Footage from the 7th SFG shows HAHO jump training. HAHO, or High-Altitude High Opening is a type of military free fall (MFF) technique that is mostly used when aircraft need additional standoff from enemy areas. The parachutist opens their parachute only seconds from leaving the aircraft, allowing them to navigate 30 miles, or more, using handheld GPS to get onto the designated drop zone.
