A dish of Italian origin consisting of a flat disk of bread dough topped with a mixture of olive oil,

They are baked quickly—usually, in a commercial setting, using a wood-fired oven heated to a very high temperature—and served hot.

Ingredients:
dough:
3/4 cup (177 g) 110° (43° C) half-and-half
1/4 cup (60 g) warm water 110° (43° C)
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 cups (473 g) all-purpose four
1/8 cup (30 g) cornstarch
1 1/8 teaspoon (5.5 g) dry yeast
3/4 teaspoon (1 g) salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of sugar

Freezing:
If you do decide to freeze pizza, just wrap the prepared unbaked pizza (I place it on aluminum pizza pan to avoid deformation) with plastic wrap and foil. It will store for about 1 month in the freezer. When ready to bake, do not defrost your pizza. Just brush the sides with some olive oil and transfer to a well-preheated to 500 degrees F oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until well browned and cheese bubbling, rotating once. Cool for 5 minutes on a cooling rack before serving.
