Ken R. Drysdale is an executive engineer with over 40 years of experience as a Professional Engineer, which includes 29 years experience in the
development and management of national and regional engineering businesses.
Experience in the consulting industry includes 11 years as National Director of Industrial / Commercial Engineering for UMA Engineering Ltd. and 18 years as Founder, President & CEO of Accutech Engineering Inc.
After having established Accutech as a leader in the development of Arctic projects, in 2015 he successfully negotiated the sale of Accutech
Engineering Inc., to a group of investors. Accutech remains the most recognized name in Arctic development in Canada, and annually completes
the design for some $50 M dollars of construction in Canada’s Arctic.
Following the sale of Accutech Engineering Inc., he established Artisanal
Steel, a specially steel fabrication company, and Studio Bella Rosa, an Audio and Video production company.
Ken’s business experience includes overall responsibility for multi￾disciplinary engineering groups, within a nation wide firm, to the start-up,
growth, operation and sustaining of amulti-disciplinary engineering company.
His experience as an engineer includes structural design, project management, functional programming, planning, management and contract administration of a wide variety of projects.
Major projects completed are located across North America, from the North Shore of Baffin Island to the West Coast of California. Major international work has included projects in the Nile Valley, Egypt, and a major energy production project in Austria.
Ken has been involved with new product development, building design,
industrial process improvement, forensic investigations, expert witness, and many other areas of engineering design and development.
Ken is a recognized expert in the area of Arctic Development including design of buildings on permafrost.
He is the inventor of two proprietary engineering systems including:

For more than 25 years he has been a contributor to numerous industry groups including, the National Building Code of Canada, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists, and the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of Canada.
Throughout his life he has been involved in the community through associations with organizations such as the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation, Scouts Canada, and Prairie Dog Central Railway to name a few.
