February 13th - A Physician Explains That It Is Possible To Defeat A Serious Disease
Doug Talks About: A Physician Explains That It Is Possible To Defeat A Serious Disease
Albert was diagnosed with brain cancer. He had decisions to make. He visited with Dr. John Gonino near Dallas, TX and before too long his world changed. Today you will meet both Dr. Gonino and Albert live on my set during a 45-minute (or so) show wherein Dr Gonino will explain why he took the approach he did to try to help Albert. PLEASE tell any and everyone you know who has, had or fears cancer to join us from 3-3:45PM...we may go longer based on your questions to Albert and Dr. Gonino. - Doug

Doug Talks About: Caveat Emptor - Let The Patient Beware
What an amazing response we had to the cancer vs. fungus presentation. Thank you all! Today, I want to respond to some questions you had during the show. Also, let’s continue to learn together. Two weeks ago, you learned that doing nothing for prostate cancer might have the identical effect of doing a radical prostatectomy! Today you will learn that talking to a psychologist/psychiatrist rather than talking and being prescribing antidepressants shows better outcome for patients. - Doug

February 9th – Fungal Infections Are Often Diagnosed As Cancer
Doug Talks About: Fungal Infections Are Often Diagnosed As Cancer
I am unqualified to diagnose or treat cancer, but as you know, I have helped many doctors develop strategies for defeating fungal infections in their patients. On a regular basis I get asked what I would do if I were in their shoes and was diagnosed with cancer. Given current science, first and foremost, I’d ask the treating doctor to rule out a fungal cause to the tissue being affected. Fifty years ago, I was premature with my assumption that since cases of cancer were responding favorably to an antifungal approach, ergo cancers are caused by fungus! Today, we know with certainty that some are. You or I or any oncologist can search for the words “fungal ball diagnosed as cancer” into the National Library of Medicine’s website and access 133 independent research papers that expound upon how fungi sometimes masquerade as cancer. Please join me Friday, February 9 at 11AM Central Time for a live 30 or 40-minute power point presentation, then let’s try to respond to a few of your questions regarding the obvious link that exists between cancer and fungi. This is not about cancer. It’s all about fungus. - Doug

February 6th – Patient to Doctor – FIX ME, DON’T MANAGE ME!
Doug Talks About: Patient to Doctor - FIX ME, DON'T MANAGE ME!
Fix me! Stop managing my symptoms! Whether or not we like it, medicine has their own way of accommodating the symptoms and diseases that we patients suffer from. These are most often “managed,” but rarely fixed. How is it that medical schools teach our brightest and best students that they are not smart enough to fix patients, but only to “manage” each symptom with medication? Of course, managing symptoms works brilliantly within the halls of science, but does it work for patients, many of whom take daily medications for the rest of their lives? Also, as I have told you for decades, cancer and fungus share too many similarities to be coincidental. Can they sometimes be one-in-the-same? Today we will talk about two new scientific articles that add to the growing body of evidence that seem to support the fact both fungal cells and cancer cells can grow into large lumps. You're going to love this show! Join me and tell a good friend! - Doug

February 5th – Are we being over-diagnosed and over treated?
Doug Asks: Are we being over-diagnosed and over treated?
Please comment below if you have the time or inclination. Have you ever been over diagnosed, or over treated in a medical setting? If so, you’re certainly not alone. Everyday patients are over diagnosed and given medications or procedures that will not help them or worse, may hurt them. On Monday, I will excerpt a recent article written on a medical website entitled, “We Caught it Early: Blessing or Burden?" In my opinion, that totally depends upon what their definition of what “it” is. Patients must either feel that their symptoms are serious enough to warrant the need of medical intervention or that their symptoms will self-resolve. Either way there are consequences to every decision we make. Let’s discuss what happens when we are over diagnosed and over treated. - Doug

Welcome To Know The Cause! - Hosted by Doug Kaufmann
Doug Kaufmann’s mission is to counsel both lay and professional audiences on achieving optimum health by avoiding poisonous fungal byproducts, called “mycotoxins.” Unbeknownst to most healthcare providers, humans are exposed to these mycotoxins in our medication, food, and air supply. Excess exposure is linked to many mammalian symptoms and diseases, as published extensively in medical journals. Our job is to assure that you know the cause.
