Seasoning up the Traeger FlatRock griddle is super easy! Just use flaxseed oil , canola oil, lard, cast iron pan conditioner, or even cooking spray to give your flat top a non stick coating! Preheat all the burners on high for 10 minutes. Then apply 7 or 8 tablespoons oil and coat the entire griddle including the inside edges with either paper towel or a cotton rag. Wipe off any excess and burn the remainder off for around 10 minutes until the griddle top stops smoking. Repeat this step at least 3 to 5 more times. The more you use your Traeger FlatRock griddle the more it will season up. Thanks for watching!!
