Meatball Recipe - International Cuisines

This simple meatball recipe has many versions and sizes. This is my take on "Persian Koofteh" please let us know in the comment section if there is a similar dish in your home town.

Ingredients:
1 kilo lamb mince (2.2 pound)
1 cup of Jasmin short grain rice
1/2 cup yellow split peas
3 large onion
3 TBSP tomato paste
1 TBSP capsicum paste
1 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp pepper for the sauce
Spice mix:
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp salt for mixture
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp turmeric
barberries and raisin for garnish
