The footage reveals the arrest of a 17-year-old student by Florida cops after he assaulted a school official when they tried to take away his video game.

The arrest was carried out by deputies of the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO), Bunnell, Florida, United States.

The unnamed student was arrested for making an assault on one of the school employees for allegedly taking his Nintendo Switch game during a class.

The arrest was made in Matanzas High School, Palm Coast, Florida, United States - the school of the teenage student, on 21st February last week.

This arrest was made when the FCSO assigned to the school was alerted about an assault of a teenage student on a female paraprofessional employee.

A statement by Flagler County Sheriff's Office affirms that "On surveillance footage from within the school, the student who is approximately 6’6” and 270 pounds, is shown walking fast toward the victim and pushing the victim several feet, knocking her to the school floor, which knocked her unconscious.

"The student is then shown kicking and punching the unconscious victim several times in the back and head."

Further information gathered by Flagler County Sheriff's Office on the reason for the student's unprovoked assault on a paraprofessional employee says, "The student stated that he was upset because the victim took his Nintendo Switch away from him during class."

The student was taken from the school premises and then placed in custody.

He was taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention home from there.

He was later handed over to the Department of Juvenile Justice and then charged with Felony Aggravated Battery with Bodily Harm.

The female victim was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
