The Mysterious Step pyramid in Egypt | Inside the Underbelly of an Ancient complex

Out in the middle of the barren plains of Saqqara, south from the Giza Pyramids lies a unique relic - the Step Pyramid. Left abandoned for thousands years covered in sand, it was resurrected by 18th Century explorers such as Napoleon during the late 1790s.

Today it is a majestic wonder of ancient technology that powered a city during it's time.
