With These Hacks, We Will Never Take Salt For Granted Again3m21s

With These Hacks, We Will Never Take Salt For Granted Again

When we look at salt, we see this grainy, white-ish substance that makes our food bearable to eat. It has been around for so long, people seem to take it for granted. Well, not anymore! With these hacks, we feel you will be just as gobsmacked about all the ways salt can make your life easier as we were! If there is caked up gunk on your clothes iron, salt can help you get rid of them! Turn that iron on high and sprinkle a generous amount of salt on a sheet of wax paper. Rub that hot iron on the salty for about a minute in all directions to help that sodium pick up the molten gunk from the plate. Good as new! Did your greasy pan catch on fire? You can cut of the flames’ flow of oxygen by covering it with salt. It is that simple. Just like with the clothes iron, you can remove burned up gunk off your pans with a good amount of salt. Cover the bottom and add a bit of water inside. The salt-water combo will lift that gunk and burned food debris, allowing you to just wipe them off. But wiping that grease off your pan will probably leave you with a greasy sponge, so salt comes to the rescue once more! Dissolve a quarter cup of salt in two cups of water and submerge the greasy sponge overnight. In the morning, just wring and you are done! Keep watching to learn about more hacks with the almighty Salt! Join the List!

These 7 Tips Have Saved Us A Lot Of Money4m20s

These 7 Tips Have Saved Us A Lot Of Money

Cheapskates aside, there are those of us who would rather look for a budget-friendly alternative to the things we use or do the most everyday, than having to pay extra. But sometimes solutions are hard to come by on one’s own. Luckily for all of us, the Household Hacker has put together 7 awesome money saving tips that can save you a ton of money this year... Reduce your bills, conserve water, make your own house cleanser and more! Say, you came across an awesome deal for some delicious steaks at the supermarket. You saved a bunch right there, but what happens when you come home and have to store them all? Freezing them like that can damage the flesh on the long run, so you might as well vacuum seal them them! Put each slice of meat into a resealable bag and fill your sink with water. Close the zipper on the bag leaving just an inch open and submerge it in the water. The pressure will squeeze the air out, leaving you with a nice piece of meat that will keep fresh for longer. When your remote stops working and you don’t have enough batteries to replace, just add a fresh one and replace the other with a bolt. The juice from the battery will be enough to power your remote just until you get a second battery. Care to save some extra on your water bill? Put a 1 liter bottle filled with water into the tank of your toilet. The volume will reduce the amount needed for the tank to fill up, ultimately saving you up to 30 gallons a month! Wanna save up some money on your WiFi bill? Here’s something you probably haven’t thought about before: try talking with your neighbor on splitting the cost. That way, you get to share the bill AND the password. Just make sure your neighbor keep his end of the bargain. When you use up you garment refresher, don’t run to the store for another $4-5 bottle - just make some at home! Add a teaspoon of baking soda and a tablespoon of fabric softener to a cup of warm water into a spray bottle. The soda will take care of the nasty odors, while the softener will leave a pleasant scent behind. Wanna keep both the environment and your wallet safe? Replace Clorox with a solution you can make at home. Add two teaspoons of baking soda, one teaspoon of dish soap and and three tablespoons of white wine vinegar to a spray bottle, then fill up the rest with warm water. Shake to combine and use everywhere, even in places you prepare food on! Lastly, we just gotta mention LED light bulbs. They might cost a wallop initially, but their power requirements are drastically lower than their older counterparts and they last way longer. You do the math!
