--SYNOPSIS-- Combat engineers from a variety of NATO countries regularly train together to fortify defensive positions, demolish enemy fortifications or help ground troops circumvent obstacles like dense forests or rivers. Footage includes engineers from the German Army 701 Armoured Engineer Battalion, Lithuanian land forces from the Juozas Vitkus Engineer Battalion, Royal Netherlands Army 411 Engineer Company and the US 103rd Engineer Battalion. --TRANSCRIPT-- SOUNDBITE IN ENGLISH SFC Roel Meijer Dutch Army Engineers ‘Travelling to my work, I drive a really small car.
