Wine Tasting L'Ecole Columbia Valley Frenchtown Red Wine 2021

When you smell this particular wine, it makes you think of a merlot or cabernet sauvignon but upon tasting this wine, it reminds me at least a lot more of a pinot noir. A quite complex wine with characteristics of dark fruit, perhaps sweetened plum, hints of spice and vanilla bean, much more acidic than tannin present and a much lighter wine than expected.
