Linda Hazzard | The “Doctor” Who Starved Her Patients to Death

Linda Laura Burfield was born in Carver, Minnesota in 1867. When she decided to become a doctor, she moved to Minneapolis, leaving behind a husband and two children. In 1902, she opened her first clinic and it’s where she began to claim that she could cure patients through fasting.
