Iran launched a barrage of missiles targeting military sites in Israel over the weekend, in retaliation for Israel's deadly attack on an Iranian consulate building in Damascus earlier this month. While the world was waiting to see what Iran's response would be, Tehran was attempting to decrease tensions by calling for the UN Security Council to condemn Israel's assault and calling for Israel to allow a ceasefire in Gaza. Journalist Marwa Osman noted that it was only during Iran's retaliatory attack that the Palestinians had a few hours of peace, as Israel's focus turned from committing genocide in Gaza, to calling on its friends to provide air defense. Those friends just happened to include the U.S., the UK, France and Jordan... and the cost was around $1 BILLION.

The International Atomic Energy Agency is condemning the latest Ukrainian drone attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, but as usual, refusing to assign any blame on the attacks that came from Ukraine, targeting the Russian-held plant, on the same day that IAEA experts were inspecting it. There wasn't just one Israeli airstrike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza, who were traveling in cars marked with the logo of their organization, on roads pre-approved by the IDF—there were three separate airstrikes, and as we're now learning, Israel bombed the aid workers until they died. Political commentator and Founder of Syriana Analysis, Kevork Almassian, noted that Israel's goal has been to make the Gaza Strip uninhabitable for the Palestinians, and that requires making the Israeli Defense Minister's promise of a complete blockade a realty. As Palestinians starve to death, Israel is openly targeting those who attempt to give them access to humanitarian aid.

That attack came on the same day that Israel bombed Damascus, destroying Iran's consulate building and killing two Iranian generals and five officers, raising concerns that Netanyahu is looking to increasing regional tensions, in order to distract from his failure to "defeat Hamas" in Gaza. Given all of the war crimes Israel is committing—what is the U.S. doing in response? Well, according to reports, the Biden Admin is looking at moving forward with an $18 BILLION arms transfer to Israel.

Moscow-based Journalist Fiorella Isabel noted that while the West has spent years trying to push the Russian people to turn against their government through sanctions and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, there are now growing fears that civilians in Russia will become the targets of increased attacks.

The UN Security Council was able to pass a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza for the remainder of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, after the U.S. abstained, but didn’t veto it. But while Netanyahu has thrown a temper tantrum about it, he has refused to acknowledge it, as Israel has continued bombing Gaza. Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that although Israel claims its goal is to “defeat Hamas,” its strategy in the Gaza Strip has been aimed at killing and starving Palestinians on a mass scale, targeting journalists, doctors and aid workers.

Nearly 140 people were murdered in a horrific terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region last week, with the Biden Admin immediately claiming Ukraine wasn't responsible, and that it must have been the elusive group ISIS-K... International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that ISIS-K has a history of being accused of being a CIA front, as it fights the same groups Washington is fighting—but never the U.S. Therefore, some have suggested the Russian government views ISIS-K as a "fig leaf of plausible deniability" in this attack, and a cover for Kiev. In his latest comments, Russian President Putin said they know the attack was carried out by radical Islamists, but now they want to know who orchestrated it, saying, “We know who carried out the attack. We want to know who ordered it.”

The ruling military government in Niger has announced the end of the nation's security pact with the United States—effectively calling for the U.S. Military to get out of Niger. The only problem? Washington's investments include a $280 Million drone base that it uses for surveillance over the entire Sahel region. While the Pentagon is scrambling to get Niger to reconsider, their bases in the country stand to join the long list of abandoned U.S. Military equipment and bases around the world that, all too often, have fallen into the hands of the same groups the U.S. was once fighting.

Russian President Putin secured a fifth term in office with a landslide victory amid record voter turnout this week. While the West acted shocked and claimed that something must be something wrong, anyone paying attention to Russia would see that NATO's campaign to divide the country has backfired, and united it instead. Meanwhile, the U.S. President and Israeli Prime Minister had their first phone call in over a month, in which Biden was said to have given his strongest warning yet against Netanyahu's planned ground invasion of Rafah. But Biden also said he supports the defeat of Hamas—a reminder that no matter how much he claims to be against it, he's still giving Israel the green light to invade, despite the 1.5 Million Palestinians whose lives are at risk.

The mainstream media is still waking up to the fact that NATO cannot keep up with Russia's industrial capacity, with CNN reporting that Russia is on track to produce three times more artillery munitions than the U.S. and Europe this year. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the Western media need to get their numbers straight, as a NYT report from last September said that Russia was actually producing SEVEN times more artillery munitions than all of NATO. Of course, this comes as Kiev is desperately using everything it can against Russia, including Washington's prized M-1 Abrams tanks... which have left much to be desired from their performance on the front lines.

The U.S. President is doubling down on his support for Israel, claiming that "there’s no red line," as Netanyahu has made it clear that no form of international pressure is going to convince him to pull back from plans to invade Rafah. Veteran Journalist Elijah J. Magnier noted that as Israel prepares for a ground invasion that is putting around 1.5 Million Palestinians—the majority of whom have already been forced to flee their homes—at risk, the U.S. is fully in support, knowing that the goal is to fulfilling Israel's ultimate plan of forcing the Palestinian population out of the Gaza Strip for good.

The annual State of the Union started off sounding like a war-time address from President Biden, as he called for more support for Ukraine and warned about the dangers of Hitler, Putin and Trump (in that order). But while Biden rallies for more lethal aid for Kiev, he's also doing everything in his power to keep the bombs flowing to Israel, as it commits genocide in Gaza. Independent Journalist Sam Husseini noted that the Biden Admin's latest attempts to save face by air-dropping aid to the Palestinians or planning to build a port for aid off of the Gaza coast are meaningless when they continue to fully back Israel's assault. With more than half a million Palestinians on the brink of famine, they have weeks, if not days before dire help is needed.

The infamous 'Maidan Midwife' who proudly handed out cookies in Kiev over a decade ago, as she instigated the violent protests that would lead to the fall of the democratically-elected government of Ukraine, is officially retiring from the State Dept. But if there’s anything we've learned about the lifelong warmonger that is Victoria Nuland, it's that she isn't likely to go away for good... even if her latest efforts to convince Congress to pass $60 Billion in Ukraine aid, or to convince Zelensky to keep Zaluzhny have failed. Nuland is much more likely to end up at some neocon think tank like the Center for a New American Security or the National Endowment for Democracy... just like she did when Trump was in office. Israel isn’t the only one being sued for violating the Genocide Convention… Nicaragua has filed a case at the International Court of Justice against Germany for providing support to Israel as it commits genocide against the Palestinians. Prof. Francis Boyle, a human rights lawyer who represented Bosnia in a genocide case at the ICJ and won two orders in their favor, noted that this could end up being a landmark case that could be used against other countries that have aided Israel… such as the United States. All of this comes as Kamala Harris met with Benny Gantz and emphasized the need for “a credible and implementable humanitarian plan” before Israel proceeds with a ground invasion of Rafah. In other words, the Biden Admin appears to be giving the green light to its ally to carry out yet another massacre in Gaza, despite countless international warnings of the humanitarian catastrophe it will cause for the Palestinians.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has gone through a range of excuses, after talks between military officials, in which they were discussing how to secretly send Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Kiev for planned attacks on Russia, were intercepted and made public. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that it wasn’t just that they were planning to send the missiles, it’s that they were planning the attacks for Kiev. While Pistorius has blamed an officer joining the call on an unsecured line, and complained about what he called “Putin’s information war,” it’s not clear yet how much Chancellor Olaf Scholz knew about these talks.

The U.S. Military has started airdropping aid to Gaza in what appears to be an attempt by the Biden Admin to make it look like they care about the Palestinians, with more than 500,000 on the brink of famine, due to the bombardment and blockade from Israel, supported by the U.S. Political commentator and Founder of Syriana Analysis, Kevork Almassian, noted that any "help" the U.S. may try to send to the Palestinians is overshadowed by the bombs they continue to supply to the Israelis—exposing Biden's latest publicity stunt for exactly what it is.

U.S. officials are reportedly claiming they expect Israel to launch a ground invasion of Lebanon in the late spring or early summer, as border clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah escalate, while Israel continues to kill Palestinians in Gaza. Palestinian-American Journalist Dr. Ramzy Baroud noted that the 'Flour Massacre,' which unfolded as Israeli troops opened fire on hundreds of Palestinian civilians around an aid convoy in Gaza City was no accident—and it is part of the continued attempt by Israel to force Palestinians to the south, to eventually expel them into the Sinai Desert.

Some are calling him a hero, some are calling him insane. There’s no doubt that Aaron Bushnell’s decision to light himself on fire and take his own life in front of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC, was extreme. But he made it clear that his goal was to raise awareness about the genocide Israel is committing—fueled by U.S. support—against the Palestinian people in Gaza. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest, but compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all. Zelensky is on yet another fundraising tour, hoping to convince the West to continue its unprecedented support for Ukraine, as part of a wider proxy war against Russia that has taken NATO vs. Moscow tensions to new levels. Veteran, Author and Russian Military Expert, Andrei Martyanov, noted that NATO is not built to "win" wars, and its quest to isolate, suffocate and destroy Russia has set a precedent that Moscow can never forget.

Biden is currently trying to convince Congress to pass around $100 Billion in foreign aid—$14 Billion of which, is for Israel. Reports citing Biden Admin officials are now saying the goal for that money is to prepare Israel for a “Multi-Front War” Of course, Israel is already waging a war on multiple fronts, as it bombs the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria, with Netanyahu practically begging for a direct war with Iran. It’s another reminder that while the Biden Admin may make it look like they are trying to persuade Israel to kill less civilians, they continue to do everything in their power to keep the weapons and ammunition flowing. Moscow called the measures "fruitless," and noted that despite the fact that the West has made Russia the most sanctioned nation in the world, the Russian economy continues to grow. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the latest round of sanctions isn't just about targeting Russia—it's also about the push to target the countries, businesses and individuals who continue to work with Russia, amid Washington's quest to isolate Moscow.

Biden is teasing "major sanctions" against Russia to be announced later this week, with NSC Spokesman Kirby claiming the measures will "hold Russia accountable" for both the death of Alexey Navalny AND the last two years of war in Ukraine. Of course, no one in the Biden Admin has anything to say about the last decade of U.S. funding and interference in Kiev that led up to the current conflict... because the context doesn't seem to matter.
