spanning three stories high with outdoor climbing frames purposely designed to be similar to a wild environment. Chimpanzees are nearing extinction in the wild, primarily as a result of poaching and habitat loss. As some of the closest relatives to humans within the animal kingdom, it is hardly surprising they can be prone to similar ailments and diseases. Twycross Zoo is the project-lead of the Ape Heart Project; a 10 year research program to explore why many of the great apes are prone to developing heart disease, particularly in captivity. Working in close collaboration the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science at Nottingham University and an International team of vets and cardiologists, the hope is to be able to provide better care for the captive great ape community across Europe. The program is European-wide and endorsed by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA).

Everybody has to do what they gotta do sometimes. Although extremely cute, this sea lion is about to let out an assortment of bodily functions. His snot bubbles almost reach the camera! It is almost as though that he found his fart just as amusing as we all do. How hilarious! Sometimes you just can't keep it in anymore and it just slips out. These are the endangered white tiger cubs from the Tierpark Nadermann in Germany. Coming out of there den all they want is their mother. They call out to her. Just look at that fluffy gorgeous face with their stunning blue eyes. Tiger mom Bianca is not far away. She picks one of the cubs up by the scruff of its neck. The white tiger baby is not moving and just hanging out of mom's mouth, but once she puts the baby on the grass and licks it, the cub then starts to play. The other siblings, gender yet unknown, start to join and play with mom as well. Five cubs were born on the 3rd of August 2019. More to come from these little cuties!
