This is the 2nd video of the new series where I answer the question of:
Can we trust the Bible as God's word?
In this video, we have a look at the biblical manuscripts that prove to us that the bible is accurate and that it can be trusted. We look at most of the old manuscripts that are found of the bible and I show you that we have over 20 000 sources to put the bible back in its original form.
I talk a little bit about the Masoretic text, the dead sea scrolls, the Septuagint, the Peshitta, the Coptic translation, the Vulgate and the Textus Receptus, the Jesus Papyrus, the Chester Beatty papyrus, the old texts from the church fathers and more.
It is truly a shock that most Christians do not know all of this and that is why some people doubt the bible when they hear false "stories" about it.
Is the Bible just another book? Definitely not!
Can we trust the Bible? Yes!
The evidence is there, but people doubt it because they lack knowledge...
The evidence of all the old manuscripts clearly shows us that we can trust the bible that we have today.
